"Are you really going to cancel your wedding?" ask Jimmy about his friend.
"Hmm, there is no marriage" Marco said with a laugh but his laughter sounded strange. It was like he was just pretending to be okay. But he was still worried about all that.
"You sure? What if it's your son. Are you gonna let him live without a father?"
"I'll be responsible even without marrying her if it's my son. And again mamah liked him so much, he couldn't possibly let his granddaughter just like that. I know you must have thought of everything, what he should do after this." Marco drank the liquor in his glass. "Now I can come back as usual, have fun with the women. I also do not need to hide anymore because you already know what I'm doing" said Marco. He was already a little drunk after drinking a few glasses.
"Look at him, and I took him for us to drink together, but he almost spent it all. He's like that but he says he doesn't have a problem with the wedding cancellation."
Marco continued to spend his drink until he was not left and got drunk afterwards. He had just woken up in the afternoon. His head felt throbbing when he woke up and cursed to blame his friend who had brought the liquor into the office.
*****.
...
The day changed, the marriage that had been carefully planned and the preparations were also ninety percent completely canceled. Luckily they have not announced it to the public so there is not too much chaos going on.
Until now, Marco did not know what the next mama's plan was. After that day they never had another long conversation. Ayunda seemed to really prove his words. He rarely reprimanded his son first if not for a meal or other small thing. They were no longer as warm as they used to be and Marco felt like he was missing all that.
This weekend Marco deliberately spent time at home so that he had a lot of time with his parents. Because the papah is not much different from his mother. The man also stayed away from Marco because of his wife although there was still more attention the papah had on him secretly if there was no wife.
Marco woke up a little afternoon because he had no activities today and had already decided to stay at home. He wants to mend his relationship with his mother and father and talk about the woman. Marco has decided to marry the woman even if he does not want to, he will try to change if it makes his mother happy.
"Hoaamm." Marco got out of bed and went to the bathroom to clean himself up.
After getting ready with his casual clothes he came out of the room. Intended to find his mama to chat and spoiled because Marco had long missed him. The figure of the mama who always calms him and makes him comfortable.
However, when he went downstairs Marco found no one. There are only servants doing their work. Mamah and papah are not visible when usually on weekends they will spend time lazing just in the family room.
"Do you want breakfast now? Let aunt prepare." A servant approached Marco.
The man's eyes were still searching around looking for the whereabouts of his parents.
"Are you looking for the Master and the Madam?"
"Yes, where are they bi?" ask Marco.
"Do you know where they're going?" marco asked curiously.
Aunt seemed hesitant to say it but her mistress also did not forbid her from saying anything to her young master. So it doesn't matter if he says where they're going.
"Bi, did aunt hear me?"
"That's sir, they went to the house that was at the end of the street" said the aunt.
"Who's house is bi, is there an event there but why mamah brought his cuisine there. Does your aunt know whose house it is?"
"Emm it .. it's the house that Miss Mishel and her mother lived in." Aunty felt bad saying that, she didn't know if what she said was true.
Marco pegged for a while, what this was his plan to bring them to live close to them.
"Will breakfast be prepared now sir?"
"Later Bi, I'm gonna go out for a second." Marco rushes off to see for himself what it is that they are living there as aunt says.
His bad thoughts regained control of Marco, thinking that the woman was very cunning now. After she doesn't manage to get Marco to marry her now she takes her parents' sympathies to get what they want. Now they have got a house that is even as luxurious as the one where both parents live.
"What a big deal he is" said Marco. He drove his car to the house that aunt showed him. There he saw his mother and papa coming out of there along with the woman and her mother.
"They really don't want to lose, after this they want to let alone. What thought would take papah's treasure using that fetus."
Meanwhile, Mishel and her mother only occupied the house for a day. At first they certainly refused because they did not want to be considered taking advantage of Mishel's pregnancy. They did intend to move because it was impossible to stay in such circumstances but they had absolutely no intention to trouble Ayunda and her husband. In the end they agreed because Ayunda pleaded. The woman said she wanted to take responsibility for her grandchildren and hoped they would not reject what she gave her grandchildren.
"Thank you, ma'am, we were a hassle. You definitely have to get up early to cook breakfast when it's the weekend" said Fira's mother.
"It's okay, Ma'am, I'm happy to be cooking for Mishel and Mbak. We can also have breakfast together and more. Is that Pah?" Ayunda asked her husband.
"Say my wife, we're happy to have breakfast with you."
Mishel also enjoyed having breakfast together like this. Although she still felt nauseous and Ayunda painstakingly helped her while vomiting in the bathroom. Though he had prevented it but the woman still kekeuh want to help Mishel. She was grateful that her son would have grandparents who loved her.
