Umm Sibyan

Umm Sibyan
Chapter 9. Trance

"Aargha!" Sinta screamed in annoyance as twelve o'clock the night passed by without producing anything. After performing the ritual at Aruna's house, Sinta thought the fetus in Aruna womb could move easily to her womb. In fact, until three in the morning, Sinta did not feel any signs.

"Why is it so hard? if the subtle way can not pull the fetus, then I will use the rough way," said Sinta with vengeful eyes. He who was originally sitting on the sofa in his living room, decided to head to the room. He had to sleep so that his energy could recover and carry out even stronger actions.

"Where tomorrow Mas Bowo comes home. It will make it difficult for me to leave the house at night," murmured Sinta feeling frustrated. In the end, he decided to go to sleep and would think of another shortcut when the day had changed by morning.

...----------------...

The Surya again stopped in the horizon, revealing his golden yellow light. Ms. Gayatri, who is still worried about Aruna's condition, could not sleep overnight and woke up at four in the morning.

Ms. Gayatri is not stupid for the signs that Aruna has been experiencing these days. He quite understands if Aruna's pregnancy is really in the target of supernatural beings. At six o'clock in the morning after he finished sweeping and mopping the floor, all the windows and doors of his house opened. Besides being useful for air change, he also wants his home to avoid negative things.

Every time he opened the door or window, he always said the words basmalah. After the whole window opened, Ms. Gayatri knocked on Aruna's door to get her daughter up early.

Tok. tok.

"Wamma! Wake up! It's noon. It's not good for pregnant women to wake up too late!" screech him so that the sound reaches into the room that Aruna occupies.

"Yes, Mom!"

Aruna's reply from inside the room made Bu Gayatri able to breathe a sigh of relief. At least, his daughter still woke up early even though she might not be able to sleep all night. He smiled and immediately walked into the kitchen.

When she arrived at the doorway connecting the living room with the kitchen, Ms. Gayatri stopped her steps with her body frozen in place. His heart wanted to escape when he saw Aruna standing in front of the dispenser while drinking water.

"Mother? Why are you standing there?" asked Aruna with a frown.

For a moment, Ms. Gayatri was worried between wanting to answer Aruna's question or making sure first if it was Aruna or not. He is certainly not that old until his ears are not able to hear well the voice of Aruna who is still in the room. So where is the real Aruna?

"Mother? Why?" ask Aruna again while approaching Bu Gayatri. Hearing Aruna's question, Ms. Gayatri awoke from her daydream. He shook his head slowly as his lips tried to review the smile so that his daughter would not have to worry.

"You... Since when was it in the kitchen?" asked Ms. Gayatri to make sure that what she had just experienced was just an illusion. It could be, Aruna replied when he was in the kitchen and he considered if the sound of Aruna came from the room, but it was not.

"I've been in the kitchen since. Why is it, Mom?" asked Aruna with her confused face.

The wrinkles on Aruna's forehead deepened. The daughter laughed softly, but the laughter slowly turned into such a creepy laugh. Aruna didn't want to stop laughing any longer, her voice getting louder.

"Wamma! Arunas! Why you!" bu Gayatri asked in fear when she saw that Aruna was out of control. He had to shake his daughter's body so that Aruna would wake up.

"Moona!" screeched Bu Gayatri again, but Aruna was still with her loud laughter.

"Mother! Mother why?" The question made Bu Gayatri speechless. Slowly, he looked back where the source of the voice came from. When he turned his head, his eyes widened. Apparently, Aruna has been standing behind him with a body condition like just waking up.

"Why are there two Arunas?" mummy Bu Gayatri confused.

"Mom why the hell?" asked Aruna again and Bu Gayatri could still hear Aruna's laughter which was currently his shoulder was holding. However, the laughter had changed smoothly like giggling laughter.

Ms. Gayatri took a deep breath before turning her gaze forward. His neck turned slowly with closed eyelids. He couldn't see anything worse if he opened his eyes.

"Mother?" The call from Aruna forced Bu Gayatri's eyes to open. And the first thing he saw when his eyes opened was the figure of an old woman smiling so creepily towards him.

"Aaaargh! Go you!" Bu Gayatri shouted and reflexed backwards then covered her face using a palm. Gayatri continued to shout hysterically to make Aruna wonder and try to resuscitate her mother.

"Mother! Mother why? Conscious, Mom! Istighfar!" yelled Aruna while patting her mother's cheek softly. However, his mother actually moved more and more directional, making Aruna forced to release her mother because she felt overwhelmed. Fortunately, not long after her husband came and tried to hold the mother who acted like a possessed person.

"Mother why, Yang?" ask Kala who also felt overwhelmed.

"Aaaaakhs! Go ye! Don't disturb!" it was Bu Gayatri who made Aruna cry in fear.

"Mas! How's this? Mom was suddenly like this. I just don't know because I just stood in the doorway. I did not call either. I was afraid, Mas," replied Aruna whose body was already trembling.

"You calm down. Let's take Mom to the room first. After that, then we can ask Mr. Ustad for help," replied Kala and Aruna agreed to her husband's proposal. It took a long time to bring Ms. Gayatri to the room because she was unconscious. In a sense, the soul that enters his body is not the original Bu Gayatri.

In the end, Ms. Gayatri was forced to be locked up in her room. After that, Kala came out of the house to ask for help from Mr. Ustadz who lived in a complex with his house. To avoid worrying about Aruna, Kala asked one of the neighbors to accompany her at home. However, Ms. Gayatri should not be left alone unattended as well as Aruna.

"Patience is it, Na. Ms. Gayatri will definitely be fine" said one of Aruna's neighbors named Bu Dian.
