Umm Sibyan
Chapters 30. Back home

"Relish!" Aruna shrieked loudly as her body seemed to be thrown very fiercely by something that Aruna could not see with her naked eyes. His body immediately felt crumpled dimly because it hit the floor quite hard.

However, Aruna was not discouraged by always reciting prayers for the salvation of his life. Whatever happens, Aruna is determined to get out alive from the hut she is currently in. Not much different from Aruna, the figure of the shaman of Sinta's belief was casting a spell that Aruna did not understand.

However, Aruna did not feel frightened and instead threw a sharp gaze at the shaman Sinta referred to as Mbah Sumanto. Prayers and mantras also fight to show who is the strongest until the sound of broken glass is heard and makes Sinta and Mbah Sumanto look panicked.

"You will never win against the truth" said Aruna softly as she tried to rise from her current position.

"Change! The ari-ari's broken!" sinta shouted so frantically and tried to take the ari-ari that she had cared for and guarded in a glass filled with life water. However, every quality he tried to take the ari-ari, at that time the ari-ari jumped and never succeeded for Sinta to reach.

Aruna who saw that also smiled with teary eyes. Not wanting to be satisfied, Aruna again recited the words of God as her mother had taught her first.

"Stop! Don't continue your words!" shouted Mbah Sumanto who was ignored by Aruna and continued to read prayers for God to protect him.

"Wamma! Stop that!" Now it is Sinta's turn to look blindly while covering both ears. The more forbidden, the more Aruna will do it in earnest. However, he forgot that Sinta still had energy and now ran up to him and ticked his neck quite tightly.

"Sin. ta.." said Aruna stammered as she felt her throat being entangled. Both hands also repeatedly hit Sinta's arm to release himself, and at that time Aruna stopped reciting prayers because she was too focused on the pain in her respiratory tract.

"Haha. I told you to stop, but you're still firm on your stand," said Sinta as her hands tightened around Aruna's neck and let go when she saw that Aruna's face was as pale as a corpse.

Because her body was too tired and weak, all Aruna could do at that time was recite a prayer even if it was only spoken in the heart. He believes in his belief that God is always with those who obey. He also believes that God's help is never too late and always on time.

Aruna could feel his body being knocked to the floor several times until now Aruna was lying helpless with the condition of the nose and the corner of the lips that had released a red liquid and smelled fishy.

"You will never win" said Aruna softly as she stared at an ari-ari still lying on the floor. Inwardly, Aruna asked the ari-ari to come closer and promised to embrace her. Perhaps, because Aruna was so fond of her future child and hoped for her son to return, the ari-ari also approached so quickly and went into Aruna's arms.

Aruna smiled happily with her eyes that were already shedding tears. However, it did not last long as Aruna's eyes began to darken. Before her consciousness was completely taken away, Aruna could see a huge burning fire and the screams from Sinta as well as Mbah Sumanto sounding deafening in the ears. Aruna was unconscious.
