Trapped by One Night's Mistakes
Chapter 29

Kenedy heard the commotion in front of the Kingdom from the employees who gossiped, he immediately called Queen and Jovan to ask for an explanation.

"What's really going on? Why did Prince come here again?" Ask Kenedy.

Queen is nervous, she does not know what to explain to Papa, but quickly Jovan mastered the situation, he pretended to be a hero again for Queen.

"It looks like he still hasn't accepted because Kingdom defeated Emperor in the tender yesterday. He thought if we used dirty ways to win, that's why he came and happened to meet us earlier." Answer Jovan.

"It turns out that the Prince was similar to his boss, unable to accept defeat from others. You guys have to be careful." Sally Kenedy cynical. He becomes even more distasteful of Prince and Steven.

"Hmmm .. but, Pa ...." Queen wants to say if Prince claims someone stole information from Emperor, but Jovan interrupts quickly before Queen can talk.

"Miss Queen, I'm sorry that I've been disrespectful to you. I'm forced to do that to protect you." Jovan talked to sweet-ass. The irritated Queen simply rolled her eyes lazily.

"That's it, it's okay, Jo. You and the Queen are good friends, so it doesn't matter. Thank you for protecting my daughter." Kenedy was happy.

"Yes, you're welcome, sir." Jovan Reply.

The next day ...

Braaaq ...

Kenedy kicked the table to vent his heart's frustration, how not? For the number of times the company he led lost the tender from the company of his arch-enemy.

"How did this happen? I'm pretty sure we'll win this time, but what is this?" Kenedy spoke in a high tone in his room. Queen and Jovan were just speechless with their respective thoughts.

"Queen, this is your first project, right? Have you been really thorough in making an offer to Mr Luis?" Kenedy asked his daughter.

"Is that so, Jo?" Kenedy turned to Jovan.

"Yes, Sir!" Jovan nodded his head.

"I'm sure Emperor must have again used a dirty way to win." Grumpy Kenedy.

"We can't be prejudiced just yet, sir. It's the first time Miss Queen has handled a tender project, maybe she still needs a lot to learn. I should have paid more attention to it." Sela Jovan is good. Queen stares cynically at him, she grows suspicious if all this is Jovan's interference, but the cunning man is careless.

"Hmmm .. Yeah, you're right too, Jo. I shouldn't have given this project to Queen." Kenedy was full of regrets. Queen was really upset to hear that. But he had no reason to defend himself.

"I'm sorry, sir. Because I proposed that Miss Queen handle this project." Jovan pretended to be sorry even though in his heart he was very satisfied because he managed to make Kenedy regret his decision to bring Queen to join the Kingdom.

"Here you go, in the future I want you all to be more thorough and co-operative, especially you, Queen!" Pinta Kenedy is firm.

"Yes, Pa." Queen replied with a sullen face. While Jovan smiled faintly.

Meanwhile in Emperor, the atmosphere was inversely proportional. Steven laughed gleefully, he was completely satisfied with Prince's work, again his company won from its rivals.

He called Prince and Rafael into his room, and praised Prince in front of Rafael.

"Good job, Prince. You are reliable, great! I'm sure now Kenedy must have had a stroke because he lost to me. Ahhaha ..."

"Thank you, sir." Prince answered with a flat face. He should be happy, but he doesn't feel that way at all.

Whereas Rafael only glanced at Prince with anger, he was envious because Prince had always been superior to him. If Prince wasn't around, he'd be the one to get that compliment.
