Trapped by One Night's Mistakes
Chapter 49

Suddenly two men emerged from behind the bushes carrying long-barreled rifles, one large and plontos-headed while the other was tall with a thick mustache. The two spooky looking men stared intently at the Prince and Queen.

Queen tightened her grip on Prince's arm, her heart pounding even more. Likewise with Prince, the beautiful man began to worry. But they didn't realize something was threatening them.

"What are you guys doing here?" ask the man with the head of the plontos.

"We were chased by bad people and got lost in this forest" Prince replied honestly.

"Bad guy?" the plontos-headed man fused his eyebrows together.

"Aaaaawww.." cried Queen as she lifted her left leg.

Prince and the two men stared at the Queen's feet in surprise.

"Why?" ask Prince.

"Snorpions! Get out of there!" pinta tall man.

Prince immediately pulled Queen away from where they were standing and sure enough, there were three scorpions that were wandering near them standing earlier and one of them had stung Queen's feet.

"Oh, my legs hurt a lot." Queen whimpering in pain.

Prince panicked, he was confused about what to do in the middle of the forest like this?

"Come, get him! He has to get help" said the man with the head of the plontos who also looked panicked.

"Follow us!"

"D-yes."

Without a second thought, Prince immediately carried the Queen bridal style and hurried to follow the two men who had stepped in front of them. Along the way, Queen kept moaning in pain. Prince was very anxious and panicked, he really could not bear to see the woman who had stolen his heart in such pain.

"Hold on." said Prince.

"My leg hurts so much. Aduuuhh ..." whining Queen.

They walked in a hurry, splitting the thickets that covered the path. Prince and Queen don't know, where are these two creepy-looking men going to take them?

"Sorry, where are we going?" Prince dared to ask.

"Go back to the village and treat it." said the tall, thick-moustached man.

They further accelerated his pace, as Queen's legs began to swell and redden while the woman was unceasingly moaning in pain. After walking for about three hundred meters, they finally arrived at a densely populated village. Some people looked at their arrival with suspicious gazes while whispering to each other. The children who had been running around, were suddenly stunned to look at them.

"Well, Mr. Channa hunting it can be city people." ledek a curly-haired woman who was drying corn.

"Who are they, Mr Channa?" ask a fat mother.

"My guest is from the city, ma'am" replied the plontos-headed man called Mr. Channa.

They continued their steps until they stopped at a simple white-painted house with a wooden sign that read BIDAN CHANDARA. R.

"Nong, hurry up and help!" channa yells boozy.

"Yes, wait a minute." a young lady suddenly came from behind the house in a hurry, and looked at them with a puzzled look. "Who are they, Pa?"

"Later Pa explain. Now quickly treat this woman."

"Yes, Pa, yes." the woman nodded obediently. "Lay him there." he then showed me a simple wooden bed that was lying in the corner of the room.

Prince immediately approached the bed and laid Queen's frail body on the blue three-foot bed, while Queen only resigned while continuing to grimace in pain.

"Sung by a scorpion." replied Prince, his handsome face still looked anxious.

The woman immediately took care to treat the wound on Queen's leg stung by the scorpion.

"Don't worry, he'll be fine. We'd better wait outside, let Nong treat him." Channa patted Prince on the shoulder and passed away.

"All right."

With a little hesitation, Prince left Queen and followed Channa who had already sat on the terrace.

"Cigarettes?" channa asked while giving her pack of cigarettes to Prince.

"Sorry, I don't smoke."

Channa pulled back her hand and kept the pack of cigarettes on the table, white smoke started flying around them sitting. Not far from them, the tall, thick-moustached man was sitting fiddling with his rifle.

"You haven't been able to explain, why can you be chased by bad people until you get lost in the forest?" Channa asked without further ado.

"She was kidnapped by her former employees and I tried to save her. But the guy chased us and wanted to finish us off, so we ran into the woods and ended up lost" Prince said honestly.

"Motif hurt apparently." said Channa then exhaled white smoke from her nose and mouth. "It's a good thing you met us, otherwise you would be eating tigers and other wild animals" Channa continued.

Prince gulped for the sake of hearing Channa's words, he was certainly grateful to be out of the forest even though he did not know whether Channa was a good person or not.

"Where are you from?"

"From Bandung, sir."

Channa exhaled and threw her cigarette butts into the courtyard of the house, her gaze staring far away as if there was something she saw ahead of her.

"My sister used to go to school in Bandung, but ever since that sad incident, we never saw her again. Somehow fate now."

"Hemmm, sorry. If you'd know what happened, sir?" the Prince asked.

Channa did not have time to answer, the voice of the woman called Nong first grabbed their sense of hearing. "It's over."

The Prince's gaze and everyone turned to the white-faced, pure-skinned woman who was already standing on the doorstep.

"How's the condition?" ask Prince impatiently.

"good. I cleaned and treated his wounds. I also gave pain medication. And most importantly, her conceived fetus was also fine." the woman explained with a glaring smile.

And really, what he said really surprised Prince, the man with the sharp nose was stunned with perfectly rounded eyes.

"Fetus?"

"Yes, your wife is pregnant. Her age is about five weeks. Don't tell me you don't know if she's pregnant?" the woman looked at Prince with a look. She misunderstands that she thinks Queen is Prince's wife.

The prince was more and more astonished, he was certainly confused by what was happening. He doesn't know this is good or bad news? But Prince soon took control of her.

"Hemmm, i-iya .. I don't know yet. That's why I'm shocked." replied Prince nervously.

"Yes, geez. Then congratulations."

Prince tried to force a smile, even though his heart was not careless. " I'll go inside first. Excuse me."

The Prince immediately moved and went inside to meet the Queen. Channa looked at Prince's departure with a shrunken forehead.
