Umm Sibyan

Umm Sibyan
Chapters 1. Umm Sibyan

Allahuakbar Allahuakbar!

Azan maghrib was heard echoing from the mushola loudspeaker not far from Aruna's house. Aruna closed the windows of the house. When Aruna's gaze was thrown out through the glass of her house, the sky seemed thick, not as usual. Aruna's eyebrows furrowed deep. "That's weird," he murmured.

"Wamma! Quickly close the entire window and front door!" squealing sounds from the direction of the kitchen, which makes Aruna's daydream jerk.

"Yes, Mom! This is what I'm doing!" aruna answered and immediately did her job. However, Aruna can not move quickly because the age of the womb is seven months and the condition of the stomach is enlarged.

Aruna arrived at the door of his house. The door has two layers. The layer inside is a wooden door like most doors, while the outer layer is an iron door like a fence, so it can show the view behind it.

Aruna was glued. I don't know what held him back from staying there, staring at his roomy yard. It was like something was holding Aruna's leg up.

"Moona!" peekik Bu Gayatri again. His mother appeared with a tired face.

Aruna regained her senses and hurried to close the door. "Sorry, Mom. It was even carried away by a calming afternoon atmosphere," said Aruna with a sweet smile.

Ms. Gayatri shook her head slowly. "Close first can't, Na. Azan maghrib is done. It is not good if the windows and doors are still open. Moreover, you are pregnant again," his advice that now helps close the curtain.

"What's the matter, Mom? What does pregnancy have to do with Maghrib time?" asked Aruna while giggling amusedly. The age of his mother can indeed be called reasonable if you still believe such a myth.

Ms. Gayatri was cracking slowly. Annoyed and angry at his daughter who is difficult to advise on mystical things. "That's it. Don't think too much. Come on, let's eat!" take him along while leading Aruna's arm towards the dining room.

Of course, that made Aruna upset. His curiosity had not been answered, but his mother seemed reluctant to explain. When he arrived at the dinner table, Aruna again threw a question. "Mom? So, what does that mean? I wouldn't believe that Mom wasn't specific," she said, and Ms. Gayatri simply stared at the Princess.

"Why the hell, Yang? clear about what? To be specific?" Her husband's voice was heard entering the dining room. Aruna gasped and immediately went to welcome the return of her husband.

"Mas Kala! Hurry home? Not overtime, right?" runut Aruna immediately approached and greeted Kalandra. Her husband shook his head. A kiss on the forehead becomes a gift for Aruna. Then, Kala gently ruffled the top of his beloved wife's head.

"It just so happened that this afternoon was done. Yes, I came home early, too," Kala explained while looking at Aruna with a quiet look. Aruna's mouth was about to open, but her intentions were clouded when Ms Gayatri's voice came back.

"Then. Go to the bathroom first. No good new from the outside and Maghrib go straight to the wife who is pregnant." Hearing that, Aruna rolled her eyes panted, not out of thought with the attitude of her mother who still believes in such things.

"No need to pout like that. Follow the advice of the parents because we are more experienced," said Bu Gayatri before Aruna threw his protest.

Aruna exhaled a rough breath. His shoulders sagged, like he had no energy. "What's the matter, Mom? If you give me a reason, I'm definitely not going to protest much anymore," the sulk still can't accept the Mother's mythical idea.

Ms. Gayatri now looked at her daughter seriously, making Aruna change her facial expression to beg her mother for mercy to explain. "Mom had to say this for the safety of you and the baby you are carrying" she eventually broke up.

As she was about to start telling stories, Kala had returned to join the two, having dinner. "What the hell is it, Mom? Seriously so?" kala asked curiously, by dividing her focus to sit right next to Aruna.

Ms. Gayatri drew and exhaled before starting to tell a story. "So, every time the maghrib enters, all the windows, curtains, and doors must be closed. At that time, the exact change of day and night occurred, creatures from other worlds began to do their activities. Because they are just like us. Eat, drink, until you have a family."

Hearing that, Aruna's brows furrowed deeply. He throws a padangan at Kala who turns out to be just as confused. "Then, what does this have to do with my pregnancy, Mom?" tanyanya is still not satisfied with Bu Gayatri's explanation.

Bu Gayatri was silent for a moment with a dark look. "Those of the jinn are good, some are evil. There is also a genie figure that disturbs pregnant women and children less than two years old. He is Umm Sibyan."

Aruna laughed, making Bh Gayatri sigh tired. "Sibyan Umm? How do you look like that famous band?" aruna Ledek.

"That's a different name, Aruna. If you don't believe, you already do. Importantly, I've advised you," Bu Gayatri broke up and started scooping food into her mouth.

Kala who was also present in the room, somehow his hair felt goosebumps after hearing the explanation from his mother-in-law. He was silent and tried not to think about it.

After finishing eating, Kala and Aruna decided to enter the room. Ms. Gayatri who still wants to do other activities, came to the living room to be able to watch her favorite soap opera. When you sit down and turn on the television, for some reason the air in the room feels cold. In fact, he did not use AC or a fan.

Kriee..

Alis Bu Gayatri. He was very upset if the sound was a front door squeak. He hurried to walk into the living room. The wrinkle on his forehead grew when he found his door wide open. "Did Kala forget to close the door?" mummified Bu Gayatri astonished.

He threw his eyes out. The night is getting thick, but the time still shows at seven. Strange indeed. "Hopefully nothing bad will happen." Then, Ms. Gayatri closed the door tightly and locked it.
