“Papa, how are you?” ask Alana kindly.
“My news has been bad since you became my son-in-law,” Jonas replied fiercely.
Alana bit her lower lip, enduring the pain in her heart. If she had previously been used to being insulted by her mother-in-law, Alana could have faced bravely without fear of offending. However, faced with Jonas, he felt reluctant, as if he did not want to offend the middle-aged man. Could it be because Gizka is just Dave's stepmother.

“Good. Is there anything Papa wants to say?" ask Alana.
“No need to mince words, Alana. You also know what I really want to say.”
“Means?”
“It's been six months,” said Jonas made Alana lift her face, staring at her clueless father-in-law. “You became my son's wife. Is it not enough with what you have got?” continued.
“What Papa means?”
“No need to pretend to be plain in front of me Alana. I know very well what your purpose is to marry my son. Enough of these six months I let you have fun being my son's wife. Now I ask you to leave his life,” Jonas asserted.
Alana smiled wryly. “So, that's the goal?”
“I know for it. But, what if I don't want to,” said Alana a little challenging. The two round black eyeballs, now ventured to look at Jonas. As if giving an answer if he did not want to do that. “I've told you before, Pa. I'll just leave, if Dave asks me to. It's up to Papa to do anything to me,”.
Jonas was silent, when his eyes were even imprinted on Alana's eyeballs. The man frowned for a moment, then turned his face away. However, a few seconds later he shook his head, before then he said in a slightly threatening tone. “Including your life safety, Alana?”

Alana was shocked to hear it. Her father-in-law's tone contained a slight threat.
“Does Papa intend to threaten me?” ask Alana relax.
”This is not just a threat. But, a warning. If you don't obey my orders, then you'll know the other side of me, Alana.”
After saying that, Jonas just passed by. Alana looked towards the man with a sour look. There were many things that troubled his heart. Unknowingly a clear circle flowed from the corner of his eye. A feeling of tightness entered his chest instantly.
Indeed, during these six months, Alana did not feel that anything disturbed her life. His pretended household with Dave went well. No one is troubling him. Only occasionally did Gizka often come just to insult him, even if Dave was not at home. Her husband's stepmother always said things that made Alana feel angry. His mouth was really venomous. It's not wrong if Dave always makes the nickname ‘Two-faced woman’
‘Only a year, and only six months left. Can I still survive?’ muttered. When he wiped his tears. His gaze was directed at his wrists which looked flushed. Instantly Alana became reminded of her mother, making Alana now a spirit. He could heal his mother first.
“I'm not a woman who reneges on promises. Dave is too good to betray. No problem, I'll deal with it.” Alana wiped her tears with a bit of roughness.
