Ep.23 - Unexpected

“Del, open the door. You have to eat.”

There was no response from Edelweis in there, the door of the woman's room was still tightly closed and locked.

Jonathan let out a rough sigh, his phone ringing indicating that there was an incoming call. He raised the call and stuck the flat object in his ear while walking towards the sofa.

“Halo, Tha.”

“Mas Jo, what's up? Why did I hear a girl scream last night. Everything is fine, right?”

Jonathan is confused as to whether or not he should answer Retha's honest questions. On the one hand he wants to be open, but on the other hand he doesn't want to make things misunderstood. “Nothing, Tha. Maybe it's from the unit next door. I'm fine with.”

“You sure?”

“Iya... Thank you for your attention to me.”

Jonathan felt the heat instantly, he felt that something was wrong with his body. Something forced him to do one thing.

“Mas Jo,”

Jonathan turned off the call, he put the origin of his phone. His throat felt dry, plus his voice became hoarse instantly. Sweat immediately came out of his forehead. He was confused, what was with himself as well as his current body. The open door of the room made Jonathan turn to the source of the sound. There, there was Edelweis who came out of the room in covered clothes covering his body. Her hair was left to be scattered a little disheveled, her face was full of reddishness and there were still remnants of tears there.

“Del,” hoarse voice Jonathan called Edelweis who did not care at all and prefer to continue his steps.

“Lo should eat, Del. Although I know, it may still be hard for you to admit all of it when something happens the same lo.”

Edelweis picked up the glass on the dining table, he poured water and gulped it down. The thirst that had been held up since last night paid off already by the water this morning.

“Del,”

“No need to talk to me, Jo.” said Edelweis flat, he has no expression at all. “Gue knows, you must be happy to see how I feel. You will never be happy to see me all right, maybe when I think you are happy.”

Jonathan frowning confused, “Del, lo kok—”

“It's actually like that!” Edelweis turned to look at Jonathan, his eyes already glazed over. She held back her tears. “Lo is happy to see me destroyed, you are happy with my destruction.” watered down Edelweis, his tears fell.

Jonathan hissed annoyed, he shook his head in disbelief. “If I'm happy to see you destroyed, I won't help you yesterday. I'll just tell you, Del.” reply Jonathan.

Edelweis closed his eyes for a moment, he wiped away his tears. “Lo is just afraid of being wronged by Mama, Papa. Hence, help me at that time.”

“Lo's mind is short, Del.”

“Yes, so why don't you help me again!?” angry Edelweis, he cried back. “Help me missing the scars of that jerk...” Ogre Edelweis, he rests on the table.

“You're the only one who can help me, Jo. Just lo, lo my husband.” isak Edelweis, he sobbed slowly. “But you don't want to help me. You're happy to see how I feel. Lo—”

“—Del.”

Edelweis gasped in shock at what Jonathan was doing. For a moment he was silent, looking closely at Jonathan's eyeballs in front of his eyes. He tried to convince himself, whether what Jonathan did was real or just a hallucination. However, when his lips were bitten by Jonathan which made him grimace at once jerked, he knew if this was real.

Not felt, the sun that was shining bright has now set again. The room that had been bright, now it was dark because there was no light entering it, the room lights had not been turned on. Meanwhile, a pair of people still wrestle under the same blanket with a naked body.

Jonathan blinked his eyes slowly, he frowned confused for a moment. However, looking at who was in his current embrace made him aware of one thing. He had just had sex with Edelweis, who was his wife. A wife he didn't expect before.

Jonathan released Edelweis slowly from his arms, the arm that had been used as a pillow by the woman he pulled slowly. He stared around the room, making him aware of the state of the room because he activated what he had done with Edelweis before.

Jonathan sighed harshly, he rubbed his face rough. “Why can?” jonathan asked himself. He was really angry at what he was doing. The sudden turmoil that could not be restrained made him to do so, plus the moment Edelweis forced. So that without realizing Jonathan was released to do that.

Jonathan immediately took his pants, put on his pants then rushed away from Edelweis' room. Not to forget, before he actually left, he turned on the woman's room lamp also confirmed the position of the blanket slightly sagging from Edelweis' chest.

Shortly after Jonathan's departure, Edelweis was awake from his sleep. He opened his eyes slowly and he found himself alone in a blanket. He was silent, staring at the messy state of the room. The events that had just happened in his life again revolved, his first experience in the matter of having sex was he did with Jonathan. For the other hand, Edelweis felt regret for having intercourse with a man who was not at all loving as well in his beloved. However, on the other hand she was also grateful because the one who removed the trace of the jerk man who abused her was her own husband.

Edelweis let out a rough sigh, he tightened the blanket that wrapped around his body. I don't know what will happen in his next life. Clearly, for now he owes Jonathan everything the man has done.

Retha immediately rushed towards the door when she heard the sound of her house bell. He smiled happily when he saw who had come to visit.

“Mas Jo,”

Jonathan smiled faintly, he stepped closer to Retha before finally without saying anything he hugged the woman. Retha who was surprised did nothing, she just kept quiet and let Jonathan hold her.

“Mas Jo, you why?”

Jonathan did not answer, but he tightened his arms. He slipped his face into the recess of Retha's neck. “Sorry to me, Tha.” Jonathan, he feels guilty to Retha for what he did with Edelweis.

“Sorry, why?” Retha's confused. “Be a moment, we go in first. I'm afraid there are media who see us.” said Retha, she invited Jonathan into her house.

Jonathan took off his embrace, he nodded and entered Retha's house. They sit on the couch.

“What's up, mas? Why are you suddenly sorry I tried?” retha asked confused, she did not feel Jonathan had anything wrong with her so there was no reason for the man to apologize.

Jonathan was silent, and he stared at the woman. He shook his head, there was no way he could tell the truth. “Gakpa. Only, I feel guilty because lately rarely contact you.” elak Jonathan, but the answer is honest, not making it up.

Retha chuckled softly, "Oh my goodness, mas. I think why. Anyway, not even a time. I understand too. We both have our own business, so I have no problem. After all we have to understand each other.” replied Retha, she smiled widely.

“Still, yes, Tha. You already know me.” said Jonathan sincerely who got the nod also a smile full of calmness from Retha.

“Yaudah, it just so happened that Jo came here. So, let's eat!” Retha stood up and pulled Jonathan's hand to follow him. “I made soto today mas. Hope you like, yes.”

“I'm sure to like it.”

“You sit here, let me prepare the food, yes.”

Jonathan nodded, he stared fixedly at Retha who was preparing food for him. A smile could not be separated from his lips to see how painstakingly Retha did that, like not a strange thing anymore. It seems like Retha is already used to the kitchen.

Jonathan nodded, "Please, yes.” Jonathan smiled broadly. “The smell is good, it definitely tastes much better.”

Jonathan was silent, he frowned confusedly.

Jonathan was surprised to hear this.

“No, Tha, no. I'm glad to hear it.” Jonathan tried to smile widely. "So, are we officially dating? Meaning, we have a relationship?” jonathan asked who got a nod and a shy smile from Retha.

“Still, yes, Tha. Thanks for returning my love.”
