There are many philosophies in sayings from ancient China. In Han Feizi's ancient Chinese book, Explaining Laozi Using Metaphor, there is a famous story called Bianque Meeting Duke Caihuan. The famous ancient Chinese doctor, Bianque, diagnosed the Duke of Caihuan through a search method.
Bianque observed that the disease was initially present in the skin, then developed into muscles and internal organs. In the end, Bianque turned around and left as soon as he saw Duke Caihuan because he knew the disease had broken into Duke Caihuan's bones and became incurable.
Only a person like Bianque deserves the title of saint because he can identify the nature of his illness just by looking at the patient from a distance. It's like magic.
Bianque was the god of medicine in ancient China; he developed four methods of diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is also referred to as the founder of Chinese medicine.
Seeing and listening are not easy to understand. One must have a rich knowledge of Chinese medicine to have two skills. Wang Yao felt his head was about to explode as it was filled with knowledge from the system. He ended up having a headache, as if his head was pierced by thousands of needles. The skill of creating formulas without relying on books is quite incredible. Some people cannot understand it all their lives.
Some doctors only ask for symptoms without making any diagnosis before prescribing the drug. Some of them even prescribe the same remedy for ten different diseases. It will not end in severe consequences if the disease is not severe, but for severe and progressive diseases, such measures will only aggravate the disease.
