The Young Master's Child Helper

The Young Master's Child Helper
Chapter 8. The price of a necklace.

Next morning.

Horisson Mansion.

Evelyn returns home to her employer in a sad condition, she does not know what to do when knowing the range of costs she had to spend while her mother was hospitalized for several days.

"I have to find money where, my salary alone has run out for the cost to the doctor. The big madam will definitely be angry with me if I borrow any more money from her," Evelyn muttered.

The divorce of tears from the girl finally shed, if you remember the habits of mistress Grace who was so hard on him.

Especially when you find out if Mr. Horisson is taking care of some of his business abroad, and will not return home until the next two weeks.

This caught the attention of Louise who had just arrived at her residence. "Evelyn" said the man then walked over to the crying Evelyn.

Evelyn hurried to wipe away her tears, then continued to clean the front porch floor again. "Welcome T-master," he said, bowing his head.

"You've been crying, haven't you? What's the matter, why are your eyes and face so red?" ask Louise suspiciously.

"No young master, perhaps a flickering dust as it swept past," Evelyn replied as much as possible to avoid her uncle master from being scolded.

"Dust flickering? Here I see," Louise unobtrusively cupped both sides of Evelyn's face, then pulled her up a little.

Then the man bowed slightly, looking and gently blowing out the two beads of Evelyn's eyes that were still flushed and slightly watery.

But unfortunately thousands of dear, Madame Grace who saw it immediately wrathful in place.

How not, because if you see where the woman's position is, it's like seeing her son kissing a maid woman.

"Louise!"

"Geely!"

The two humans were immediately aghast from shock and Evelyn immediately brushed both of Louise's hands off her face. Then he stepped aside and bowed his face as Madame Grace came over to the two of them.

The little girl could only bow down, because she knew the consequences of the incident.

"Louise you've come home, why don't you go inside. And why are you standing here and doing what?" ask Miss Grace.

"Mommy, I'm just saying hello to Evelyn. He said it was a flickering dust, so I helped him, "Louise replied.

"Is there nothing else you two do?" ask Miss Grace suspiciously.

"Nothing, what am I doing?" reply Louise did not understand.

"Yes, get inside now. It's almost breakfast time" said Grace.

"Well, I want to take a shower too. After that I have to go to the office," Louise went inside the house and Miss Grace stayed alone with Evelyn.

The high-class-style woman immediately stared intently at Evelyn who was speechless looking down. "How dare you break my orders, are you trying to seduce my son huh!" his jolt.

"T-no big lady, you misunderstood. I dare not do that to uncle sir," Evelyn retorted.

"Don't call him uncle sir, call him young master. Young Master Louise Alexander Horisson! Do you understand!" said Mrs Grace.

Evelyn swallowed her hard-earned saliva. "B-good big lady, sorry ..." reply.

"Good, now that you're back at your job, don't forget the work that was delayed by yesterday's leave you have to do it today and I want everything to be in order" Grace said.

"Miss," Evelyn ventured.

"What's wrong?" lady Grace asked without looking at Evelyn's face.

"Madam, mom is being treated in the hospital. Yesterday I got a breakdown of the costs that must be incurred for the cost of treatment while there," Evelyn said then took a breath.

"Hem then?" ask Miss Grace.

Occasionally holding back her violently trembling body while handing over a piece of paper detailing hospital fees to mistress Grace.

Madam Grace turned around and looked at Evelyn who had dared to borrow money to him directly. The traffic came into the rich woman's mind. If this little girl is always given money, what if she is an adult later.

"This child can turn into a materialistic woman, because she will definitely continue to ask my family for money. Where can I let that happen," the inner mistress Grace guessed.

"Can't! Don't doubt you are my husband's favorite aide's son, so you can ask at will! Do you know, all the servants who work here, no one has ever dared to borrow money from me like you! You're so spoiled, you've only worked six years and you've wanted to borrow this much money!" mrs Grace snapped and threw the paper in any direction.

Then the woman went into her house, occasionally babbling and cursing hurtful words.

...***...

Evelyn pensively thought about how to get the money. Then think of a way that might be a way out of the girl.

"Oh yes! I'll have a gold necklace, why don't I just sell it." Evelyn's inner. But the teenage girl abandoned her intentions.

"But if I sell. I can't find my identity, "Evelyn's inner self anymore.

Because he remembered the mother's words, where only the necklace was the only clue to Evelyn's real family.

"But if it's not for sale ..."

Evelyn thought about it once more, then after many passing through various kinds of considerations. Finally, the girl decided to sell the gold necklace bearing Evelyn's name to the nearest gold shop.

...----------------...

Her night.

After finishing work at her employer's house, Evelyn rushed to the gold shop before visiting her mother at the hospital.

He showed a small gold necklace in the shape of a tube, bearing his name and a dragon's head cut a fairly large gemstone behind the necklace to the owner of the store.

"This necklace is very rare, forged by the hands of experts. It could be the only one in the world, Miss. Are you sure you want to sell this precious thing?" ask the shop owner. After he weighed the weight and checked the authenticity of the precious jewelry.

"Yes Uncle, I want to sell it. Because it is in need of the cost of treating my mother," Evelyn replied can only answer confidently with her decision.

"Yes, wait a minute for the price. Did you bring the original letter when you bought this necklace?" ask the shop owner.

"Nothing, that gold-purchase letter was gone a long time ago" Evelyn replied lying. Because he did not have a letter or certificate of precious gold.

"That means a cut yes" replied the gold shop owner.

Evelyn nodded. "Alright," he replied, waiting for the store owner to calculate the price.

It didn't take long, the shopkeeper came and he immediately called Evelyn. "Your necklace costs this much," he said showing a calculator containing numbers.

Evelyn was suddenly nervous. "A lot of zeros," he replied plainly.

"Yes who would have thought, this small gemstone embedded in the mouth of the dragon is a real diamond that has a content of 5 carats. So the price is certainly fantastic, but unfortunately Uncle can not buy this necklace because of its very high value. Uncle can't afford it, because it's just a small shop," said the store owner, then handed the necklace back.

Evelyn fell silent, many thoughts popping into the little girl's head. "Am I a rich man?" mumbling guessed.

"Miss, take this necklace of yours to a bigger gold or diamond shop. They can definitely pay for your necklace," the shopkeeper said as he scattered Evelyn's daydreams.

"Well," Evelyn answered suddenly sweating when she found out the price of the necklace was worth billions of dollars.
