THE WEREWOLF MAFIA HUNT

THE WEREWOLF MAFIA HUNT
27. The Brothers In Arms

Big Mike glimpsed at the tattoo on Ethan's arm with a look of wonder. The picture was very familiar to him even though he only saw it at a glance. The Tatoo reminds Big Mike of a dark past, a unit of soldiers similar to his own. A special unit that operates outside the bounds of the law, under the control of the government in a task that should not be known to the public. The image of the tatoo is a symbol of their unity, an identifying mark that only elite members of the unit possess.

Big Mike, seemingly beginning to ponder about his past, raises his hand and shouts at his men who have been scattering all over the bar. "Everyone, out! Let this young man finish his business alone with me."

"Do you all have hearing problems? Should I say my orders over and over again? This young man won't dare hurt me again." Big Mike saw his men still reluctant to leave the room. His men seemed unwilling to leave himself alone with a dangerous enemy.

Big Mike's men, already quite shocked by the incident, bowed to their leader's orders and began to break out of the bar. Even the old bartender comes out letting Big Mike be alone with Ethan. After a while, the bar became quiet, with only Ethan and Big Mike sitting in the corner.

"Young people sit down!" Big Mike invites Ethan to sit in the corner of a ruined bar. Ethan puts his gun on the table and sits down next to Big Mike.

"You... What's your connection to that tattoo?" Big Mike asked in a trembling voice, his expression changing from arrogance to indecision.

Ethan calmly replies, "I'm part of that unit, just like you. But now I'm working alone on a secret mission to avenge the death of our brothers. I need information about the organ trafficking mafia who took organs from this woman." Ethan shows a picture of Jennifer on his phone.

Big Mike, who is no longer threatening, remains cautious. He nodded, "We both come from that unit, and I understand about this union. You don't misunderstand my group because we didn't kidnap that woman! Earlier this morning when we were passing in front of the factory by chance heard people screaming for help. We stopped and responded but he was already put in a car by the organ trafficking mafia."

"We didn't help her because she felt she was someone else and had nothing to do with us. We also do not want to quarrel with the mafia because we have several times handed over our enemies to them for their organs in exchange for money. You certainly know we as a gang also have enemies and also need money for our lives. We have nothing to do but that."

Ethan nodded in respect. "Thank you for the information, Big Mike. The kidnapped woman was Jennifer, an employee of the company I work for now. Actually he's been found but I intend to take back the kidney that belongs to him. He cannot work again if one of his kidneys is not returned. Do you know where their hiding place is?"

"I once gave my enemies who were unconscious to them in a mental hospital on the outskirts of town. The hospital just seems to be for camouflage because I don't have any patients there." Big Mike shows the location point on a map on his phone to Ethan.

"Can you take me and help me reclaim Jennifer's kidney? I'm alone and need extra people." Ethan looked at Big Mike with a hopeful look. Ethan wants to find someone to distract his enemy.

Big Mike looked at Ethan seriously. " I'm sorry Brother, I've finished my service. Nor do I want to bring my men into dangerous work without pay. That's all I can give you."

Big Mike is shocked to hear of Ethan's revenge plan against the mobsters who killed their men in the same unit. He felt the soul thrust of his corsa surge upon hearing this.

Big Mike took a deep breath and finally nodded, "Okay, I'll help you. But I know our unit is not a unit that has a lot of money, our unit will not pay me anything for this mission. You don't have to pay us."

Ethan smiled kindly, "It's not me and our unit that will pay you. The mafia will pay you. You and your men can help me get their attention by making me your enemy that we want to sell his organs to. It was a way to enter the place without suspicion. Didn't you just say you sold your enemy's organs to them?!"

Big Mike agreed. "That's a good plan. But this will be very dangerous for you. You will be alone in a condition bound inside the hospital to be examined and operated on, while we can only wait for the money to be paid outside. They have guards armed with long barrels to prevent outside interference. We'd be hard-pressed to help you if you needed help inside." Big Mike recalled the time he transacted with the mafia the last time.

Ethan showed determination, "I'm ready to take the risk. If no one goes inside then we cannot know where Jennifer's internal organs are stored. If we directly attack it from the outside then they will immediately run away carrying the organs they already have. We have less to surround them with."

Ethan already estimates the number of Big Mike's men in this bar is still too little to carry out the siege. It is also impossible to ask for help from the police because of the complicated procedures that will make the help will be long coming. If it's too long, Jennifer's organs are likely already sold and untraceable.

After Big Mike and Ethan discuss the details of their plan. Big Mike invited his men back into the bar. Big Mike introduces Ethan as a comrade-in-arms and explains their plan. Their hostility towards Ethan disappeared instantly. Some of them took turns to treat Ethan. They looked at him with respect and nostalgia, recalling the times they were still serving together in that particular unit. In the exchange of greetings and smiles, it is seen that they long for action and togetherness in the past tasks.

Then, Big Mike guided them to the back of the bar. The old bartender helped open the access door to the basement that initially looked like a wine cellar. However, when the door opens, Ethan is stunned. "How did you guys get all this?"

Apparently, the basement contained weapons complete and complete with ammunition. Even more surprising is that several anti-tank rocket launchers, known as RPGs, were placed in the corner of the room. Ethan could not hide his admiration. RPGs are heavy weapons that are rarely found in the city. There were several boxes of ammunition and grenades neatly arranged around it.

Big Mike explained, "This thing was a confiscation item from the enemy while we were on active duty. We keep these weapons as a form of emergency preparation if we are involved in a major conflict like we are today. Looks like your mission is one of these emergency situations, Brother."

Ethan nodded in understanding. "It's gonna be very useful. Thank you for your help and your men."

After completing their plans and strategizing, Ethan, Big Mike, and his men are ready to take on this dangerous mission. They hope to stop the organ trafficking mafia and rescue Jennifer before it's too late.
