Chapter 42. Honest and admit

Horisson Mansion.

The arrival of opa Bernadi to his residence, made Mr. Horisson and his wife look at each other, with a variety of questions that arise in their heads of course.

Then Lady Grace who saw the opa Bernadi began to set her foot into her house, immediately welcomed the arrival of the manager of the precious stone mine with a warm smile.

"Good afternoon Mr Bernadi, what made you come all the way here?" How about you go in first and sit inside," warmly greet Madame Grace at the door.

"Tell Horisson, do you know a girl named Evelyn and what does that have to do with your family? Why do I feel like she looks so much like my daughter-in-law, or is my gut feeling right if she has something to do with my family?" ask opa Bernadi.

Mr. Horisson was worried what he would have to say to Bernadi's opa, if he knew Evelyn well and Evelyn was the granddaughter of Bernadi's own opa.

While Lady Grace was already shaking in fear, especially if considering she had been rude to Evelyn, even had the heart to throw her from home.

"Answer!" opa Bernadi.

"Grace, get in your room first." Mr. Horisson asked his wife to go into the room before answering a question from Bernadi's opa.

"All right, baby," complied madam Grace.

Mr. Horisson looked back at Bernadi's opa, this time he did not hesitate to reveal who Evelyn really was.

"Mr Bernadi, I do know Evelyn well and I must also be honest and admit something to you" replied Mr. Horisson.

"What is Horisson?" ask opa Bernadi.

"As you may have guessed, Mr. Bernadi, that the girl is indeed your biological granddaughter who has been missing all this time. Princess Anthoni as well as Cecilia," replied Mr. Horisson admitted.

Opa Bernadi felt shaken when he heard this, because how not, his long-lost granddaughter was actually still alive. He wept and called his son and daughter-in-law long gone.

But he was grateful and buried first, before receiving a complete answer from Mr. Horisson.

"What makes you say to Horisson, I'm glad to hear that my granddaughter is alive. But I also need to know more about Evelyn, I mean how it all happened. About Evelyn who was suddenly in your house and why you were hiding all that from me" Opa Bernadi replied in tears.

It was very curious to vent all his curiosity, because there were so many questions that suddenly appeared in his mind.

"Mr Bernadi, I apologize in advance to you if I have kept this big thing a secret from you. But, before I tell you everything I know about Evelyn, I beg you to trust me first. And I hope you don't blame my family for the decisions I've made, especially my son Louise" Mr Horisson said.

"I want Horisson's answer, whether it's wrong or not, it depends on how you treat my granddaughter all this time in your family" Bernadi said.

This made Madame Grace who was eavesdropping suddenly limp and tremble.

Mr. Horisson draws as much air as possible inside her lungs, then tells the story of the early discovery of baby Evelyn by her butler Angel and tells how Angel adopted Evelyn as her daughter.

"So you're saying, Evelynku's a maid in your house, huh!" tanya opa Bernadi began to be unhappy and it was seen from his anxiety.

"Calm Mr. Bernadi, I understand you don't like my decision. But believe me this is all for Evelyn's own good" replied Mr. Horisson.

"Key what do you mean? By making my grandson your maid and making him work hard here. While you know that she actually still has a well-to-do biological family that's been searching for her whereabouts all along?"

"Then, why didn't you say anything to me about everything and why did you hide this truth from me for so long?" bernadi said so angry and disappointed to hear it.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Bernadi, I had no other choice at the time. I hid it all this time out of fear that Evelyn would be at risk for her safety, because I felt that Anthoni's accident was unnatural and I investigated the case all along."

"In addition, Evelyn I've considered part of my family. I love her as much as my own daughter and I don't want to lose her so soon either, so forgive me for hiding it from you, Mr. Bernadi" replied Mr. Horisson regretting.

Then Mr. Horisson resumed his words, about the mandate of Angel's mother before she died, which was to ask Louise to take care of Evelyn after she was gone.

Mr. Bernadi sighed harshly and looked disappointedly at Mr. Horisson. But what can be done, the man also seemed to realize something and he could not deny it.

Where if not for the protection of Mr. Horisson and his family, maybe Evelyn really could never breathe fresh to this day. And for the rest of his life, he would never be able to meet Evelyn, his biological granddaughter.

"What do you mean, Mr Bernadi? Louise is enjoying her honeymoon, how could she be involved in Evelyn's current disappearance?" ask Mr. Horisson.

"Louise is back from her honeymoon and I know it's all from my men, and I'm pretty sure Evelyn's disappearance has something to do with your son!" opa Bernadi.

"No way, Louise loved Evelyn so much and she always took good care of her. If Evelyn left this time, I don't think Louise was the trigger. Mr. Bernadi, I believe in Louise and I believe all this is a mere misunderstanding" replied Mr. Horisson doubting Bernadi's opa.

"What if this was the case for Horisson, you're taking me to Louise right now and we'll see how much your son has kept the lie" Bernadi replied.

Mr. Horisson agreed with Bernadi's opa and they went together to the summit area, so that they could meet with Louise to clear up all the turbidity.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Gisella went to follow Louise to her house in the peak area. The woman was so angry that her honeymoon failed miserably just because it was chasing her missing maid.

"The maid really sucks! I didn't think the attraction was so strong, that Louise was willing to look for it. If this keeps up, that maid could've taken Louise from me!" gisella Ogre.

The woman grumbles along her way to Louise's private house and vows to make a reckoning with Evelyn if she is found still living with her husband.
