THE PENANCE 2: THE PREGNANT
TP2 - 26

Zael drives his car at high speed, his eyes still orange. Nalesha sat beside him, not wanting to be left in the forest house alone.

"So, this time it's Arinda's ghost?" Ask Nalesha.

Zael nodded. "He's after Dio."

"If Arinda were to kill Dio, your penance would be in vain. No one should die, even if Dio did," Nalesha said.

"The woman disappeared from Dio's apartment" Zael said as he stopped his car. Both of his eyes turned normal.

"Is Dio still alive?" Nalesha asked worriedly.

Zael nodded. "But where did he go? I can't teleport if I don't know where she is."

"Don't..." Nalesha muttered, "He's also after Haikal."

Zael looked at Nalesha. His eye color changed back to orange. "You're right." He stepped on the gas.

"Yeah!" Nalesha was surprised while holding the seat belt that he had installed. "Don't drive it too fast, there's a cop in that post."

Zael knitted his brows. Two policemen saw a purple sports car passing by at high speed. They immediately boarded the motorbike and warned the driver of the car to stop.

Suddenly the car disappeared. The two policemen stopped their bikes. Both seem confused.

While the purple sports car suddenly appeared on the highway. Zael drove his car to the San Entertainment building. Haikal just came out of the building. He got into his car and drove himself.

The man passed through a deserted street leading to an elite housing complex. Suddenly a woman in white and long hair appeared in front of her car. Haikal screamed in surprise when his car accidentally hit the woman.

His breathing was still shocked. The man lowered the car glass then looked outside there was nothing outside. When he looked back to the front, a terrible face appeared on the windshield of the car.

"Aarray! What's that?!" Haikal turned on the wiper to get rid of that face. Then he returned to his car. The blood on his windshield made him unable to see the streets, so he accidentally hit a tree.

"What the fuck? How can I be here?" Haikal wet his windshield with mineral water and then he got back in the car and moved the wipers again.

Haikal left the place, but he returned to the sewer. It seems the man is lost. Several times he tried to get out of the place, but he went back there.

Zael and Nalesha were still in the car that stopped in front of the San Entertainment building.

"No way," murmured Zael.

Nalesha looked at Zael. "What's wrong? Why?"

"The ghost teleported to transfer Haikal to a fecal dump" Zael said.

Nalesha looked surprised. "Is he drucless?"

"The grudge and the pain he felt made him able to do so far. I think the ghosts of the human race can do it, because the world is different from the human world" said Zael.

"We should how? Haikal must not die" asked Nalesha worriedly.

"It looks like the ghost knows we're after him, so he moved Haikal there to buy time for us to have trouble getting to his place" Zael said.

Nalesha digested Zael's words. "I have an idea."
