The Wife Pay
Keep Looking Good

Dave breathed a sigh of relief as his car had sped away from Mr. Risky's residence.

“Thankfully everything went smoothly,” Dave said as he loosened his tie.

Alana silently glanced towards the man, gulping his saliva violently. Kala stared at Dave's appearance which now looked more messy. Still, it's charming.

“Why Alana?” dave asked as soon as he realized secretly Alana was staring at him.

“It's okay, Dave." Alana turned her face away, grimacing in silence, for a moment she became misbehaved.

“Oh, I think there is something wrong with my appearance,” Dave said.

“Oh ti–no Dave. You still look handsome,” Alana later chirped. Dave heard it. Alana patted her lips as she honestly spoke. Even Zain who was driving quietly came smiling to hear it.

“Emm I mean–”

“Thank you for the compliment, Alana.” Dave interrupts Alana's words quickly, as he knows the woman is being misbehaved.

After that, only silence was created inside the car. Alana is busy observing the towering buildings, while Dave is busy with his iPad. For Alana is not surprised by the busyness of the man.

While passing through a mental hospital, Alana felt the longing rustle. He misses his mother. However, the doctor forbade him to visit her too often, because it could also harm him. Alana doesn't even know, for some reason in her pain her mother seems to hate her so much. Had his father been around, his fate might not have been this sad.

‘Mother, I miss your embrace,’ murmured inwardly. His view looks empty. In his heart he continued to recite prayers for his mother's healing. So that everything he does at this time is not in vain.

“Alana!” a pat on the shoulder resuscitated Alana in her daydream.

“Oh i–iya.”

“We've arrived, Alana.”

Hearing Dave's words, Alana immediately spread her gaze outwards. It was true that they had arrived in front of the house. Why is it so fast? Alana just passed by a hospital. Maybe because he was busy walking the whole way.

Getting off the car, Alana stepped inside slowly. Let Dave be in front of him.

In front of the terrace, Alana stopped her steps, leaning against the wall of the pillar. His eyes stared in astonishment at the sky, where stars scattered beautifully there. A smile was created on his lips.

“This miss what is God?”

“Why miss so painful. When we miss someone who is gone. Tonight may I wish you to present the figure of my beloved father in my dreams.” Alana spoke to herself as she turned her face up.

Alana turned to find the man in a white shirt staring at her, with both hands in his pants pocket. While the tie and suit either he put it where.

“I'm only talking on the moon and stars,” replied Alana.

Dava smiled knot. “Speaking what?”

“About a miss.”

“Pada? Former?” sneered Dave.

Alana immediately sneered. “Don't talk about him. I've really let it go.”

Dave nodded, then bent his legs, sitting on Alana's side. “Then you missed who? If it's your mother, you can see her at the hospital.”

Alana did the same with Dave. Sitting by Dave's side. “I miss my Dad. Dave missing a dead man is painful huh. Sometimes it feels silly to like to talk to yourself.”

Dave looked at Alana for a moment. “Don't worry Alana. You know the sky is so far from the reach of the earth, yet you can still feel the beauty of the moon and its stars. Likewise with your sense of longing, believe the prayer you offer for your Father will reach him,” said Dave slowly.

“Because that's what I do if I feel the same way about my mom,” Dave said.

Alana smiled faintly at him, for a moment she felt relieved. Then, out of nowhere, the woman ventured to rest her head on Dave's chest.

Surprisingly, Dave did not refuse at all. The man gently rubbed Alana's shoulder.
