With limping footsteps trying to step in.
“Lho Miss. You why?” pekik Salma was shocked. He who was changing vases in the living room was surprised to see the footsteps of his wife.
“I'm fine Salma,” replied Alana soothingly.
Silently Salma glanced at Alana's knees. He sighed when he saw his employer's knee was injured. He turns Alana to the sofa.
“Don't be that sweet. I'm fine, just a little scuff!”
“We go to the hospital aja yes, Miss?” bargained for.
“Hey I just hurt a little. With the red medicine droplets also this will heal. Why are you so damn hot? You're too much of a wound like this to go to the hospital. Like Dave only!”
“It was Miss. Because I'm afraid Mr. Dave is angry.”
Alana looked at Salma in confusion. “What is he angry for? Just relax it won't be possible.”
“Ah Miss it does not know yes. What if Mr. Dave is already angry. Just like when your shoulder got hurt from Miss Natasha's flower vase toss. Mr. Dave even nagged me, for letting you keep going to work back then.”
Alana was silent considering the incident. He himself did not think that Dave could be angry. “Whatever Dave can be angry?” tanyanya. Because so far he only knows Dave's sweet side. Salma nodded.
“But I've never seen him angry,”.
“That means you are a very valuable person to her, Miss. Sir Dave can be angry? Of course, he is also just an ordinary human Miss. Not a god or an angel, of course the emotional side is there,” explained Salma while moving to take the medicine box because his employer's wife refused to go to the hospital.
Alana chuckles at hearing it. Of value? Sure oes. Given her presence was still needed by the man, being a feigned wife. Feeling it made Alana feel claustrophobic. The woman moved with the book she had bought.
“Where do you want to go?” asked Salma who had returned with the medicine box.
“Colour.”
“But Miss. Your wounds–”
The crane! The crane! The house phone rings.
Bending her legs slightly, Alana began to clean her wounds first, as there was sand there, considering that she fell on the asphalt. He grimaced many times when he felt pain in his knee.
“Give me, let me help you.”
The familiar baritone voice made him gasp. She was surprised to find her husband walking towards her.
“Dave!” hisses.
Roll up his maroon shirt to the elbow. Dave sat himself down next to the long chair that Alana was using. The woman was still silent with a gaze that kept staring at Dave, until unconscious when Dave had taken over the cotton in his hand.
“Aww!” Alana grimaces as Dave presses her wound.
“Sick yes,” exclaimed Dave advancing his face, blowing off Alana's wounds. “In there is sand. It should be cleaned first. We go to the hospital, yes,”.
“No Dave. Wh-wh-what for? You're overreacting.”
Dave sighed. “You are indeed stubborn.”
“Job Dave. It's not that, it's just that you're overreacting this is just a small wound. Why did I have to go to the hospital. It just needs a little treatment,” reply Alana is about to take over the cotton in Dave's hands. However, the man immediately kept her away.
“Let me treat him. You just lean back,” said Dave continued treatment of Alana's knee painstakingly. Even her burly hands were soft when they touched Alana's skin.
“Dave shouldn't you still be in Italy? You said you'd be home tomorrow,” asked Alana curiously. His gaze still continued to stare at the man, how Dave patiently and painstakingly treated his wounds, sometimes blowing him around as if he was worried that Alana was feeling sore.
“I've been home since this morning Alana. But I went straight to the company. But I called home. Salma said you came home wounded. So, I hurried home. I even forgot to bring your ordered chocolate that I bought in Italy.”
“Why rush Dave? Salma was too much, seeing me come home like this. Though I'm fine.”
“Of course because I'm worried, Alana.”
Pipi Alana immediately met to hear it. He felt overwhelmed by the confession of the man who felt anxious about his condition. “You should know Alana. Even though our marriage status is just a contract. I still have to take responsibility for your circumstances."
The happy smile that emanated on Alana's face instantly dimmed, changing with a wry smile. Instantly the disappointment and pain again hit the deepest recesses of his heart.
