26. Nice Try

After making sure all the members of Genk Karbon were incapacitated, Charcoal approached the youth who became the MVP of the first group.

“You all right?.” asked Charcoal just a pleasantries.

Yet...

“Keep away, are you blind to not seeing my current state!.” Gary gave a very rude answer.

Arang was quite surprised to find such an answer from someone he had just saved. But Arang quickly understood Gary's feelings when he watched the man for longer.

With a limp Gery walked over to the victims on his side, one of whom was his own grandfather who was killed by Soni's shot right in the head.

‘Too big grief as a result of many people killed. Maybe now they won't thank me for all this .’ thought Arang.

As someone who had experienced bad things, Arang little understood the feelings of those who had just gotten calamity.

Compared to thanking, people who are sad will actually blame the helper.

They will think ‘If only you had come earlier.’ and blamed his bad luck on no one giving help in time.

Arang wouldn't blame Gary for behaving that way. He then asked his troops to return to the factory because it was getting dark, while Arang himself remained with the group.

“Please, anyone help me!.”

Soni is the only surviving member of the Carboniferous Genk. The injuries to his hands and feet from the arrow attack made Soni unable to move.

Hearing the cry for help from Soni made Gary's emotions finally unbearable. With a bone hammer in his hand the young man was about to avenge his grandfather's death.

“You really want to do that just out of spite?.” asked Arang.

“You think there's a better reason to kill someone than revenge?.” Gary replied to Arang's question by asking back.

Soni starts laughing when she sees Gary coming to her with a big bone in his hand.

“Ahahahaha... uhuk uhuk..” the blood in his mouth makes Soni's laughter stop.

“What are you laughing at right?.” Gary's anger is getting bigger.

“Agh... ahaha. But you better not do it, loser.”

Despite knowing that Gary intends to kill him, Soni is still calm. I don't know what made him so confident.

“Indeed what if I did?.” with a darkening gaze, Gary asked.

“Cih, what kind of look are you showing me, asshole!. Dare you look at me like.. giyaaa!.”

Can't stand all the meaningless speech that comes out of Soni's mouth. With a bat in his hand, Gary smashed the man's leg.

“Say, what happens if I kill you?.” Gary asked back forcefully.

“You die, you will die bastard.” umpat Soni.

Brak! Another hit hit Soni's hand, smashing the bone of her right arm. The man's screams broke again.

“You think I'm afraid of your rotten threat?.” Gary kept beating Soni blindly.

“Fak Fak faaaaak, you'll pay him a jerk. All your families I will kill before your eyes!.”

As if there was no fear in her, Soni continued to pose her threat. He seemed to not care about his own life. Everything he said made Gary even more angry and strengthened his desire to kill himself.

“You've done it.” Gary's tooth fell off, he's withholding his teachings.

“Hah?.”

“You just killed my last family in front of my eyes.”

Gary lifted a large bone over his head. Seeing that Soni was so panicked because she realized that the next target of the blow was her fist.

Soni knew that she would die instantly if the blow crushed her fist.

“If this loser kills me, the entire Carbon Genk group will be targeting you all. You're all going to die!.”

Aware of not being able to get Gary to stop the action. Soni tries to scare everyone, hoping those who don't want to die will stop Gary.

But despite the fear of the Carbon Genk, no one dared to bother Gary at this time. The man's anger is more they fear than Genk Carbon.

“Damn it!” realizing that no one would move to help her, Soni began to panic.

After repeatedly avoiding death, Soni thinks she has invisible armor that will protect her from death.

The plot of Armor is owned by the main characters in the novel and film stories.

Yep, the man thinks that he is the main character in this world.

Since the world changed due to the fall of the meteor, Soni's belief has grown stronger. He thought it was time for him to shine, live out his destiny to rule the world.

He joined the Carbon Genk to start over. But it all ended like this...

“Did I choose the wrong option?.”

Soni's gaze was fixed on the bone hitter swinging to her face.

Then he started smiling.

“Nice try, next time I'll go inside the evacuation.”

Braak! Like a mashed tomato, Soni's head shattered. No one knew what his last words meant.

Along with Soni's death, the eyes of the day had sunk in the western horizon.
