Chapter 12 Benjamin's Offer

Mr. Lawrence headed straight to the hospital upon hearing the news of the Roxena accident from Erin. He came with Benjamin.

"Where? Where is my brother? How's he doing?"benjamin asked half-shouting.

"You must save him! Otherwise, you'll all be wretched!!" Benjamin was dusty with such a big worried face.

Mr. Lawrence did not flinch at all with Benjamin's behavior. He chose to sit down and foretold a prayer for his daughter to be well.

Xena, please, son…

"Dad, Brother Xena must be fine. You don't have to worry." Benjamin turned to rest in front of Mr. Lawrence.

"You don't mind much because tomorrow, it will definitely be a hard day because Big Brother can't attend the coronation."

Mr. Lawrence's face darkened. "How dare you talk about it at a time like this?! Just go! Stop pretending!!"sarcastic Mr. Lawrence is upset.

"GO!!"snapped Mr. Lawrence was angry. His daughter is dying, and one is talking about the company.

"Dad, Brother will not survive" said Benjamin trivially. He took a few steps away before finally standing against the wall. Roxena's not out of the ER. The operating light is still on.

About 1 hour later, the door of the ER room was opened. Roxena's operation, it took hours. Master Lawrence instantly got up and Benjamin, only glanced lazily.

"Holy?" Mr. Lawrence gasped softly as the doctor who came out of the room opened his mask. Gerald nodded briefly. Benjamin immediately turned his face away, displeased.

Mr. Lawrence shook his head slowly. "Hows it? How's Xena doing?"ask Mr. Lawrence.

"The patient is stable. However, he is now in a coma" Gerald replied.

"Koma?" Mr. Lawrence's body went limp. Gerald nodded.

"When will he wake up? Xena's gonna be okay, right?"ask Mr. Lawrence to make sure.

"Time alone can answer. You don't have to worry too much. I will monitor the patient's condition" Gerald replied, placing his position as a doctor.

"Good, Son-in-law. Mercifully. Thank you." Thank you."

Gerald nodded. And soon the nurse came out pushing Roxena's bed. Followed by Erin. In Roxena's body, installed a variety of medical devices.

"Xena, my daughter." Mr. Lawrence rubbed Roxena's cheek gently.

"Big Master." Erin saluted. "I've arranged everything. You don't have to worry" Erin continued.

"Thank you, Erin."

Gerald then leads the way to Roxena's outpatient room. Mister Lawrence and Erin followed while Benjamin narrowed his eyes.

After making sure Roxena was safe in the ward, Gerald returned to his study. While traveling to the study, suddenly, someone was holding him back.

"What is the need, Young Master?"gerald asked coldly, looking at the man he recognized as Benjamin.

"Why did you save him? Wouldn't you be free if he died?"benjamin was not happy. He was angry with Gerald.

"I'm a doctor, Young Master. The patient's life is everything to me, even though he is my enemy" Gerald flatly replied.

Indeed, the freedom that Gerald wanted. However, he could not betray his doctor's appointment.

"Basic hypocrite!! There's no way you're doing it without anything else. You must want Lawrence's family treasure, right?!"accuse Benjamin directly. Gerald frowned displeased.

"Don't talk to you, Young Master!!"said Gerald coldly.

"Even if it's a dog, I'll keep helping him. Your family treasure, I don't need a dime!!"

"Did?!" Benjamin hissing. He changed his expression quickly.

"You can save him, then you can take his life. Ah, no-no. You're a human being living under promise. Tell you what, pretend you don't know. Then you'll be safe and free. And I, I will get my wish. Benjamin clenched his hands in annoyance. "That's arrogant. You hypocrite!!"hiss Benjamin.

"You'd better just go home, Great Lord," Erin said. It's morning. And Mr. Lawrence slept uncomfortably. It affected his aging physique.

"Erin, you take good care of Xena" said Mr. Lawrence. He complies with Erin. Leaving the hospital was accepted by his personal assistant.

There was Erin, along with Sophia and Lily who came this morning.

"When will Miss realize? I can't look at you like this" Sophia said.

"Miss will wake up soon" Lily said.

"When today is Miss's coronation day, why would an accident like this happen?" Sophia crying.

"Thank God Miss survived, hiks…." Sophia shuddered. He saw Roxena's car was badly run over by an accident. It was a miracle that he survived the accident. It's really incredible!

Erin, who was following the operation, said nothing about Roxena losing her heartbeat. His mind was now fixed on the reason for Roxena's accident. Erin already had her own predictions, her own suspicions. Just need to be sure.

If it is intentional, even if it is a member of Miss's family, I will not forgive her!!

"I'm sorry then." Gerald was about to move. Suddenly, someone blocked his hand. Gerald looked back. He's wide-eyed.

Roxena already opened her eyes and looked at him sharply. "Where are you going?"ask Roxena weakly. Sayu's eyes.

"Don't go. Follow me," Roxena's pinta. His eyes are so slow.

"Don't go. Let them go."

The couple looked at. Gerald was filled with question marks. And Roxena with her sweet look. The look Gerald rarely saw.

"Gerald, I need you."

"Let go!" Gerald tried to release Roxena's hand. But, it's very powerful. Though Roxena was in a weakened state, just realized from a major operation!!

Where did Roxena's power come from?
