The Sweetest Harsh

The Sweetest Harsh
Episode-34 Returns Home

Tiara was packing, putting in the clothes and belongings she had brought to the hospital. Today is the last day Alfa is in direct care and supervision by doctors. Mild wounds that cut his skin have dried up, only heavy scratches in some parts of the body that still require bandage weights. However, the state of his shin that is cracked and still in the healing period makes Alfa must undergo several therapeutic steps, and it will do so starting next week.

“Sayang.” Alfa called Tiara, still with her eyes fixed on the laptop screen.

“Hmm.” Tiara replied with just a mutter while continuing her activity of packing things.

“Cabinets.” The man was still looking at the screen display he was about to show Tiara for various considerations. Alfa glanced at his wife for a moment when there was no answer. Her eyebrows shot up next to her as Tiara was busy folding her clothes without noticing the call from her. Ah, if only his legs were healthy, he would have stepped closer and hugged Tiara from behind.

“Tiara's. Here.” Alfa looked fully at him. The woman turned her head for a while and smiled and became busy with her activities.

“Iya. Wait a sec. I'm almost done.” He said as the folds of his last shirt fit into a large suitcase. He then cupped a zipper on the cover of the suitcase and pushed it to the end of the room.

“What's up?” Tiara looked straight at the screen where Alfa was looking. His eyes also scanned the images displayed with striking colors.

“Company by Leon. Which one do you think I should choose? I'll adjust to your wishes.” He said as he stroked his chin with his fingers.

“Oh, what is it for?” Tiara looked at Alfa questioningly.

“Banner opening my exhibition. Nice right? I was confused to choose. I asked for your opinion.”

Tiara sighs. “Should this be done immediately even if your condition is like this? Can't it be delayed? What if we finish your treatment first, then we talk about this problem again. Agree?” Staring at the unblinking Alfa looked at him. Oh, did he speak wrong? Why was her husband looking at her with a fierce look?

Wrongfully, Tiara finally lowered her head. “I want you to recover first. You certainly do not want to risk forcing yourself to do a photo session on a wheelchair, right? Rest up. I want you to really relax when you take your break.”

Alfa stunned. Tiara's words implied a double meaning to her. He has been very busy lately and Tiara has never objected. Is he thinking of himself or herself?

Alfa felt guilty for being so absorbed in her activities and ignored the Tiara she had always left alone in the house. While today, when he can be with his wife, he is in a state of sickness and Tiara has to take care and take his time. Oh, he really promised to spend more time on Tiara. After he recovers later.

Alfa. “Yes. Maybe I should think about it later.” Close the laptop and put it on the table. “Sorry, I'm still busy with work.” Smiling wryly.

“For your own good.” Tiara clasped Alfa's hand and smiled. “Because I care about you.” Patting the back of her husband's hand.

Alfa rubbed his wife's shoulder gently. “I want. I want you right now.” Alfa said it while squeezing his wife's long shoulders gently towards his nape. As fast as lightning, Alfa had already moved his head forward and pushed his wife's head so that the two met within the right distance. Finds two lips in a friendly motion. Full of spoiled kisses and in the increasingly long pagutan cultivate passion.

Unexpectedly, Davian had opened the door a little, bending his head when the two lovers were getting friendly there. The light-sounding door handle sound may not be heard, so Davian felt awkward when he had to close the door and make a louder sound. The man was stuck for a few seconds. Sighing his long breath, watching the romantic scene plastered for real before his eyes. He turned his head when the pain that he had been longing for suddenly raised his black hole into the heart.

“I interrupt? Ah, I'll be back later.” Davian was intending to turn his body back then.

“Davian.” It was Tiara who called out her name to make the man freeze.

“Sit.” The woman smiled then got down from Alfa's bed and sat down on the chair.

Alfa herself was rubbing her lips with elegant movements so as not to look nervous when it was known by others that she was desirous at that time. In his treatment room he shouldn't have done that.

Davian finally stepped up and sat in the middle of the sofa. “You're home today, aren't you? I'm offering you a ride home.” Saying with a smile. Observing the movements of Alfa and Tiara alternately.

Alfa raised an eyebrow with her lips folded as if thinking for a moment. “OK. Thank you.” Alfa said after weighing. Tiara would not want to smile and nod. Ah yes, the Alfa car must have been out of shape. Tiara shuddered to her own horror when imagining how devastating the accident happened and she got more goosebumps when imagining the picture of Alfa being wedged in the car cabin before police and medics rescued her. She recalled the night she was agitated waiting for her husband to come home.

I don't know what will happen to him, when that night he finds out that Alfa is dying outside the city far from his reach. Grateful good fortune still wants him to continue life to this day. Alfa must be sad because her red car was the result of her labor worked for some time.

Tiara sat in the back seat of Davian's car which was traveling at a constant speed. Alfa sat in the front seat, while Davian placed himself quietly behind the wheel. Alfa really came home this time. There was a sense of happiness that had filled Tiara's heart when today the man would return home. Indeed, good prayers are hope and a great magnet. There are impossibilities that become possible, and there are possibilities that become impossible. Enough time just a few hours actually for Alfa can arrive at home, but fate says another. From a few hours to a few weeks are examples of improbability that Tiara initially argued. But in the end, he was grateful. There are good things that may indeed have to start with a painful event, so that the heart will be more sincerely accepting of the goodness.

“It looks like the exhibition will be postponed until I can actually walk normally.” Alfa opens the conversation. Breaking the silence that airs between them.

Davian looked at it for a moment. “Yes. So much better. I haven't talked about the dates and months when it will be held for sponsors. So, you can calm down.”

Alfa nodded thinly. “Maybe you and Leon can vacuum for a while. I don't know when I can touch my hand to get back on the field. I'll let you know when the time is right.”

“Tak problems.” Davian answered briefly as he continued to look ahead. He felt relieved and anxious. Unexpectedly Alfa would imply a subtle expulsion upon her by uttering the sentence. However, on the other hand, he wanted to continue to be beside Tiara. Accompanying the difficult days when it comes to taking care of Alfa alone. Ah, he really felt dirty by having such thoughts, but undeniably, the familial relationship between the Alfa and Tiara families made him sympathetic. Yep. Davian hoped it was just sympathy.

Davian's car stops right in front of Tiara's garage. Quickly, he got out of the car and headed for the trunk. Take the folded wheelchair there and place it next to the exit where Alfa is sitting.

Tiara quickly got out of the cabin and helped her husband to change seats, filling him up until he could sit comfortably. Davian then picked up the suitcase and items that Tiara had originally placed there and brought them to the porch of the house.

Tiara started pushing the wheelchair until a moment later, her steps came to a halt when she saw the figure of a middle-aged woman standing opening the door. Silent and glued to his place as if welcoming their return.

Who her?
