Is He My Son?

“Mami?”

Alana was surprised to find Gala there.

“Ga—gala?”

The boy immediately ran over to embrace her. Instantly Alana's body was riveted, where her eyes were accidentally stared at by Dave's sharp black eye bead. The man also approached her.

“Mami,” sneer Dave seemed to not believe what he saw and heard just now. The man shook his head, smiling bitterly. “I didn't expect. I've been fooled and lied to by my own wife,”.

“Da—dave..”

“Master, this is your order.” Zain suddenly came. The man was shocked to see what was happening inside. How he saw Gala hugging Alana. Without needing any more explanation, he also understood the real situation.

Dave threw his face out in front of Alana. While Gala stared confusedly at Alana and Dave in turn.

“Honey, can leave Mami here for a while. You come with Uncle Zain first yes,” pinta Alana pointed towards Zain. Gala followed her Mammys lead.

“Come darling. Uncle has a lot of food,” invite Zain to bring Gala out of the room. Not forgetting that he closed the door again.

Alana bit her lips, confused about where to start talking. Many times he took a breath, but there was not a single word that he could take out.

Dave twisted his body, looking at his wife with a disappointed face. “Why just shut up Alana? You don't want to explain anything to me?” ask Dave to sue.

Alana squeezed his hand. “Dave actually Gala it—”

“My son?” dave's out straight away.

Alana nodded softly, looking at Dave with a sad look. Dave jerked his breath. “I guessed it from the beginning when I saw his face. I even thought about doing a DNA test.” Dave showed me a strand of hair he had taken from Gala.

“Why didn't you tell me honestly Alana?” continues disappointed.

“I think—”

“You're thinking if I don't need to know about Gala? So right?” cecar Dave's.

Alana shakes. “Not so Dave. I just need-—”

Alana shook her head, her tears dripping. He never hated Dave at all.

“Don't you have enough time to take care of it yourself for four years? Why is it that after we meet you intend to hide it from me? Is my mistake completely unforgivable, Alana?”

Alana was crying. In front of Dave, he could barely make a sound.

Dave turned his face away, rubbing the corners of his wet eyes. Seeing his wife crying, he couldn't bear it. However, at this time a sense of disappointment has enveloped his heart “You know Alana? I don't know what happened to our previous marriage. I always believed what you said. I never thought you were lying. That's why I asked about what happened five years ago. I choose to believe in you, even though I doubt in my heart. But, I convinced myself. If I had to fully trust you. I could've found out about your life in Jakarta. By forcing your way with you when you drive you home, or asking someone to find out about you. But, that's not what I did Alana. And you know what the reason is.”

Alana nodded, in tears she also recalled her wedding trip with Dave. The man almost never said no when Alana spoke, Dave would always say no matter what he said.

“I don't know either. How can I convince you of my true feelings. I've done everything Alana's done. However, there is no one way that can soften your heart.” Dave smiled bitterly.

“Dave—”

Dave looked at Alana sharply. The man did speak in a relaxed tone. However, from every word that came out of her lips, it was able to make Alana's heart tremble.

“If you think you're the only one who suffered after that five years ago. You're so wrong, Alana. You don't even know what happened to me. I was punished with my guilt for you, Alana. Everyone blames me for your departure. They think I'm the cause. I caused you to get hurt. But, I take it Alana. I've been trying to find you everywhere. But you disappeared like you were swallowed by the earth. And after I promised Alana, if you come back I'll try better, won't let you down, I'll do anything so you can come back. But, until this second you're even—”

“Enough Dave! Enough!” alana's yelling made Dave shut up. With tears in her eyes, Alana hugged Dave tightly, leaving the man's body riveted.

“Sorry,” he said softly.
