25. The Unexpected attack

An adventurer was on his way to the city. But his journey stopped once he saw a horse carriage that was attacked by forest monsters.

The adventurer kindly helped the people in the carriage by helping to defeat the monsters. Everyone was happy to be saved by the adventurers who happened to pass by.

As a result, those people offered help. Although adventurers say if there is no need to give anything in return, but they continue to force.

“At least have dinner with us.” pinta the leader of the train troupe.

Feeling uneasy about rejecting the offer, the adventurer finally accepted the request of the person who wanted to thank him.

After launching his attack the dwarf creature immediately fled into the bushes no matter the target was killed or not. Then they attacked again from an unexpected direction.

“Fuck Goddamn it, out you fucking cowards!.”

Soni, Teddy's right-hand man, frantically shoots at the dwarves, but his every shot hits the target because the creature's movement is so fast and agile.

But luck suddenly came to him.

In the final shot, Soni manages to hit one of the dwarf creatures.

Soni was so happy that her shot finally managed to guess the target. However an oddity ensued, the creature exploded into purple liquid once killed.

Gary who saw the gun in Soni's hand became so emotional. He suspects that the previous old man's shooter was Soni.

Overpowered by anger, Gary intends to attack Soni, but his injured body makes Gary unable to walk.

Gary continued to look at Soni hatefully, then suddenly...
