"Dad? That means appa?" seok Jin asked, both of them.
Zahra glanced at him briefly and returned to the middle-aged man who was pigtailed as well as wearing sunglasses right standing next to him.
He did not know what to do in front of Seok Jin when he found his father surprised him at the wrong time.
Zahra had not expected to see the figure of her real father there. In a foreign country far from the shadows they can meet.
However, it seems like fate says otherwise, they meet again after so many years apart.
Disappointed, sad, sick into one makes his feelings in the fog.
"We're talking somewhere else."
Zahra bellowed at leaving Seok Jin just like that, while her father simply flicked his shoulders and followed where his first daughter was going.
"What's really going on here? Is that Zahra's real father?" muttered Seok Jin curiously, "I have to follow him." He left the cafeteria, not caring if everyone who was there kept watching.
The roof of the hospital becomes Zahra's goal to bring her father this time. He chose to go there because he knew no one else could come.
He can freely say anything to his father who has not been known for a long time. Instantly his feelings were mixed again accepting the reality.
However, after a long time of not seeing each other, emotions began to grow.
Zahra turned back to look fixedly at Aditya Buana, her own biological father.
"What else is this? What the hell are you doing here? Why should I greet me when with others, especially..more so he," Zahra raced more slowly.
Aditya develops a smile and puts his hands in his pants pocket.
"Why? Was that guy your girlfriend?" tanyanya indifferent.
"Don't turn the conversation in the other direction. Tell me, what are you doing here?" asked Zahra again slightly raising her voice.
"After so many years you have left us with a new family, and now...you come again, what do you really want from us?"
"Is Dad what our lives were like for so many years after you left him?"
"We have to live long, foraging for ourselves, surviving on our own, and we even have to pay the cost of living in Aunt Sabil's house, do you know how hard it is for me to take care of Laluna, Olives, and even to pay for it, and so is Adam?" Zahra is trying to explain what life has been like for years.
His chest rose and fell, with both red eyes holding back the emotional turmoil.
Without feeling the tears slide so quickly venting the stuffy. The pain that has long accumulated is poured with clear liquid linangan.
Zahra turned back again avoiding the father. She cried as she remembered the pain and distress she had with her three sisters in the country.
Without their parents trying to survive relying on each other.
Zahra's eldest sister doubles as father and mother to Laluna, Olive, and Adam.
Luckily, they did not demand anything from him. Maybe his three sisters know what their family situation is like.
Sometimes the brothers strengthen each other and survive together in the ferocious world.
They know that mom and dad don't care about the existence of their baby.
"So, before we came here I saw a beautiful woman watching my father's departure. She's got two kids, maybe twins? Boys and girls, they're very handsome and beautiful."
"I know just a glimpse, they.. Daddy's new family isn't it? Never mind, you better continue the BEST life that is currently lived," racau Zahra pressed one word.
Seeing her first daughter look so devastated and withholding deep wounds, Aditya felt guilty.
"Camililla Buana, she's your stepmother, and the two kids you saw earlier they're your twin sister, Zahra."
"We're on vacation here and your youngest brother is sick and then he's in this hospital. Who would have thought if we could meet, I also heard you were studying abroad. Who would have thought we could meet so soon. Dad-"
"Don't say anything else that could make me sick." Zahra rubbed the traces of clear crystals on both of her rough cheeks and smiled full of wounds.
The head in the hijab nodded a few times then glanced at the father.
"I'm tired, Dad. We just want to live in peace without your shadow. For these seventeen years, we learned to live without your presence."
"Yes" Zahra nodded her head a few more times. "Thank you, we have no parents. It's like remembering you're happy with your new family regardless of where we are, hurts more than a loss" raved Zahra again who now fully stared at Aditya.
"We have long lost the love of Father and Mother. We are used to living without your presence. So, please go and be happy with your new family." A smile shows how tired and hurt a child feels.
Zahra stepped out from before her father as if an invisible hand was giving a hard blow to her face.
Aditya was speechless, pensive, watching all the wounds at the bottom of his first daughter's deepest heart.
Zahra walked past him with tears in her eyes again. It feels like a thorn stuck in the heart gives a very painful wound.
"Dad apologize, Zahra." At once Zahra stopped his steps.
"You really are big. Daddy's beautiful daughter is getting charming. I'm really sorry, for leaving you."
"At that time, I was forced to agree to a farewell request made by your mother. At that time your mother was caught flirting with another man."
"In addition to our increasingly difficult economic situation, Dad was overcome with emotions and returned to his home country."
"Dad's really sorry not to think about your feelings" Aditya said.
"Dad actually wanted to bring you guys to live together, but-"
Zahra gave a rough snort and rubbed the huffed face which instantly stopped Aditya's speech.
"Don't blame anyone above others. If you're really sorry, why didn't you come in the first place? Why wait seventeen years? Also, didn't we accidentally meet? Nah-" Zahra turned her head back with a big grin.
"Not intentionally to meet us?" he continued to give disappointed eyes.
A second later he continued his steps again completely leaving his father.
Aditya was fixated, his dark bead widened, and the lips opened slowly.
He was silent there, looking at the back of his heart further away. His chest hurt as if someone was squeezing his heart hard.
Hearing for himself the expression of Zahra's pain just now really made him aware if he had indeed ignored his four children.
"Dad. I'm really sorry," she recalls the first day she left them.
He had absolutely no idea what his four children would go through after his departure as well as his ex-wife.
After returning to his homeland, Aditya meets the woman he was once betrothed to. They married and had two children.
His life is increasingly unpretentious because his new wife's family has middle to upper treasures. After happiness hit, Aditya so forget if having children in other countries.
"I... Bad father," he murmured again.
"So, is that as complicated as Zahra's life?" muttered Seok Jin who had just witnessed the drama of father and son.
