Chapter 5

After talking to Mitha earlier and thinking things through carefully, Queen made up her mind.

For a week locked in the room, the beautiful woman finally went out to see her parents.

"Queen, thank God you finally want to get out of the room too." Sandra said gratefully.

"I'm sorry I've worried you guys." Queen is sorry.

"That's it, baby." Sandra rubbed the Queen's shoulders with affection.

"What actually happened? You got a problem?" Kenedy looked at Queen's face.

"Hmmm .. nothing, Pa. There was just a misunderstanding with my friend, but it's over now." Queen replied lying, she tried to smile to make it look okay.

"Honey, next time if there's a problem, you tell Mama or Papa, don't hold it yourself. Especially to shut yourself up like this." Sandra advised her only daughter.

"Yes, Ma." Queen Sahut. "Oh yeah, Pa. Can I join the Kingdom?" Ask Queen without further ado.

"Of course, honey. That's the purpose of Papa sending you to England, so that you can become a reliable businessman and can replace Papa later."

"But I just graduated college and don't have any experience yet, Pa." Sela Queen's.

"You can learn from Papa and Jovan." Kenedy.

Hearing the name Jovan, Queen's blood seemed to boil. It felt like he wanted to ask Papa to fire the goddamn guy, but he had no good reason.

"Darling, why are you daydreaming?" Kenedy touched Queen's hand, breaking the woman's daydream.

"Haa .. yes, Pa. I will definitely study well. So when can I start?"

"If you're ready, tomorrow will be. Isn't faster better?" Answer Kenedy girang. He really wanted his daughter to help him in the Kingdom.

"All right, tomorrow I'll start. Now I rest first. Good night."

"Yes, get some rest, honey. Good night." Reply Sandra and Kenedy together.

The Queen took her seat and stepped into the room, turning her back to her parents, a sneer imprinted on her face.

The day changed, this morning Queen was ready to start her plan. Kenedy eagerly introduced the princess to all her employees and asked them to help Queen in understanding how the company works, all employees warmly welcomed Queen's arrival.

Queen circulated her gaze, looking for the figure of Jovan who had been invisible.

Where's the son of a bitch?

To answer his curiosity, Queen finally asked Papa.

"Hm .... Pa, where's Jovan? Why don't I see it?"

"Oh, he must be in his room." Answer Kenedy.

"Can I see him? I haven't seen him in a long time." Ask Queen.

"Of course, honey. He's your friend, and you'll soon be co-workers. Papa will take you to his room."

Jovan who was talking to someone on the phone gasped when the door of his room was knocked from outside.

"Yes, baby. Someone's coming." Said Jovan who rushed to end his conversation.

"Please enter!" Pinta Jovan is firm.

The brown-painted door was wide open and featured the authoritative figure of Kenedy Ravindra who was none other than the owner of Kingdom Corporation.

Seeing the arrival of his superior, Jovan immediately stood up and lowered his head in salute.

"Good morning, sir!" Greetings Jovan.

"Good morning, Jo." Reply Kenedy.

"Good morning, Jovan." Queen's soft voice grabbed Jovan's ears, making the man's head rise and looked at the woman standing behind Kenedy with rounded eyes.

"Queen ...?" Said slowly.

"Jo, from today Queen will join us. I want you to teach him everything about this company until he's ready to replace me." Kenedy said firmly.

"Haa ..i-iya, sir." Jovan answered nervously. He still did not understand why the Queen had suddenly joined the Kingdom?

"Then, Papa stay first. You can talk both."

"Yes, Pa."

Kenedy came out of Jovan's room, left Queen there. As far as the middle-aged man knew it, Jovan was the older brother of Queen's friend and they were good friends. So when the princess asked him to accept Jovan to work in the Kingdom five years ago, Kenedy agreed.

And thanks to Jovan's good work skills, Kenedy also appointed him as a marketing manager and a confidant.

After Kenedy's departure, Jovan immediately approached the Queen who was still standing while holding her sidekick.

"Queen, I miss you. I tried to get in touch with you but you didn't answer me, I wanted to go to your house, but there's no reason for me to go there." Said Jovan standing in front of the Queen.

"Oh, huh?"

"Queen, I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. I can explain everything. I'm in the trap." Jovan was about to hug Queen, but she quickly pushed him.

"So your attitude! How dare you touch the son of your boss." Snap Queen swagger.

"Queen ...? Why are you like this? I'm sorry, honey." Jovan didn't give up, he took Queen's hand again.

"Take me off! Or I'll yell and accuse you of harassing me!" Threaten the Queen with emotion. Jovan complied and kept his hands away from Queen.

"Darling ..." Jovan.

"I'm not going to mince words, I just want to say, get ready to get out of here. Men don't know themselves!" Queen said coldly and soon passed from Jovan's room.

Jovan looked at the back of Queen who disappeared behind the door with a furious feeling.

"You think it'll be that easy to get me off my feet from here? Your delusion is too high, dear." Jovan said cynically.
