Chapter 21 Decisions of the Head of the Family

Usually the position of the head of the family is passed down to the boys. However, it was different with Lawrence's family. The position of the head of the family is passed on to the first child born of a legal marriage, no matter the male or female. And usually, the position of the head of the family is inherited after the heir is appointed as President of Lawrence Group. So Roxane came to ask for it.

"I want to be recognized. I want you to look at yourself as someone who is capable. I want to be trusted. But, Dad is not on my side at all!"

Benjamin's eyes flushed. All the frustration of his heart turned into despair. He knows. If Roxane becomes the head of the family, it will become more and more dust. Dust that will be blown away due to a slow wind. Roxena's eyes, will be more and more cynical to her.

"Benjamin, you're not fit to be in Lawrence's family." Those words flowed like lightning in broad daylight. Benjamin's body stiffened.

"Xena?" Mr. Lawrence called out slowly. But her daughter did not flinch at all.

"You want to be recognized, don't you? With a surname, what can you prove? There aren't. You want to be appreciated? You want to be seen. I'll give you what you want. Starting tonight, you're out of this house. Lawrence surname behind your name, I took it off. You, are no longer part of the Lawrence family!!" Roxena said loudly at the end.

Mr. Lawrence stood up. He's surprised. "Dam!" This time raise his voice.

"What, Dad?"

It was a farewell before Roxane stepped away. While Gerald, directly following Roxena.

His heart is cold.

"I'm sorry, Ben. Dad, it's powerless."

Benjamin shook his head slowly. Never mind. Maybe this is his destiny. With a shunt, he stepped out of the house, dragging his suitcase.

Benjamin stared long ago, the building that had been his place. Roxena's words ringed in his head.

"Sister, it's not over. I'll be back!"his determination before actually leaving the Lawrence residence.

The servants who saw the commotion, sighed violently.

After Benjamin left, this residence no longer had a Young Master. And so is Young Miss. Is, Roxena going back to live in this residence? After years of living outside?
