Together With the System to Become a Pharmacist at Once a Doctor
Chapter 177: Treating Illness and Examining Feng Shui

“Tell your family first,” advice Wang Yao.

“Oke.” The man's hands trembled as he called out to his family. Wang Yao suddenly realized that he was a bit rude just now. He must have scared the guy. In fact, he could say it in a better way. I have to be careful with what I say next time so as not to make the patient depressed, Wang Yao thought.

The ambulance arrived shortly, as did the man's family members. The middle-aged man trembled as he walked into the ambulance.

“Must go, May,” said the paramedics who clearly know Pan Mei. It was probably because Pan Jun worked in the hospital's emergency department.

“Take it easy; keep in mind that the patient has heart disease, and he is likely to have thrombosis,” Pan Mei said.

“Sure,” says paramedic.

The ambulance leaves immediately. Only Pan Mei and Wang Yao were left in the clinic.

“Will he be okay?” ask Pan Mei.

“She will do it if she can get treated right away. But the risk remains. Thrombosis may have gotten into his heart,” Wang Yao said.

“I think he's really scary,” said Pan Mei.

“That's my fault,” said Wang Yao. “I can say it in a better way. Now she is shocked and scared which could make things worse.”

Wang Yao was somewhat guilty.

“You did it out of kindness,” said Pan Mei.

“Alright, I have to go now,” said Wang Yao.

Pan Mei gave Wang Yao a red envelope filled with cash before she left as usual.

“Thank you,” said Wang Yao.

“Ride safely,” says Pan May.

What happened to the middle-aged patient made Wang Yao realize that he could do better while communicating with the patient. He not only needed medical skills but also communication skills. He can gain medical skills through studies and systems, but he must gain communication skills through work experience, not any books.

The next day was Wednesday; w.a.n.g Yao went to Renhe's clinic again as usual. A middle-aged woman came in around 11am.

“Halo, Pan May, is Dr. Wang is here today?” ask the middle-aged woman.

“Ya, what do you need it for?” ask Pan Mei.

“I just want to thank you personally,” said the middle-aged woman with a smile.

“Thank you to him? Is your father better?” ask Pan Mei.

“Yes, she is no longer in critical condition thanks to your clinic. The doctors from the hospital said she would not survive if her treatment was delayed for an hour or two!” said the middle-aged woman.

“Good. He is here today; you can find him in his clinical space,” Pan Mei said.

Thank me?!

Wang Yao was surprised to see the middle-aged woman.

“Patients suffering from heart disease are my father,” said the middle-aged woman.

“I understand.” Wang Yao immediately realized what was happening.

After thanking Wang Yao, the woman took out a red envelope and placed it on the table.

“I just want to give this as an expression of my gratitude. Accept it,” said the middle-aged woman.

“Thank you. But I can't take the red envelope from the patient,” Wang Yao refused to accept the red packet immediately.

Wang Yao took a long time and a great effort to convince the woman to take back her money. Some of Wang Yao's patients came to the clinic to thank him, but this was the first time for him to get an envelope of money from a patient.

“I'm glad your father is free from danger,” said Wang Yao.

“Thank you. I won't bother you anymore then. See you soon, Dr. Wang,” said the middle-aged woman.

“OK, see you later,” said Wang Yao.

The middle-aged woman thanked Wang Yao repeatedly before leaving.

Wang Yao was delighted to receive the award from his patient or family members. Although he looked calm on the outside, no one did not like to be praised, not even the saints.

As it was almost noon, Wang Yao asked Wang Mingbao if he wanted to join him for lunch. Wang Mingbao came, but he was not alone. He came with Wei Hai.

Wei Hai came to have lunch with Wang Yao and Wang Mingbao, as well as asking Wang Yao to check on her health. He brought two boxes of tea. Tea is valuable and not cheap. Wei Hai wanted to give it to Wang Yao as a gift.

“Hey, I thought you treated Me as your close friend. Why don't you bring me some good tea?” janda Wang Mingbao.

“I will bring you another day,” Wei Hai said with a smile.

“Let me see you first,” advice Wang Yao.

“Sure,” says Wei Hai.

Wang Yao checked Wei Hai's pulse.

“Well, your pulse is stronger and firmer than the last time I saw you. Are you still vomiting blood?” asked Wang Yao.

“No, but I still have blood in my stool,” Wei Hai said.

Wei Hai was initially frightened as he vomited and spat out blood on his stool. But now, he was used to it. He had accepted that that was how the poison was removed from his body.

“You know? Since I started to improve, my sleep quality has improved greatly. To be honest, I couldn't sleep well for a long time. I always wake up in the middle of the night and have nightmares. I understand now that I don't need to make billions. No one can buy health!” said Wei Hai.

“Good you finally know what you want,” said Wang Yao.

After a simple lunch, Wang Yao and Wang Mingbao sat in Wei Hai's shop for a while to rest.

Something's not right.

Wang Yao looked around at Wei Hai's shop. He stood up and walked around and found that Wei Hai's shop was quite large. It has two stories. Wang Yao estimated the shop should be at least 200 square meters. He guessed that the store would be very expensive because of its size and location. They were on the second floor, and Wang Yao felt somewhat cold inside.

