Episode 59 - Request

Carina.

Tiara clenched her two eyes tightly, dispelling the annoying shock that had just melted her. The woman then took a deep breath and slowly directed her gaze at the blond woman with blue sapphire eyes.

“You startled me,”.

“Sorry Tiara. I was going to see you, but I didn't know that you weren't in the treatment room,” she said with a wry smile. Karina feels guilty because she is the cause of Tiara having to undergo treatment after the woman fainted at a restaurant a few days ago. However, he did not dare to come to visit him immediately, afraid that Tiara would return in shock.

“For what? I already know everything,” reply. “I have something to take inside,” Tiara opened the door behind her, leaving Karina still in her place. “Tiara! Wait a minute!” Karina followed in a brisk walk behind Alfa's wife. When the reach of his hand had managed to hold Tiara's hand, the two finally stopped their steps forcefully.

“I have to take my mom home. I didn't have much time, they must have been waiting for me,” her door with a ruffled tone and a wrinkled face when Karina turned out to be so persistent as to invite her to speak.

“Just a minute, please.” The model woman with a posture two centimeters higher than Tiara was welding, appearing to plead with all earnestness until finally, Tiara closed her eyes for a moment and let out a long breath. Ease all forms of emotions that suddenly hit his heart.

There are many possibilities that can happen, even though I am trying to convince myself and optimistic that all this will be resolved well,” he said in a hoarse voice. “What is your guarantee that you can assure me that you will not betray me?” shouted Tiara with a restless tone.

Tiara looked away. The traumatic event he experienced when Nelly almost harmed Alfa made it difficult to trust the woman who wanted to be close to her husband. Alfa exhaled violently after getting a report from Leon that Tiara and Karina had just met. There was so much work that he had to do right now that it was so draining his mind and energy. Several times he got a call from an unknown number who booked a date on his team of photographers to queue up photos on them. The opening day of the exhibition was getting closer, twenty-four hours felt very less for him to busy lately.

Shaking the phone again interrupts concentration. Until several times the ring, the call was ignored just like making his work desk also vibrate. He glimpsed through the tail of his eyes that the one who called him this time was his Mama.

"Who? Answer, who knows is important," Dony who was sitting opposite the Alpha was pausing his activities in front of the laptop, paying attention with question marks, Alfa who this time ignored the phone call.

"Wait first. Mama just wanted to ask, did you really invite Karina to the opening ceremony of your exhibition?"

As she had expected, Helmia actually asked that.

"Yes. What's up?" Alfa answered quickly.

"Goodoo. Karina is one of a series of famous models that can be your inspiration in many ways. She's a good woman too. Mama's happy to hear you're getting close and inviting her to your important event" she wrote.

Helmia wanted to be sure, hearing through Alfa's own mouth the good news she didn't want to miss. And he was really happy because Karina had done a good job.

"Does Mama have free time and can come to my show?" The man said as he closed his laptop screen.

"Of course mom will be there" he said steadily.

"good. Thank ye. See you tomorrow," said Alfa in a phone call accompanied by murmurs that became Helmia's answer to the man's words.

Silence later when the phone call was over. Alfa then stood up and pushed the flash onto Dony's desk.

"I've finished everything. The JPG, PNG, and client request schedule files have been transferred to it. I'll go home first." Alfa smiled and stepped out of the study when it was dark waiting for her outside the building.

"okay." Dony took the small object and plugged it into the laptop in front of him.

Alfa stepped foot in the direction of the car she parked in the corner of the basement. At first glance he noticed the watch that was worn on his left wrist. Oh, I don't think time has shown at half-seven in the night. Nearly twelve hours the man left Tiara. I hope that woman is okay.

The alarm on his phone suddenly lit up when almost the man squeezed his Fast Key. Regular check-up day to Doctor Jeni. Ah, yes, he had almost forgotten such an important thing because of his busyness. Tomorrow he will be sure to bring his wife to check the content before the day after tomorrow he will be busy again with the preparation of his exhibition.

After the car engine was on, Alfa immediately stepped on the gas pedal and drove fast towards her home, impatient to take off the fatigue that was peppered by the longing that always accompanied her every time she came home from work.
