Chapter 60. Make a promise.

Evelyn let out a sigh of relief, at least she had a reason and moved away from the tense atmosphere due to Steve's unexpected proposal.

The woman left with a curious look and upon arrival in front of the restaurant, Evelyn again noticed the people around where she was standing at the moment, but there was not a single person to suspect.

"Who called me?" inner Evelyn wondered, because the number had been contacting her since earlier this morning.

Then raised the nameless call, out of curiosity and also disturbing.

"Hallo," said Evelyn.

"Hallo Evelyn" said Louise.

"T-sir uncle!" evelyn was shocked to recognize the voice. Then look around him again while being constantly vigilant.

"Why was it so surprised? Do you think I didn't keep an eye on you while I was here?" louise said and it made Evelyn even more unsettled.

"What do you want sir? Why are you following me?" cecar Evelyn's.

"Why? What's wrong? It's your graduation day, I just wanted to congratulate you Evelyn. You look so beautiful in a kebaya suit and tonight you look beautiful at dinner with another man, too" Louise said reluctantly.

Evelyn swallowed her hard-earned saliva and re-spread her gaze around. "There's no need for further ado, sir, just tell me what you want to talk about. Why do you always follow me?"

"I just want to win your promise" Louise replied.

Evelyn bit her lower lip, squeezing her evening gown in annoyance. "Today is not over, sir, no need to remind me. I will keep my promise to you, are you satisfied!" his jolt.

"Don't be angry, you look adorable when you're angry like that" Louise teased.

"Are you done talking, because I'm busy!" ketus Evelyn was about to shut down. Louise forbids it. "What else!" continued.

"Evelyn, I need you to reject your man's proposal!" reply Louise firmly.

Evelyn knitted both her eyebrows and snorted in annoyance. "What does this have to do with you, sir? Whether I accept it or not is my right and why do you always interfere in the personal affairs of others?" tanyanya.

"Push it or I'll make you unable to sleep peacefully tonight!" louise doesn't want to know. Then immediately turned off her phone before Evelyn could reply.

"Hello! Hey!"

Evelyn cursed rudely and cursed at the man who always irritated her. "He's a bitch! Always threatening me with the no-no!"

The woman pointed her middle finger all over the direction she was standing, hoping that Louise would see the disgust of him. Then he went back to the restaurant to meet Steve again.

Evelyn saw this, there was a bad feeling when she saw her best friend turned moody.

"Steve please forgive me, I can't accept your proposal. You are a good man and understanding, all this time I can only consider you as a good friend. I'm sorry Steve," Evelyn replied.

Steve lowered his head and nodded, a slightly disappointed look on his face. Then steadied to look at Evelyn's face again.

"It's okay Eve, don't feel guilty like that. I understand, at least I have no regrets for having expressed my feelings to you before you left and for having known the answer. But Eve, please don't erase our friendship and never forget me" Steve replied.

"Steve, I'll never forget you. You're the gentle-hearted man who has always been there for me, where I might be able to forget all that" Evelyn smiled.

Steve tried to smile. "Thank you, it's night. How about I take you home," he asked with a hand and Evelyn nodded in agreement and welcomed Steve's hand to take her home.

"Thank you for the ride" Evelyn said.

"Together," Steve smiled back.

"Then I go inside, yes" Evelyn said

"Wait Eve!" call Steve and get out of his car.

"What's up, Steve? Is there something?" ask Evelyn.

Evelyn patted Steve on the back. "I'll never forget you, Steve" she replied.

Steve nodded and parsed his embrace with a heavy feeling. "If you've reached Indo, let me know. You should always inform your condition. Whether it's happy or sad."

Evelyn nodded small. "Of course, now go home Steve. Thank you again for your concern for me all this time."

Steve nodded and went back into his car, while Evelyn was still faithful waiting for Steve to spur his vehicle away, before he entered the house.

Evelyn let out a sigh of relief, at least Steve did not turn angry when his love was rejected at dinner last night. The girl can only hope, Steve can find a suitable and suitable partner for her.

Then suddenly he looked at his own future, what kind of man would be his companion. While stepping foot towards the gate of the house.

But he had not been able to turn around to go home, he was suddenly pulled into a hallway separating the distance between one house and another house near it.

"Akh!" peekuk Evelyn was surprised not to play.

Especially when he saw a man in all black clothes had locked his movement up to the wall.

"W-who are you?" evelyn asked as she tried to swallow her choked saliva.

"It's me, your uncle sir," Louise replied and smiled gently at Evelyn.

"You're really here, sir," Evelyn said, not expecting Louise to fly this far just to meet him.

"Do you expect another man to come see you?" louise asked with a non-dressful look.

Evelyn nodded quickly. "N-no, what did you come here for?"

"To meet you and make sure that you don't run away from me" Louise replied.

"I'm not going to run away, so now get the hell out of here, sir!" reply Evelyn ketus.

Louise squeaks. "Why did your attitude turn rude when you met me, it wasn't as gentle as when you were with the man earlier. Is this the service I got from my beloved servant?" he said while eroding the distance.

Evelyn clenched tightly into both of her hands. "Go away, sir, you're making me uncomfortable."

"The man can hold you, why can't I. Don't you miss me Evelyn?" louise said, tightening her embrace.

"Why do I miss you, sir, tomorrow we will meet. Please stay away from me!" pinta Evelyn while holding back Louise's chest that was pressing on her.

"I've come all this way, at least give me a kiss to go." she replied.

Evelyn turned her face away, but Louise still managed to reach her. The man managed to forcibly take a kiss back.
