Chapter 6 Attending a Party

Like a buffalo shuffled his nose, so the fate of Gerald today. Although the opposition was clearly in his eyes, physically rebellious, he could not escape Roxena's grasp.

"I remember clearly that time. You said that never think of running. Otherwise, the person you love will die. Today, I can finally reply to those words. Act well for that woman to be safe."

Erin followed from behind. Many guests have arrived. The first floor of the residence is used as a place for birthday parties to take place. Interior classic style dominates. The golden-colored chandelier adds to the impression of luxury.

The atmosphere was quite boisterous, silent as Roxena stepped her foot in. His expression turned cold while Gerald was flat.

Roxena looked at the man cynically. "I'm going home to my own house!"roxena said with emphasis. The man's face became displeased but he hid it behind a smile.

"Sister could have made his joke," he chuckled softly.

"Xena, you're coming. I'm very happy, " said Mr. Lawrence, looking at Roxena. A smile was etched on his lips.

Roxena nodded slowly. "Then, who is this guy next to you? Is he your partner?"asked Mr. Lawrence to look at Gerald, then looked at Erin asking for an answer first. Erin nodded.

"Mr-"

"Dad. I went home to collect your words, "Roxena said, pulling Gerald's hand out showing him the hard-earned wedding ring.

Mr. Lawrence's eyes rounded for a moment. Then master his surprise. "Xena, are you married? When and where? Why not tell Dad?"tanyanya gently. Roxena remained on her cold demeanor.

"Don't your message to Erin is I'm attending your birthday party with a partner? I've come and fulfilled your request. Now, keep your promise to me!"roxena said with great emphasis.

Gerald was looking at the situation. Is the reason Roxena married him a .. inheritance struggle?

"Call me Dad. You are my eldest son-in-law. Hahaha, welcome to the Lawrence family" said Mr. Lawrence, then hugging Gerald.

Roxena smiled faintly. "Dad, we can't just accept people being sons-in-law. Maybe you're worried about my return. So I decided to get married in a hurry. The identity of the man beside the older brother is not known clearly. Is Lawrence's family that easy for a stranger to enter, Dad?"

"What right do you have to talk here and question my decision, Benjamin? You should have reminded yourself. A child born out of infidelity will never inherit the Lawrence family. The only legitimate heir is I am. You don't have to worry about anything! Better worry yourself!!"toilet Roxena.

The guests who attended, will see the family drama. "My son-in-law, where are you from and what is your background? Then what's your job? Lawrence family really do have a background. But Xena is different. As long as he is happy, I have no problem with your background. I just ask that you take care of and love Xena wholeheartedly because I am. I am a failed father.
