11. Ethan Chases Werewolves In The Crowd

Ethan remains alert, paying attention to every movement and expression around him. He knows that this situation is very dangerous, especially if Vincent, the werewolf he had faced before, was among the protesters.

While Miss Amelia and the demonstrators continued to speak, Ethan felt his heartbeat quicken. He does not want to take premature action or attract unnecessary attention. However, he also knew that if a werewolf attack really did occur, he would have to be ready to act.

Ethan tries not to show his tension or suspicion to Miss Amelia or the protesters. He stood upright behind Miss Amelia, remaining focused on his duties as a personal bodyguard, while still monitoring any movements around her.

A few minutes passed, and the atmosphere between Miss Amelia and the demonstrators grew more peaceful. They seem to be really engaged in constructive discussions on environmental issues. However, Ethan does not feel confident that the threat has passed.

Suddenly, among the crowd of demonstrators, there was a person who suddenly tried to push into the fence of the building. She looked angry and tried to approach Miss Amelia loudly.

Ethan moved quickly. With trained reflexes, he jumped between Miss Amelia and the person. With one swift move, Ethan restrains the man, preventing him from approaching Miss Amelia.

"Don't go near Miss Amelia!" ethan said firmly, while maintaining his position between Miss Amelia and the person.

The man looked at Ethan with eyes full of anger. Suddenly, with his right hand turned into a claw, he tried to attack Ethan. Ethan managed to dodge the attack nimbly and pulled out the silver-plated blade he had prepared.

This attack immediately attracted the attention of the demonstrators and Miss Amelia. They let out a voice of surprise and panic. Miss Amelia shouted, "Ethan, be careful!"

Ethan confronts the man, who is now clearly identified as a werewolf even though the changes are limited to his hands. Ethan nimbly manages to knock his knife on the claws of the werewolf that pounced on him. The wrist was severed with blood pouring down on the ground. He did not attack further. He just stood in his place, but did not continue the attack. It seems that he did not continue his attack on Miss Amelia as he saw Ethan who was ready with a silver knife in his hand. He seems to still be quite ingenious since his head has not turned into a werewolf yet. His intelligence is still the normal intelligence of humans who still count see his enemy is ready with a silver knife that can kill him.

Ethan's attention is distracted by a protester who is about to approach Miss Amelia. Apparently the guy just wanted to join the dialogue with Miss Amelia. Ethan releases his handrails on the man's arm. As Ethan looked towards the werewolf, the werewolf escaped in the crowd. Ethan goes after her with a knife in his hand. Ethan doesn't want to let him get away with an already wounded enemy. He still remembered his grudge against the werewolves who had already slaughtered all his men.

"Ethane ... Ethan ... Don't pursue! Remember your duty as my bodyguard!"

Miss Amelia yells out to Ethan. Miss Amelia doesn't want to be left behind by Ethan without an escort. There is still a lot ahead of the company. He still does not feel safe at the moment.

Ethan, who was chasing a werewolf in the crowd, stopped in his tracks and heard Miss Amelia call him. She was aware that it was impossible to leave Miss Amelia alone at this moment. It could be that in the middle of the demonstrators there are still werewolves who infiltrate or demonstrators who intend evil. Ethan cannot leave his main job. Ethan finally sheathes his knife back and returns to Miss Amelia's place.

Miss Amelia and the demonstrators were unaware that there was a werewolf in their midst. They were shocked and frightened that someone was intending to attack, but no one realized that it was a werewolf because it happened so quickly. None of the demonstrators felt they knew him. The coordinators of the demonstrators considered him an intruder who wanted to provoke the situation. They are more supportive of the dialogue with the company.

Ethan also remains calm, avoiding further confrontation with the werewolf. He understands that not all protesters are a threat. Most of them really wanted to voice their aspirations.

Several representatives of environmental activists submitted their complaints to Ms. Amelia. Miss Amelia patiently tried to listen to her grievances and figure out a way to resolve her problems without violence.

The situation remained tense, but at least there were no further attacks. Only the tension of dissent between Miss Amelia and the representatives of the demonstrators was visible. After a while the peaceful dialogue continued, and an agreement began to take place. Miss Amelia promised to meet some of the protesters' demands that still make sense. Some representatives of the demonstrators will also be allowed to periodically inspect the company's operations as a surveillance measure.

The atmosphere began to subside and demonstrators gradually dispersed. The loud sounds of protest began to fade, and the crowd slowly dwindled. Ethan observes carefully, making sure there are no suspicious actions from the demonstrators.

Ethan still maintained his vigilance even though the situation had changed. He realized that danger could come from many directions, including from within the crowd. However, at the moment, the focus is on the smooth process of dissolution of the demonstrators and ensuring there is no immediate threat to Miss Amelia.

After some time, the crowd finally stopped shouting and conveyed his demands. They started to leave the area and return to their respective lives. Ethan and Miss Amelia return to the building, relieved that the situation has been brought under control. The two of them pondered about this incident and how complex the environmental issues they were facing were.

Miss Amelia looked at Ethan with a sharp look. "What kind of bodyguard escapes in a crucial moment? You have no responsibility at all. Next time I'll fire you if I dare to leave me again."

Ethan nodded obediently and realized that his mistake had to be taken as a lesson. She did not want Miss Amelia to doubt her dedication as a personal bodyguard.

Ethan smiled wryly, "Sorry my attention was distracted. And I promise I won't repeat it." Ethan found it pointless to defend himself. For him, this was his fault as a bodyguard. Ethan has also begun to understand the nature of his superiors.

They return to Miss Amelia's study to continue their work, while realizing that this environmental issue requires serious attention and collaboration from all sides. However, the atmosphere in the room remained tense. Ethan feels the need to figure out how to repair their relationship after this incident. He knows that professionalism and trust are key in his work. If he gets fired then his mission fails instantly.

Late in the afternoon, in the stillness of the office, he approached Ethan, who was sitting still, and gently kissed him on the cheek.

Ethan was a little surprised by this unexpected action. However, he could sense that it was a sincere expression from Miss Amelia. She smiled and looked at Miss Amelia warmly.

Miss Amelia whispered, "Thank you, Ethan. Take me home now!"

Ethan feels warm in his heart hearing Miss Amelia's words. She replied humbly, "Together, Miss Amelia." Ethan stands up and walks out of the building ahead of Miss Amelia to retrieve Miss Amelia's car.
