Chapter.56 You are different

Charly pulls out of the car with a head full of various questions that still continue to bother him. While Tiara he left in Rere's apartment, because he wanted to stay there. He walked into the house and then started climbing the stairs.

Ramon who had just come out of the kitchen was seen staring at Charly with a deep frown. He then follows Charly with dinner in his hand.

"You're home yet? Hows it? What happened to Tiara? She told you everything, Charly?" Ramon immediately gives Charly a series of questions while continuing to follow his best friend.

"I'm tired, I want to take a shower first" Charly replied after the two got to the doorstep, he then walked in and closed the door tightly, leaving Ramon who was just looking at her with a confused face.

"Why him?" muttered Ramon while turning back and choosing to go into his own room.

Meanwhile, Charly walked towards the bathroom while removing one by one the cloth covering his athletic body. She then stood under the shower and let the cold water wash over her entire body. Repeatedly she was restoring her hair while exhaling a rough breath, as if to release the stifling weight inside her chest.

The shadow of all his conversations together with Tiara, or perhaps Liora, continued to fill all his thoughts to the point of making him unable to think anything else. Charly stayed there for a long time until he finally chose to move after the cold had almost reached his bones.

I don't know what she's feeling now when Tiara blatantly claims to be Liora, a gangster leader famous for her beauty all over California. The target of the mission he never completed, because until now he could not even find the body of the woman in the ocean. Somehow his fate, no one knew at all, including him. To be sure, after that incident, the gangster that had been led by Liora was like disappearing into the earth, their elites were unknown to exist until now.

Charly came out of the bathroom with a towel looking up at his waist, he seemed to stop his steps when he saw Ramon who now seemed to be lying on his bed.

"What are you doing here?" charly asked as he continued his steps towards the closet and picked up a shirt for himself to wear.

Ramon seemed to wake up then sat on the edge of the bed, he looked at Charly with lazy eyes. Her lips seemed to be throbbing annoyed at Charly who looked indifferent.

"I want to ask for an explanation of what happened this afternoon" Ramon replied, straight to the point.

"I'm hungry, give me some food first, and then I'll tell you what you want to know" Charly replied as he walked out of the room.

"Ck!" Ramon clucked in annoyance as he walked following Charly who seemed to be ignoring him altogether.

Meanwhile, Tiara is seen sitting alone on Rere's balcony, while Davi has been sleeping in her room after she was tired of waiting for Tiara to come home for the day. Tiara had just shown a copy of the video inside the flash disk that Tiara found in front of Dery's workspace, the woman also seemed surprised by what Dery had been doing all along.

"May I have a copy of this video? I'm gonna show it to my dad, so he can help me think of putting pressure on the shareholders in Dery's company. I'm sure they won't be able to fight back if my father speaks" Rere said with a very convincing face.

"really? You want to help me, Re?" tanya Tiara was enthusiastic, who immediately got a nod from Rere.

"What about Charly? Does he know what happened to you now?" rere asked after the two had long been silent and preoccupied with their respective thoughts.

The present Tiara, was an independent, courageous, and more resolute figure. Much different from the old Tiara, who had a gentle nature, was a little closed and unwilling to trouble others. Her suspicions grow even greater when she sees if Tiara can even order an illegal weapon and do things she knows, the former Tiara could not.

"A–what do you mean, Re?" tiara asked who did not understand the meaning of Rere. After he had gone out of the hospital and made peace with the circumstances, they never again discussed who he really was. Until now, when Rere suddenly talked about all that, Tiara became shocked beyond measure.

Rere smiled blandly, he then slightly lowered his head while exhaling softly before looking back at the surprised face of Tiara who was now no longer Tiara.

"I've been Tiara's best friend ever since we went to college. All this time he only had me, and so did I. So, I know very well how Tiara is, and it's very different from you now" Rere said with teary eyes.

"I tried to believe that all your changes during this time were caused by the effects of your accident and forget the memories you experienced. But, I then realized, that Tiara had never come into contact with the black world. She was an innocent woman, who would even cry when she saw the sad scene in the movie. She was a gentle woman and would feel guilty, just for forgetting something small, like bringing Davi back, or even forgetting to say happy birthday to me."

"I knew then that if you weren't a Tiara, you were different, even very different. When I look and remember our togetherness, I realize that attitudes, traits, ways of thinking, and everything seems different, it's just that I've been closing down where you two will be different."

Liora swallowed her saliva with great difficulty, she never expected that the confession from Rere her chest was so tight from enduring the pain in her heart. Somehow all that could happen, Liora was confused by her own feelings. He used to want everyone to know who he really was and help him to come back, but now .. when Rere had realized everything, he felt immeasurable pain.

"So you've realized that I'm not a Tiara?" liora asked softly, who immediately got a nod of Rere's head.

"Then, why do you still want to help me do whatever I plan to do, Re? Why do you just trust me?" Liora lowered her head deeply, she hid the tears that had already fallen unstoppably.

"Because I know that everything you've done all this time is only for Davi and Tiara's sake" Rere replied while wiping away the tears that had soaked his cheeks. He then looked at Liora who looked still lowered her head.

"Whoever you are, even if you are not a Tiara once, I will still consider you as a friend. If all this happens and you will return to your body someday, then I hope you will still consider me as your best friend, and I will wait for you to come to me with your true appearance," said Rere, who made Liora unable to hold back her sobs.

Liora who had thought that she would not be accepted by Rere, after the woman found out the truth, now seemed to get back to getting something very surprising was also so happy. He was truly grateful for this second life, because here he was met with sincere and kind people.

"You're not mad at me? For having made the decision to live Tiara and Davi, when I was none of them?" ask Liora.

"I'm sure, all your decisions are correct and that's what Tiara had always wanted. I'm sure, if only Tiara saw everything you did for her and her child, then she would be very grateful to you," Rere replied with a faint smile on his face.

"I hope so, too," said Liora sincerely.

Meanwhile, without both of them knowing, from behind the door of the room, Davi seemed to wipe his tears, hearing all the conversation from the two women in front of him.
