After a while, everyone was full and started talking about where to go after dinner. The purpose of a schoolmate reunion is to give people opportunities to drink, eat, and play together.
“I have a suggestion. How about going to KTV next door?” yang Ming said loudly.
There is a KTV next to the Huasheng hotel, which is actually part of the hotel. It just opened a few years ago and the business is good.
“Good idea! Your treatment?” somebody's joking.
“No problem!” laughing Yang Ming.
“Are you going?” Li Shugang asked Wang Yao.
“No,” Wang Yao saw — hour already past 8pm. They will stay in KTV at least until 10 p.m. He won't be able to return home at midnight. Wang Yao did not want his parents to spend the entire night on the hill.
Everyone is out of the room after dinner and ready to have some fun on the next KTV. Yang Ming went to pay the bills.
Wang Yao was waiting in the hotel lobby when someone called out to him. He turned around and looked at Tian Tuyuan.
“Hai, Tian!” said Wang Yao.
“Hai, do you drink? If so, I will ask someone to give you a ride, ” Tian Tuyuan said with a smile.
“No, I don't. I'll go home by myself,” Wang Yao said.
“OK, contact me if you need Me,” Tian Tuyuan said.
“Sure,” said Wang Yao.
Tian Tuyuan patted Wang Yao on the shoulder and left.
Wang Yao walked out of the hotel. He deliberately kept a distance between her and the other schoolmates. A moment later, someone walked towards him.
“You don't want to go with us?” That's Him Hai.
“No, I have to go home. Can you tell Yang Ming? asked Wang Yao.
“OK, we can catch up in another day,” said He Hai. “How will you go home?”
“I'm driving,” said Wang Yao.
“Be careful on the road,” says He Hai.
After saying goodbye to He Hai, Wang Yao went to the parking lot alone. As soon as he started the car and got out of the parking lot, he saw someone standing on the sidewalk. The woman had long hair and wore a long coat. He looked a little anxious.
Wang Yao paused beside him, lowered the window and spoke to him.
“Tong Wei!” said Wang Yao.
“Wang Yao?” Tong Wei was surprised to see Wang Yao.
“Where are you? I can give you a ride,” Wang Yao said.
“Oke, thank you, I have to go to the hospital.” Tong Wei got into Wang Yao's car, which was suddenly filled with a fragrant perfume scent.
Wang Yao immediately went to the hospital.
“Someone in your family is sick?” w.a.n.g Yao asked as he looked at the anxious expression on Tong Wei's face.
“Yes, I just got a call from the hospital saying that my mother is in the hospital due to sudden dizziness,” Tong Wei said.
“Do not worry too much.” Wang Yao tried to comfort Tong Wei.
A few minutes later, the Audi A4 arrived.
“Halo, where are you?” The slightly drunk Yang Ming got out of his car and called Tong Wei because he could not find him.
“Halo, Yang Ming,” Tong Wei picked up the phone.
“Where are you? I will take you to the hospital,” Yang Ming said.
“Don't worry about me. I'm on my way to the hospital right now. You have to stay with the others. Thanks too!” tong Wei said with his angelic voice.
“Wait a minute, I'm going to the hospital!” Yang Ming hung up the phone and went to the hospital. To her, the beautiful Tong Wei would always be her priority.
Wang Yao and Tong Wei arrived at the hospital a short while later. Tong Wei's mother had been examined and diagnosed. He had a mild stroke, but not very serious. He is receiving treatment in the neurologic department of the hospital.
“Sure, but I will go with you if you need help,” Wang Yao said.
“You don't need to come with me,” said Tong Wei.
“No problem, let's go,” urged Wang Yao.
They both took the elevator to the neurology department, located on the 15th floor. Tong Wei's brother and father were already waiting there. His mother was in one of the hospital rooms.
“How's Mom?” tong Wei asked worriedly.
“He felt dizzy at home and asked your sister to take him to the hospital. Fortunately, we arrived on time. He just connected to the infusion,” Tong Wei's father said.
“Do you want to introduce your friend?” asked Tong Wei's brother, who pointed at Wang Yao.
“Sure. This is my old school friend, Wang Yao. He drove me here, ” said Tong Wei. “This is my brother and this is my father.” Tong Wei turned to Wang Yao and introduced his family to him.
“Halo,” Wang Yao said with a smile.
“Halo,” said Tong Wei's father, who rated Wang Yao higher.
“I think it's better I leave if you don't need Me anymore,” Wang Yao told Tong Wei.
“OK, let me take you out,” said Tong Wei.
“No, thank you, stay with your family,” said Wang Yao.
Tong Wei was still walking with Wang Yao to the elevator and watching him leave. His phone started ringing again. He looked at the name of Yang Ming that appeared on his phone but was unwilling to pick it up.
Ten minutes later, Yang Ming, who smelled of alcohol came to the hospital with a gift in his hand.
“Hai, Tong Wei, how is your mother?” asked Yang Ming.
“He did an intravenous injection. He'll be fine. I told you not to come,” said Tong Wei.
“How can I not be here?” said Yang Ming.
He stayed in the hospital room for a while to talk to Tong Wei's brother and father. Then he called someone he knew in the hospital.
“I know someone who works at this hospital. He said he'd come to see your mother tomorrow. I hope he can offer help, ” Yang Ming said.
“Thank you,” says Tong Wei.
A moment later, one of the schoolmates from the reunion party named Yang Ming.
“You should go with them,” said Tong Wei.
“Alright, I'm leaving. See you, uncle” said Yang Ming.
Yang Ming refused to leave. But he was the one who arranged the party, so he had to stay until they were done. Tong Wei's mother's condition was stable so she did not need to stay in the hospital. Plus, she still wants to catch up with some of her schoolmates who could help her career.
Tong Wei escorted Yang Ming to the elevator and waved at him.
“Wei, are they both chasing you?” Tong Wei's mother asked as soon as Tong Wei sat down.
“No, Ma'am,” Tong Wei's face flushed. He knew Yang Ming liked him, but he was unsure about Wang Yao.
“ Anyway, you have to choose a decent person to be your future husband. Marriage will affect your whole life,” Tong Wei's mother said.
“Bu, don't worry about me. You have to take care of yourself first. I will stay with you tonight, "said Tong Wei. He turned to his father and brother and said, “You can go home and rest.”
It was at half-ninepm when Wang Yao drove back to the village. He rushed to the hill and saw the lights in the hut were still on. San Xian dashed to Wang Yao and wagged his tail at him before he reached the hut.
Wang Yao walked into his cottage and found his father reading the scriptures.
