Bugh.. Bugh.. Bugh..
Aruna who had just fallen asleep because since earlier his sleeping position was less comfortable, again forced his eyes to open after hearing a pounding sound on the side door of the house. When Aruna tried to sharpen her hearing, the voice was no longer heard.
“Maybe it was just my feeling,” muttered Aruna decided to go back to sleep. However, just as his eyes were closed, the voice again sounded up to three times the thump.
"Mas! Up, Mas!" aruna half whispered. Luckily, Kala was not difficult to wake up when it came to him. Her husband opened his eyes and rose from his sleep. Both of her eyebrows were already tangled in confusion as to why in the middle of the night like this, Aruna woke her up.
"Why, Yang?" tanyanya.
"So Mas heard the sound of the door in the gedor-gedor no?" asked Aruna a little scared. Hearing that, the pain in Kala's forehead deepened. "No. You hear that?" Aruna nodded in response.
Bugh. Bugh. Bugh.
"That's it, Mas. There was another voice," said Aruna in panic. Kala, who also heard the sound, chose to move and check toward the source of the sound. However, Aruna immediately prevented.
"Here you are, Mas. I'm afraid," he cried and Kala could only sigh violently.
"We should check, Yang. Fear of a thief or someone who intends evil," said Kala trying to give understanding. In the end, Aruna agrees to the Husband's proposal, but she also checks the situation. He did not dare to be left alone.
The two walked towards the side door of the house in a way to sneak. When I got there, there was no one behind the door. Kala had checked by opening it and looking around the outside of the house. "Nobody, Yang," told Kala, which made Aruna's mind cloudier. Moreover, Aruna had a glance at the clock on the wall that had shown twelve at midnight.
"Don't, she's a ghost that's been bothering me since yesterday, Mas" Aruna guessed when Kala decided to close the door again.
"Istighfar, Ying. Read the prayer. I will also help pray that nothing bad happens" said Kala trying to calm down. Kala decided to take Aruna back to the room. Upon arrival there, Kala was busy taking the face and the Quran to be given to his wife.
"Why this?" ask Aruna wonder.
"We pray for protection. As Mr. Hasan and Mother said, we must also pray for protection from God." Hearing that sentence, Aruna smiled sweetly. What her husband said is true. Aruna decided to take ablution water as well as Kala.
That night, Aruna and Kala prayed the night so that the anxiety that hit their lives could again subside. In the middle of the prayer movement that both did, the door slam was heard several times, followed by a sound on the roof like sown sand.
Aruna's mind was no longer afraid to imagine bad things would happen to him and his baby. However, he felt that he had become a selfless human being. When he is facing his Lord, his mind is full of world affairs. So, Aruna tries to prioritize the prayers that are being done, putting aside something that is not yet clear truth.
"Assalammualaikum warohmatullah." Hearing Kala say hello to the final sentence, Aruna said hello. After that, the two focused on each other's prayers.
Aruna finished praying first. Feeling thirsty, he decided to take the water to the kitchen. The atmosphere of the night is getting quieter, especially when Aruna can hear drops of water from the sink. In order for her vision to be clear, Aruna turned on the lights and immediately did her initial purpose of drinking.
Shanty.. Shanty..
The sound of gallon water was so clearly heard when Aruna tried to move the contents on a glass. After being fully charged, Aruna immediately downed until it ran out. Not yet the water entered the throat, Aruna saw an old woman hiding behind the curtain.
The water that was originally in his mouth, immediately scattered out. Aruna's eyes were already widened with her heart palpitating. When Aruna saw more clearly, the figure was outside the house, precisely in front of the glass window. Only her silhouette was visible, but Aruna could recognize that it was a hunchbacked old woman.
"Who is that?" muttered Aruna curiously. He never thought that it was a ghostly figure that had entered his dream. His head only rotates on the word thief or the bad guy.
With slow footsteps, Aruna settles down, approaching the window of her house. His fingers were ready to open the curtains. After adjusting her breath, Aruna slowly shifted the curtain in front of her and..
"Aargha!" Aruna screeched as the curtain had opened. His body reflexively retreated with a trembling state. Again. The figure that had come in a dream, had transformed into a real form.
"Arune... I want your baby." The echoes of a voice so softly rang out in Aruna's ears.
"No! My son! Go you!" peekik Aruna refused loudly. Aruna won't let the creature carry her child. A soft laugh could be heard echoing from the figure behind the window. The figure was still standing there covered in the curtains of his house.
"Go you!" shouted Aruna loudly. It was heard by Bu Gayatri and Kala who still continue to read the Quran.
"Wamma! What's up?" bu Gayatri asked in panic while carrying Aruna in an embrace.
"Moona!" He came out of the room with a worried and panicked face.
"Mom! The old grandma in my dream came true. He's in .. there." Aruna's voice turned soft at the end of the sentence when she did not find the figure again.
"What, Na? Whose old grandma?" ma'am Gayatri asked not to see anyone in the place that Aruna pointed. Then, Kala took the initiative to break the curtain and found no one.
"There's nobody, Na. You calm down, huh?" kala was calming. He took over the Wife from her mother-in-law, and then held her tight.
