The Young Master's Child Helper

The Young Master's Child Helper
Chapter 91. Raising old cases

The apartment.

After successfully finding Evelyn and saving herself from a horde of immoral men.

Louise decides to drive Evelyn back into her apartment, after having previously been rejected by Evelyn who did not want to go home to Bernadi opa for some time, in order to calm down.

And Louise called her Aunt Maureen, so as not to worry that Evelyn had been found and would stay in the apartment that Evelyn had been in for several days.

"Thank God that Eve has been found, I'm very grateful to you sir. If it wasn't for your help then Eve, she would've --" isak Aunt Maureen could no longer afford to continue,

"Have Auntie not cried and don't worry about Evelyn, she's fine. For now let him be alone first" Louise replied.

Aunt Maureen agreed to this. "Alright Mr. Louise, but there's one Aunt request for you, sir. Please take care of Eve, she really needs someone by her side. Aunty just doesn't want Eve until things go wrong" she asked.

"Alright Bi, don't worry about that. I'll try to take care of Evelyn" Louise replied, staring at the dreamy Evelyn.

"Thank you, sir" said Aunt Maureen.

"Either. Aunt, I have a request for you. Please take care and take care of Opa Bernadi, if something happens or requires anything. Don't forget to tell me," he continued.

"That's for sure Sir," Aunt Maureen replied.

After informing the house, Louise then sat beside Evelyn who was silent to the dark atmosphere outside the building on the apartment window. Then raised Evelyn's arm and treated the abrasions caused by the delinquent.

"Why get out of the house like that? Don't you know the outside conditions are dangerous, especially in the dark of the night. Good thing I came on time, if not. that delinquent must have hurt you," Louise spoke while affixing the wound ointment, occasionally blowing it so as not to sting.

But Evelyn did not budge in the slightest, even the pain in her wound was no longer ignored. It was probably because the pain in his heart was much more painful, compared to the pain caused by the scratches on his hands and feet.

Louise breathed a long sigh, then moved away from Evelyn and allowed her to calm down for a while.

But just as Louise was about to get up from her seat, Evelyn suddenly hugged her and burst into tears again.

Louise was aghast when she received the treatment, Evelyn's sudden act of holding her, making her gasp for quite a while.

Evelyn's sobbing made Louise clench her arms again, as she became a loyal listener of every grievance that the beautiful girl in her arms was making.

Occasionally his hand rubbed the top of Evelyn's head and stroked her gently to follow the length of the hair strands to the back, hoping that the action could ease Evelyn's grief.

"Here you go, don't cry anymore. There's your uncle's master here" whispered Louise softly.

"I don't understand, sir, why the closest people I trust so much and love so much have the heart to lie to me and keep a bitter secret from me all this time. Even I just found out that he was the cause of my father and mother's woe" Evelyn said.

Louise let out a long sigh and had expected something like this to happen if the secret of Bernadi's opa was revealed and Louise felt unable to bear the sadness.

"Your father must have had a reason why he kept this bitter secret from you and he definitely didn't want it until you hated him" Louise replied.

"But why should Opa do that and not someone else? I can still survive if someone else did that evil thing to me, so I can curse him, hate and also scold that person."

"But I couldn't bear this pain when I found out that it was the person closest to me who turned out to have done me evil, because I couldn't hate him, but I couldn't just forgive him either," circlaim Evelyn.

"He only knew the dark secret about his Opa after being together for quite a long time and that wasn't all. She must have been getting sadder when she found out all the truth," Louise's inner self suspected that.

...***...

Shortly after, Evelyn's sobs began to subside and the woman looked calmer than before.

Louise broke her embrace and looked at Evelyn while wiping the tears in both eyes of the woman as she cried over time. "Have you felt good?" tanyakanya.

Evelyn nodded. "I'm sorry to trouble you again, sir. But I also don't know how I would be without you" she replied.

Louise pulls a smile. "It's okay, don't feel bad like that. I told you once, no, that I'm one of the families that cares about you the most."

Evelyn smiled faintly, then grabbed Louise's hands and rested on the floor.

"Evelyn what are you doing? Get up" said Louise, lifting Evelyn to her feet.

But Evelyn refused to obey and shook her head quickly, looking up so she could look at Louise. "Sir, do you want to grant my request?" he got serious by holding Louise's hand.

"Whatis that? Say," Louise replied listening.

"Sir, I've been abandoned by both of my parents since I was a baby. Even though they didn't take care of me because I was long gone, but I realized that I had never been devoted to him. All this time I could only pray next to his grave, without knowing it turns out they harbored a great desire before they both left this world."

"So, sir, maybe this is the right time for me to repay their kindness for giving birth to me" Evelyn took a deep breath.

Then continued his words with a unanimous determination. "Sir, I'd like to ask for your help. I want to raise the old case of opa and continue the struggle of my parents" he continued.

Louise was fixated on hearing the request, while continuing to look at Evelyn's serious face. "Are you sure you want to report all your opa crimes? Aren't you gonna regret it later?"

Evelyn nodded with certainty, although her heart was sad but this was the only way to be able to avenge all the evils of Opa Bernadi, as well as clear her good name.

"I'm sure you and I are ready to accept the risks that will happen later" Evelyn replied.

Louise cupped both sides of Evelyn's face and confirmed it again. "Truly, do you know what the consequences would be if this old case was lifted back hem? You're gonna lose everything Evelyn. You'll lose all your treasure, even you'll lose your Opa."

Evelyn was closed, her eyes still shed tears. As soon as possible he gave an answer. "No problem sir, I lost everything in the first place."

Louise blew her breath into the air and was shut up thinking about all that. Whether Evelyn will really be able to lose everything she has gained so far.

"Well, I'll agree to your wish. But promise me one thing, whatever the final decision may be. I want you to stay strong and accept all the facts that happen to you, be it good or the worst" Louise said.

Evelyn nodded with certainty and was ready to accept, and bear all the consequences that would arise later.
