The Unacknowledged Seed

The Unacknowledged Seed
I don't want to be a gossip

They were supposed to promise to meet half again but out of curiosity, Marco had already come first to the place where they would meet. A coffee shop near the company. Marco had waited and repeatedly looked at the clockwork. Thirty minutes later, the woman he was waiting for did not come.

"Why he hasn't come yet, I should have picked him up instead of me waiting like this" she said. He was really curious about what Mishel wanted to talk about.

After a while of waiting finally Mishel came as well. He came by taxi. Her protruding stomach was already unable to be covered despite using loose clothing. The woman walked slowly to the cafe. Marco saw it and immediately confirmed the sitting position and inhaled as much air to reduce his nervousness. He had also prepared the reason why he could be there first.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were here. If I had known, I would have come early" Mishel said.

"It's okay, sit down. Coincidentally I had a meeting outside so all of you stopped by here rather than going back and forth to the office" said Marco, yes the reason it looks very natural. He's been preparing it since. "Ah yeah, what do you want to drink?" tanyanya.

"Just if there is," said Mishel.

"All right, I'll order it. Just a minute." Marco hurriedly ordered a glass of juice and coffee as well as two waffles to accompany their drinks.

They sat facing each other awkwardly, both of them still silent. Marco could not wait to hear what the woman wanted to say. He wet his lips many times to reduce his nervousness.

"Eheemm, how are you?" marco began the conversation. He was confused to call the baby in Mishel's stomach how, if calling it your baby seems to sound so evil like Marco didn't want it at all. But calling him our baby is more unlikely because Marco was ashamed and unworthy.

"We're fine."

That answer was quite a relief at least there was no problem with them. But then Marco remembered his mother's words that it should have been time for Mishel to give birth but until now there was no sign of the baby wanting to come out into this world.

"Good." Marco then drank his coffee.

"Sir, I actually mean to invite you to meet because I want to ask you something?" ask Mishel.

Marco was serious about hearing that. "Tell me what you want to ask."

"It's about a fetus that's in my stomach. Until now I have not felt any signs of giving birth. Maybe you won't believe it but I think maybe he feels if his presence in this world is not wanted by his father. That's why he's still hiding in my stomach. I'm sorry if what I'm talking about is weird. Let's just say I'm crazy and I'm not ashamed. Can I ask you something?" ask Mishel. She was very embarrassed but this was all for the sake of the child in her womb.

Marco pensively heard the woman's words, he realized his outrageous mistake and rejected the boy's presence ever since he found out. It was obvious that many people were already advising him.

"Tell me what your request is" said Marco. Even if the woman in front of him was now asking for all his property he would give up the origin of Marco still have a chance to make amends by keeping them going.

"Can you tell me if you love this child and can't wait to meet him. It's just pretend, but if you mind I won't force it. I—"

"I want to" cut Marco.

Mishel smiled faintly at it. Eventually her prospective son could feel the affection of his father even though it was just pretend.

"Thank you." Mishel to tears. This is what you want, son, your father has come. Come out soon if you want to meet your q, your mother and father and Oma, opa and grandma. Mishel monologued with her heart.

The two were struck by nervousness again as, confused as to how to get started.
