The Story Of Jammetaria

The Story Of Jammetaria
CHAPTER 07 - Adventurers Guild

Morning in downtown Felicia.

Today is as crowded as ever where many people pass by. Moreover, those who worked as adventurers rushed towards the guild with their respective party members, because it just so happened that the guild's own location was close to the city center.

As planned the three of them will come to the guild today. As discussed yesterday now Audrey is waiting for the two of them right now, precisely in front of the Fountain in the middle of the city center.

As discussed yesterday, today they will be wearing their respective fighting equipment. As usual, Audrey only wears a witch's cloak and carries a broom as well as a long magic wand that she used to wear, while other items are stored in her storage magic. Audrey also plans to still sell even though it is not as often as before.

Not long after they both came, this time they brought their full equipment, unlike yesterday when they went to Audrey's house, they only brought makeshift equipment.

Hendry himself wearing a metal armor with a red base, carrying a large sword did not forget his strange iron horse. He seems to be a swordsman.

It is true that almost everyone in the world can use magic, but not everyone deserves to be called a witch. Those who could not use combat magic would usually choose swords, spears, arrows, and others as their main weapons.

Eliana used to wear a white suit that might be used by other female adventurers, wearing magic shoes and carrying two types of weapons in the form of a short magic wand about 30 cm and 2 pieces of daggers that look very sharp but seem rarely used.

After they all gathered they prepared to head for the guild, the distance from the city center to the guild itself was not too far away. After walking for a while they finally arrived.

From the outside, the guild building was indeed more prominent than the other buildings, there were still many people passing in and out of the guild and taking missions for their work.

After they entered into all the gazes eyes were fixed towards them then turned around and acted indifferent. This is common, especially for people who have just entered this guild for the first time.

Even so they do not look like beginners who are just starting because they already have enough capable weapons and equipment.

In the hall of the guild itself there were many wooden tables and chairs arranged in a circle like in a restaurant, with a bar that provided drinks and food for adventurers, and of course the request board that stretched wide on the guild wall, with many piles of paper stuck on it waiting to be picked up. Also several guild officers were working on his respective parts.

Most of the guild officers who worked here were female, there were also men but there seemed to be very few, at most only the guild head and who worked in the warehouse or exchange section.

The three of them headed for the reception and were greeted by a bespectacled guild attendant who was quite beautiful.

"Good morning can we help you ?"

"Ano.. We want to register in this guild." Answer Eliana

The attendant was a little surprised to think they were adventurers from another city.

"All right, please wait a minute."

While referring them to sit waiting in a chair.

Shortly after, a guild officer came to them, handing them some paper and stationery to fill in. The paper is a registration form as well as documents on guild terms and conditions and various other explanations.

They all filled out the paper in the form of basic identity, specialization of expertise, skill abilities owned but still allowed to keep a few secret, not to forget also the name of the party to be proposed.

After they thought further they proposed the name of the party. Now their Party name is the Grey Star. Then they read the documents carefully.

Some of the important points among others :

all the risks of working as an adventurer will be borne by yourself.

- Each party has a minimum of 3 members, given the dangers of working as an adventurer.

- It is strictly forbidden to break up party members to carry out different missions alone, if proven to violate will get a penalty from the guild.

every successfully completed mission must be reported to the guild to receive payment as well as promotion points to raise the rank

- to move up the ranking is not only based on promotional points, but there is also a minimum age that is applied, as well, it is aimed at getting the adventurer a real experience and really ready to move up the ranks higher.

- 10% of the income they earn through missions or requests will belong to the guild as an operating expense.

- There will be a cost for mission failure or mission cancellation, this is so that a group of parties does not carelessly take missions that they cannot complete and potentially endanger themselves and their party members.

- and others.

After they fill out the registration form and read the document they prepare to go to the next stage. They were invited into a closed room with the guild officer, there was a crystal ball that was able to measure the statistics of one's abilities or magic, although it could not provide a complete description of what skills were possessed.

After that the guild officer let them advance one by one.

"So who wants to start first ?" Audrey asked.

Eliana answered and placed her hand on the ball. The crystal ball was glowing and its magic energy was slightly sucked up then came the numbers.

"C55% ?...."

"Wah is quite high as well apparently, usually adventurers who just started like you average only reach D25%-C40%. " Said the guild officer with quite a smile.

The tool is able to measure the statistics of a person's abilities usually ranging from E, D, C, B, A, to S depending on a person's talent or how often he trains.

"You want Hendry first ?" Ask Audrey.

"No, the greatest is always the last time wkwkwkwkwkwk.." Hendry laughed with his PD.

"Judah if that's me first."

Audrey pressed all her strength and put her hand on the ball and hoped that the result would not be excessive.

And result…

C80%

thank goodness I made it, still in C

Audrey thought, even so the guild officer was still shocked and immediately determined.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS !!??… I've never seen anything this tall on a beginner like you !!!"

"Don't you be a genius, no…"

"Don't you not human !!!" The guild officer's gaze began to be suspicious and slightly masochistic towards Audrey.

"No, I just love to practice..." Audrey answered trying to dampen the officer's suspicions.

"Ah. haste."

"Next…."

"Hehehehe.. is now the greatest closing time…." Hendry answered confidently.

Damn…

D70%

His confidence was lost instantly, exchanging with a deep sense of disappointment as well as tears that wanted to flow.

Meanwhile, Audrey still continues to hold laughter in the back, Eliana tried to comfort her sister even though sometimes her head still turned back and laughed out loud.

After all the stages were completed next they just waited for their guild card so.

In the guild itself consists of 6 ranking systems to distinguish the ability as a minimum requirement to take missions, namely E, D, C, B, A, and S

After a while their guild cards were finished and they all started from C rank based on the accumulation of their stats. That was pretty good for beginners who had just officially joined the guild, most beginners usually started from level D.

The E rank itself has not been allowed to take most of the existing missions, and is only allowed to take simple missions such as collecting medicinal plants. Even so they were already officially registered in the guild and had an obligation to continue training under the supervision of the guild.

Ranking D and C are still beginners.

Ranking B and A themselves are classified as medium and high level, they will usually take missions that are more difficult than the C and D rank.

While the S rank could have been called a legend, they were able to take on extremely difficult missions and they were commonly called heroes. Even in this empire alone there were no more than 5 parties. Even so usually in each request paper there is usually a minimum ranking description to take the mission.

After all, the three of them went home and began their first mission tomorrow, because today most of the demand paper that exists has been taken.
