Fireworks exploded in the sky, revealing beautiful colors like blooming flowers. Light shines on the upper village, a place filled with cheer and excitement as the festival progresses.
On a podium made in the middle of the village, dozens of Healers sang in the choir.
““The sun fell on the devil's nest, the destroyer came to end the battle...””.
The lyrics of the song that the Healers sang contained the story of our fight against the giant ant colony. It was so embarrassing that I wanted to cover my ears and cover my face with a crackle bag.
Unlike me, Arang actually looks to enjoy again brought by the Healers. The sound of applause was heard throughout the village as the Healers ended their stage.
No matter the race of monsters or humans, everyone mingled enjoying the party. Although worry can still be seen on the faces of the refugees, but I believe that it will soon disappear over time.
“I didn't think you would make a lot of games in this place.” I commented on the many game kiosks that are usually in the amusement park.
“I'm trying to make everyone enjoy the party.” Arang retorted as his gaze glared far away, I think he was remembering something that happened in his past.
The two of us are currently on the balcony of the city Hall building with Queen Goblin and the head of the Exiles village. From the balcony we can see the people who are celebrating the festival in the middle of the village.
“I did not expect to see this kind of atmosphere again after the great disaster.” said Mr. Sugeng. He was very grateful to Arang for helping him survive after escaping the city.
“It feels good that the help I give means something to you and everyone.” Arang replied while sipping tea.
He looked so elegant, from the way he took the cup to sticking the fringe of the cup to his lips.
Although he was currently only a Villager, but his movements were so smooth and ethical made everyone who saw so fascinated.
He was like a noble full of honor. Goblone looked at Arang with admiration. I can see the inscription 'She is the true Queen' engraved in her eyes.
Charcoal's attention then turned to Goblone which instantly made the Goblin Queen stiff. The panic and anxiety made him so nervous when dealing with Arang.
Charcoal gave me a smile that I could not understand. “You look healthy Goblone.”
“Ah, yes noble.” her voice is brick because of the nervousness she is experiencing.
“But why do I feel you have not experienced any development? Didn't I tell you not to be lazy?.”
Goblone's face instantly turned pale as if all the blood in his body had been drained. The goblin was so panicked that his body started shivering.
Goblone did not know what he had to say, for the past three months he had indeed been lacking in self-training. Yet he did that not out of laziness but there was a reason behind it.
“That must be because Goblone is more focused on training his troops is not it?.” I entered in the conversation.
“Oh really?.” Arang looked at me as if he said ‘Where do you know?’.
“Maybe it was also because the Goblins were protecting our village.” The head of the Exile village came to give an excuse.
I think the relationship of the Goblins and humans being so good in the Exile village is because of this old man.
According to Mr. Sugeng about a month and a half ago some humans came to visit the village of Exiles. The residents greeted them kindly, at first everything went well until the guests showed their real faces.
Hearing the name Genk Karbon made all the citizens frightened, they remember if the bandits who attacked them after leaving the city came from Genk Karbon.
The citizens were unable to resist until Genk Karbon freely took over the entire village. Under Genk Karbon's control, the citizens live in misery.
All crops that were food reserves were confiscated, while the citizens were forced to work hard without being given proper food. But luckily the power of the Carbon Genk did not last long.
Five days after the Outcast village was occupied by Genk Karbon, the Goblin troops who came to check were shocked by the very alarming state of the village.
Goblone who thought if the residents of the Outcast village were protected by Arang finally decided to provide assistance, until finally the battle was inevitable.
“The fight happened so fast. The goblin nest army is like a storm, flying on a skateboard, exterminating evil humans and freeing all citizens from slavery.” Mr. Sugeng told me very excitedly.
“Wah, isn't that a very interesting story.” I said.
“Actually not that great, Mr. Sugeng just exaggerates it.” Bakas Goblone rather shy.
“Don't like to go low like the old guys. I believe the story of the liberation of the Exile village won better than the story of the conquest of the ant colony.” Charcoal chimed in.
Hearing his story juxtaposed with the story of the appearance of the mountain guards made Goblone panic, he immediately got up from his seat and said.
“I... that is not true, there is no way that the story of the Goblin troops who carried out the massacre of the weak Bandits can be equated with the sacred story of the god of war and the mountain guard!.”
Goblone denied in a loud voice until residents who were enjoying the festival heard his voice. He looked so panicked that he almost cried.
“Te.... rest easy Goblone, we are just kidding.” I tried to calm him down and asked him to sit back.
Although I actually agree more that the story of Goblone is told than the story of myself who went berserk. The reason is very simple, which is because telling is too embarrassing.
“Mr Sugeng can I ask you something?.”
“Of course, you are free to ask and I will answer with what I know.” reply sir Sugeng.
I asked him about the young man who had built the houses the citizens used it blocks from me. Hearing the question made the look on Mr. Sugeng's face become so complicated..
“What happened to the young man?.” Sugeng's psk attitude intrigued me.
“The young man was named Dirga, he was my own grandson. Three months ago she went to town to look for her incident.” Mr. Sugeng said the information I already knew.
“Then now?..” I stopped and thought then went back on, "Until now there's no news from him right?." Mr. Sugeng nodded in response.
The old man who had reached sixty years old was looking at me suspiciously, he must be wondering why I was looking for his granddaughter. I also gave my real reason if I wanted to learn some things from that young man.
“Learn?.”
“Yes, I'm sure your grandson has knowledge about these boxes.”
