Chapter 31

Queen comes to Mitha's cafe, telling her what has happened, from Prince returning his phone and fighting with Jovan, to Kingdom's defeat in Mr. Luis' project. Mitha believes there is something strange, both the attitude of Prince and the defeat of the Kingdom.

"From Prince's attitude, it looks like he's jealous to see you and Jovan."

"What the hell, Mit? Don't make it up!" Deny Queen.

"Yes, Queen. I think maybe Prince is in love with you. So all this time he's been chasing you and bothering you, he's been looking for a reason to be close to you." Mitha tried to guess.

"Mitha, I'm being serious! Don't say the no! An evil man and a bastard like him wouldn't understand what love is."

"Queen, he is also an ordinary human like us, love can also come to him." Mitha.

"Haaa ...? Didn't Elsa and Jovan just do it at the hotel about a month ago? Is Elsa cheating on Rafael? Or vice-versa? Besides, we don't know when Elsa and Jovan were together." Queen Sahut.

"Hmmm .. You have a point too. I'm increasingly convinced that they have something to do with the theft of information from the Emperor at that time."

"Then we have to take them undercover." Reply Queen excited.

"Ready!" Mitha placed the back of her hand near the temple like giving a salute. And Queen replied with a smile.

"Oh yeah, did the Emperor invite Kingdom to their corporate anniversary?" Ask Mitha.

"Until now I have not heard any invitation from them. It's good that they didn't invite Kingdom." Answer Queen.

"But if they send you an invitation, will you leave?"

"Of course not! Why did I come, I didn't want to see the devil." Said Queen cynically. Mitha only smiled looking at Queen's annoyed face when it came to Prince.

The next day, Jovan meets Kenedy in his room. He brought an invitation from Emperor.

"Would they invite us? They must have had a foul intention!" Accuse Kenedy of being upset without touching the invitation.

"Are you going to attend?" Ask Jovan.

"No! I'm not going to attend." Kenedy replied.

"Hmmm .. but, sir. They've invited us, if no one from the Kingdom comes, people will think we are hostile to the Emperor or envious of them. That wouldn't be good for this company. Especially there must be a lot of businessmen and journalists." Jovan tried to provoke Kenedy.

"Yes, you're right too. But I really don't want to come and see him."

"What if Miss Queen and I were the only ones attending the event, sir." Jovan gave a proposal.

"But what if the man named Prince was harassing Queen? He'll be there." Kenedy was a little hesitant and anxious.

"Just calm down, sir. I'll take care of Miss Queen. After all, there were many people and many journalists, he would not dare to do anything that could damage his reputation."

Kenedy was silent for a moment, he tried to think about the proposal given by Jovan.

Meanwhile, in a different place, Rafael is persuading Elsa to attend the anniversary Emperor event. Elsa objected to coming, as she was afraid that Jovan would also attend the event as Kingdom's representative.

"Did you guys invite Kingdom?" Ask Elsa.

"It looks so." Reply Rafael.

"Will their side be present?"

"I'm sure they won't be present. They had no face left after losing so badly yesterday." Sahut Rafael is sure.

"You sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure. Why why?" Rafael looked at Elsa with a probing look, making the woman nervous.

"Hmmm .. no. It's okay anyway. Yeah, I'm definitely coming." Elsa forced her lipped smile to cover her nervousness. But somehow there was a little bit of suspicion in Rafael's mind.
