The Extra Part 1

Zega was having lunch at the restaurant in front of the police station. He was alone at the time and finished lunch. Just as he wanted to call the waiter to pay for his food, suddenly two men came up to him. One was a man in a suit and the other was a man in a different police uniform to the one Zega was wearing.

The two men smiled as they nodded their heads. Zega did the same.

"Can we sit with you?" Ask the guy in the suit.

Zega nodded. "Please."

They are Fahreza and Febrian.

"Sorry we're bothering you, but we really need your help" Fahreza said.

"My name is Fahreza Gunindra." Fahreza and Zega shake hands.

"Febrian Galih." Febrian and Zega shake hands.

"You guys are cops from different divisions, right?" Fahreza said while looking at Febrian and Zega alternately.

Zega nodded. Fahreza looked at Febrian. The man showed me a picture of Nalesha.

"For over a month this girl has been missing, we've posted a search announcement on a street billboard. Maybe you've seen it" said Febrian.

Zega certainly knew, but he didn't answer right away.

Fahreza showed CCTV footage of the parcel delivery service. The video shows Zega and Nalesha sitting next to each other. They both seemed to be talking.

Zega nodded. "I've talked to that girl. At that time I wanted to send a package, it seems that he also wanted to send a package. But, I didn't know that he was the missing person and was being sought."

Febrian and Fahreza looked at each other.

"He ran away from home. A few weeks ago, people saw him with a man we didn't recognize at all" Fahreza said, showing a photo of Zael.

"If you find them, call me. I've promised huge sums of money to whoever finds them" Fahreza said.

Zega nodded then looked at Fahreza. "Forget about the prize money you promised. I will investigate this case by requesting an investigation request from my superiors. But, I have to investigate to the root. One of them was the reason why he ran away from home."

Fahreza did not answer.

Zega nodded. "There's no information you can give me? It means I can't do an investigation."

"He's my brother, I'm so worried. There are personal reasons we cannot say" Fahreza said.

Zega moved from his seat. "Well, I'll call you if I see them."

After saying that, Zega passed away while muttering softly, "What is the function of the police beside him? If you want to report a missing person, why not report in detail. He could be the kidnapper himself. She didn't look sad when talking about her missing sister."

Fahreza looked upset. "He's very arrogant. Even though she's San's descendant, she's a public servant who must serve society well."

In his room, Zega had obtained important information in the form of Nalesha's personal biodata.

"The youngest daughter of Gunindra's first wife. His position is very good, even though he is the youngest child, because he is the son of the first wife," read Zega.

"Several times tried to run away from home due to personal quarrels. I understand his feelings. It must have been hard living with the child of the woman who had snatched her father from her biological mother," Zega sighed heavily then leaned back into the chair.

"Why does a rich old man always need two wives? Why?"
