56. Purpose of the Expedition

Moving from the refuge, I and the Arang troops went up the mountain. Several times the monsters came to head our way, but ended up so short.

“Smart dogs, you came just to be my practice guinea pig, not.”

Five dogs that were actually wolves came to head our way. Arang who was about to try the strength of the Wizards was happy because there was no need to look for outside monsters as his training target.

Knowing that the situation of the Goblins is getting cornered, I also intend to bring down the Archers and Goblin Assassins. But Arang put my plan in check.

“Only those who managed to escape the difficult times are entitled to the gift.” said Arang.

The words of my friend made me realize that the Goblin leaders did not interfere so much in the fight. Goblone seemed to just watch while occasionally providing a little help.

That was because Arang asked Goblone not to interfere much in the fight because he wanted to see the strength of the Goblins.

But I feel that's not the only thing Arang planned. I feel like he's using the Goblins for something else.

“The Goblin squad you brought is not so bad.” praise Arang after seeing the fight of the Goblins under Goblone who have managed to defeat the entire army of wolves.

Although the victory of the small battle was on the side of the Goblin army, but the resulting losses were also large. Many goblins were injured by wolf attacks, some of them could not survive longer because they suffered fatal injuries.

But Arang and Goblone seemed to not care about the condition of the wounded goblin warrior. They looked so calm even though the Goblins were different from the troops from the Class off Clans that could be propagated easily.

Their calm attitude is not without reason.

If the Goblone participated in the battle then not many Goblin troops were injured, as a result Arang may not be satisfied with the results provided by the forces of Healer.

Using his own subordinates to become a guinea pig was in my opinion a cruel act, but Arang seemed to assume it was something natural.

“Don't use the human mindset that lives in a peaceful world, the world is now very different. You have to be cruel in order to survive.” said Arang after seeing the worries I felt.

Maybe he's right.

I don't know what the world has become after the meteor disaster.

That year did make me very curious.

Therefore I want to get down from the mountain immediately to see the city.

But before that I need a body that looks better than the Avatar worm. The body of the T-X robot is the best option, but it takes a battery to use it.
