THE PENANCE 2: THE PREGNANT
TP2 - 07

Nalesha and Zael stand on a hill looking at the settlement of the inhabitants of the drucless from a distance. Looks some drucless activity as usual. But, there were also some drucless that were still stone. Zael looked sad. Nalesha rubbed Zael's back.

"You can definitely complete this mission immediately" comforted Nalesha.

"I was wrong, but the people I love were affected" Zael said.

Nalesha understood Zael's feelings. He was also sad for the man.

"I'm glad to see some of them are back to living life as it was." Zael smile.

The two of them climbed the higher hills and rested for a while. The dim sun again appeared shining down on the drucless world.

"It's morning? It feels like afternoon" murmured Nalesha.

Zael pointed forward. "Do you see that building?"

"Is that a palace?" Ask Nalesha.

"It was my kingdom that also turned to stone" said Zael.

"What's so big, what's the name of your kingdom?" Ask Nalesha.

"Ventalla," Zael replied.

"What a beautiful name." Nalesha smiled.

Zael picked the light blue fruit and gave it to Nalesha. "You must be hungry."

"Can I eat it?" Ask Nalesha.

Zael nodded. "This fruit is safe. Here, you can only eat white, light blue, light green, and pale yellow fruits."

"What about the other colors?" Nalesha asked while receiving the fruit.

"There are more fruits that can be eaten by the human race, but you will not remember the color, because there are some colors that do not exist in the human world" Zael replied.

"Oh, yeah." Nalesha ate the fruit. "It tastes delicious. It's like...."

Zael also ate the same fruit. He looked at Nalesha who seemed to be thinking.

"I can't explain what it's like, but it's sweet and.. how do I explain it, huh?" Nalesha looked puzzled as she continued to eat it.

After seeing the situation in the territory of the Kingdom of Ventalla, Nalesha and Zael walked down the beach.

Nalesha saw something moving in the middle of the ocean. He pointed in that direction. "Look, there's a big white one moving. What is bison? But why in the middle of the ocean?"

Zael turned to the direction Nalesha was looking at. "That's Guma. Big animals like polar bears, but have tusks like elephants, and have antlers like deer."

Nalesha digested Zael's words. "Very..it's amazing."

"The drucless nation considers guma to be one of the largest and most aggressive animals in the drucless world. Usually the Kings will make a contest for Princes and Kings of other kingdoms to conquer and the victors will marry a beautiful princess" Zael said.

Nalesha looked at Zael. "Have you ever followed the competition?"

Zael nodded. "But I didn't manage to conquer guma."

"I don't believe." Nalesha.

"Ask Arnav" said Zael.

"Are there really animals bigger than guma?" Ask Nalesha.

"Look up" Zael said.

Nalesha shook her head with a frightened expression. "I'll be surprised."

"It's not just land and sea animals. There are also animals that fly as big as a bus" said Zael.

Sound from the sky. Nalesha. "Go home, yuk!"

The wind blew fiercely as the passing large bird flapped its wings. Nalesha shouted in surprise. He saw the scaly bird with its long neck perched on a tree branch.

"That's so big." Nalesha hugged Zael's arm.
