Nalesha looked up at the red moon in the sky. "It's very scary."
"I told you, that the world of the drucless is not as beautiful as you might imagine. It's even scarier if you live for hundreds or even thousands of years in a drucless world" Zael said.
Nalesha fell to the ground. Zael also stopped. "I'll carry you."
"No, I can still walk, but I just need a little rest." Nalesha drank the holy water from the bottle.
Zael sat beside Nalesha. "Drucless will lose a lot of energy if it takes too long in the human world. He needs energy from holy water or steals energy from humans. And vice versa. Humans would lose energy if it took too long in the drucless world. He must drink holy water or steal energy from the drucless."
Nalesha elbowed Zael's arm. "There's a handsome drucless here. I'll steal power from you."
Zael smiled at Nalesha's words. The man looked at Nalesha. "If you talk to me like that I don't care, but if you talk like that to another drucless man, they'll think...."
"I'm having sex?" Cut Nalesha. "I know."
"You know a lot of it" said Zael.
"So you spoke a foreign language to the treteaa. I know it's not the language of the human world. What you speak is a drucless language where only the drucless and creatures in the drucless world understand. Drucless is capable of speaking any language in the human world. They adapt quickly and directly understand language in the human world, because the amount of vocabulary in the human world is not more than the vocabulary in the world of drucless," Nalesha said.
Zael nodded. "Your words are just right. I don't think I need to explain anything, because you already know a lot."
"I read that in books" Nalesha said
Zael. "All right, let's go."
"A little while, please." Nalesha rubbed her legs which felt so limp.
"I will carry you" said Zael.
"I don't want to." Nalesha.
Nalesha looked doubtful, but she finally climbed onto Zael's back. "I'm not as light as I look."
Zael started walking.
"I'm sorry, actually I don't want to trouble you let alone be a burden to you," Nalesha said as she hugged Zael's neck.
"Why do you always talk like that?"ask Zael gently.
"In other novels, female characters have always been a burden to male characters. I don't want to be like that" said Nalesha softly.
"You feel that way? You are not a burden to me. Don't think like that. Don't you want to be with me? Every day you cook steaks and other dishes for me, you sweep and mop the floor even though I forbid you, you help me complete my mission of penance. You did everything for me, Nalesha," said Zael.
"Yes too, anyway. But, I also often bother you, hitchhiking at your house, spending your money, making you uncomfortable, and much more" said Nalesha.
"I've never been bothered by your existence. My money won't run out if it's just to buy your needs. You don't make me uncomfortable either" said Zael. "You're talking like we're strangers who just met."
"When you first met, you were very talkative. Now I hear your voice more often. I'm so happy." Nalesha hid her face on Zael's nape.
Hearing Nalesha's words, Zael smiled.