“Have you ever stayed here?” asked Wang Yao.

“Ya, why?” said Wei Hai.

“Don't you think something's wrong here?” asked Wang Yao.

“Well, not really,” said Wei Hai after thinking for a moment. In fact, Wei Hai wasn't in good health, so he couldn't be sharp enough to sense something wrong in the store. Wang Yao, on the other hand — his five senses were much sharper than the average person, and he became even more sensitive after remaining in the spirit gathering battle line.

“Is something wrong here?” ask Wei Hai.

“I think the room is too dark. Why is the window blocked?” Wang Yao pointed to that blocked window. It was a bright and sunny day, but the sunlight could not penetrate the window.

“Good questions. I don't know why they're blocked. The window was like this when I bought this place, and I didn't notice it. Now you mention it. I agree that it is a bit strange if those windows are blocked. By the way, do you know Feng Shui?” wei Hai asked in surprise.

“No. I just felt cold when I entered this room. It's good to have more sunlight indoors; it's good for your health, especially since it's spring now, so the sunlight isn't too strong, ” said Wang Yao.

“Causible. I'll arrange for people to unblock that window in the afternoon. Can you check out the other areas of my shop? I'll change it if something goes wrong.” Wei Hai trusted Wang Yao completely now. He would take any advice from Wang Yao even if Wang Yao recommended him to destroy the building.

“I think other places are fine for now,” said Wang Yao.

He went to Renhe Clinic after staying in Wei Hai's shop for a while.

“Hey, Mingbao, do your friends really know Feng Shui?” Wei Hai pulled up Wang Mingbao's sleeves gently and asked after Wang Yao left.

“Are you kidding? No!” wang Mingbao Laughing.

“You mentioned that he studied biology at university. Now he can take care of patients and become an amazing doctor. Why do you think he doesn't understand Feng Shui? I don't think Feng Shui is harder to understand than medicine,” Wei Hai said.

“Well, you are reasonable,” Wang Mingbao said after thinking for a moment.

“Maybe she also knows Feng Shui. Ask her when you have the chance, ” Wei Hai said.

Not so many patients in the clinic in the afternoon. Those who come to the doctor only have a cold or headache—nothing special. They just came to get the recipe. There were three doctors in the clinic besides Wang Yao. They were drinking tea and talking. Wang Yao was much younger than them, so he did not join their conversation. Instead, he studied acupuncture.

Suddenly, the sky went dark.

“I've been sleep deprived lately,” said one of the doctors.

“What's wrong with you?” ask another doctor.

“I guess it's because I'm getting older and weaker!” said the doctor.

“Well, ask Dr. Wang to see you. He's very good at treating people like you, ” said another doctor.

“Dia? Forget it!” said the doctor.

He sounded insulting and jealous.

“Haha, you are still the same — too proud!” laughing at the other doctors.

Although they spoke in an extremely low voice, Wang Yao was able to hear the conversation clearly.

The old doctor!

Wang Yao shook his head and smiled. He knew what the doctors thought of him from the beginning. He could tell by the way they looked at him. Perhaps the doctors have slightly changed their view of him lately after he managed to cure some patients, but deep down they still thought he was a young and inexperienced doctor.

Parents are often stubborn.

Drops, falls. Something hit the window. The rain started to fall outside.

“Rain. I have to go pick up my granddaughter,” said one of the doctors.

“I have to go and pick up my grandson too,” said another doctor.

Not long after, all the doctors left. It's empty in the clinic again.

Well, just me again. I don't think any more patients are coming this afternoon.

Wang Yao put down his book around 5pm then opened the system panel.

I have three more days, and I need a confession from six more people.

Three days six people.

When he thought whether he should continue working in the clinic tomorrow, the number on the system changed from six to three, meaning he only needed the recognition of three more people. Wang Yao considered his potion beginning to have an effect on some patients who were beginning to appreciate his medical skills.

Maybe I can finish the mission tonight.

Wang Yao left the clinic and went home. While passing through the intersection, a woman suddenly ran to the middle of the road. Wang Yao had to brake hard in order not to hit him.

What the fuck!?

Wang Yao pressed the button to open the window and found the woman leaving in a hurry. He did not even see where he was heading and had no awareness of the path.

It seems like I've seen it somewhere, Wang Yao thought.

Beep it! It sounded! It sounded! The driver behind Wang Yao continued to press the horn on his car. As soon as Wang Yao was ready to accelerate, he had to stop as the traffic light changed.

The traffic light turned green, and Wang Yao slowly turned on her vehicle. But the driver behind him was so impatient that he overtook Wang Yao's vehicle at the intersection in front. As he passed by, he lowered the window and gave Wang Yao a middle finger.

“Hey, do you know how to drive a car? You are slow like a turtle! ” shouted the young driver.

As he was distracted while yelling at Wang Yao, he almost hit the scooter passing in front of him. He was shocked and deflected his car across the pedestrian path and hit a light pole. The front of the car dents, and the airbag comes out.

The incident shocked the passengers, as well as the driver.

If you don't do stupid things, they won't come back and bite you.
