VARSHA

VARSHA
SEASON 2 PART 72

Like a barren desert longing for the existence of an oasis, the dry contours of its throat continue to wound, destroying the serenity within.

Thirsty for affection from parents, sometimes giving yourself a challenge to seek attention from others.

However, none of this applies to Zahra. He expects nothing from anyone, wants no mercy from others, and never begs for attention.

He was the first of four children to play an active role in giving the best to his three younger siblings. He already thought if not himself, who else should spill his love for them.

He knew that his father and mother had been happy with his new family, but, hearing and seeing for themselves with his senses of sight and hearing really incised a deep wound.

Dew on the leaves drips slowly, the trail just crumbles when the sun's light sting is so hot.

There was nothing left, his heart was like slashed by sharp objects many times. The existence of the father right in front of his own eyes at this time added to the pain.

All the memories he tried to bury immediately came to the surface.

Love and compassion, disappeared without a single bit left.

"My trust in you, it's gone, since you left that day."

"My friend once said, if we are able to forgive as much as a parent's faults, there must be good that God gives."

"Dad understand what that means? Yes, I try to forgive as much as you do. For I expect the recompense that God will give."

"I hope your father or mother can pray for the best for us. It doesn't matter if you now have a new family each better than us, but I hope you don't forget Laluna, Olives, and Adam."

"They don't know if right now Dad and Mom are happy with your new family" Zahra clenched her hands on her lap holding her tight in her chest.

His heart was completely shattered making the tears slide unbearably. He removed it rudely while looking down to avoid the father's gaze.

Aditya was glued, his tongue was a mute, like there was a barrier in the throat. The words to be said were swallowed whole.

A few seconds later, Zahra's head was raised to look at her real father again.

"It was only until ten years that I felt your affection, but what about my sisters? At that time you left behind seven-year-old Laluna, three-year-old Olive, and one-year-old Adam. It's hard for me to be the oldest brother to them. Managing all its needs, until it plays a double role. However, I must not give up and will continue to try to make them happy, even without the presence of Father and mother."

Clear crystals back in spray make the feeling in the chest more piled up. Zahra said all the turmoil in him that had been borne for years.

The sour, sweet, bitter life he had passed alone. He had to fight, banging bones to provide a decent life for his three younger siblings.

Because the mother's sister never treated them like a family at all. There they just hitchhiked and spent more time on the streets.

Until now, Zahra had continued to transfer money to her aunt for the living expenses of Laluna, Olives, and Adam.

In addition to learning, he also had to work hard to earn money in order to survive.

The shadows of those days until this second again and again slapped reality so hard. Zahra was not an orphan, but her life was more destitute than that.

Parents are complete and still alive in fact only limited to status. There was no love or affection for them. Everything disappears like a wave and leaves only memories that are almost lost.

"Thank you for seeing me here again, even if that's not what you came for. I. forgive your mistakes. I know... some say if a daughter's first love is her father?"

"Then I will answer. Dad was my first love, a man I loved so much, respected, the greatest hero was able to protect us."

"However, now it's all just a story."

"Did you remember when I was nine? Did I ever say I wanted to give you something?"

Aditya was stunned, his caramel bead widened in response to Zahra's question.

Zahra smiled bitterly, Aidtya returned dumbstruck and still kept her mouth shut. She could not believe that her little daughter had really turned into a kind adult woman.

He did not expect to get a great surprise from his first daughter. The lesson that can be taken from him is that Zahra can change for the better, even without the guidance of him and Zulfa as parents.

"I'm really embarrassed," he thought.

"Thank you for the varsha you and Dad gave me. I don't expect harsha or asha, but a calm."

"Can we just be like this and never see each other again?"

Zahra got up from her seat and looked down and watched her father remain silent.

"Congratulations on your marriage, may your father and mother be happy with them. Thank you for bringing us into this cruel world."

Having said that Zahra fled from there unable to withstand the overcrowding. Aditya could not do anything, his whole body was numb to hear and see the pain in the baby.

Without both of them noticing, there was a pair of eyes watching him. Zulfa, who happens to be about to catch up with Dong Hyuk and Laluna, accidentally sees Zahra and her ex-husband leaving.

Curiosity drove him to follow them. However, unexpected recognition of the problems experienced by Zahra so far to his hearing.

The feeling of a mother who witnessed invisible wounds emanated from the dark bead of the baby also gives endless pain.

He cried in silence hiding the face behind the menu book. Zulfa tries to dampen his so as not to disturb other visitors.

"You're sorry, Zahra," he murmured softly.

Similarly, Aditya who repeatedly said sorry while shedding tears. The people around him were staring in silence, some were confused, some were not interested.

Outside the cafe, Zahra also cried. He didn't care that a few pairs of eyes were looking at him, pity.

He fell there when both feet could not support his weight anymore. He was really hurt and disappointed, all the deepest feelings were spilled through the clear liquid.

Although the sky exuded beauty, but cloudy clouds were in both of his eyes. The rain of tears kept coming down with a torrential drenching on the beautiful face full of disappointment of a Zahra.

Laluna who witnessed her brother like that could only fall silent. He knew how heavy the burden his first brother was bearing.

After winning at the park, Laluna and Dong Hyuk find Zahra's whereabouts. However, they had not had time to greet the woman, the painful sight caught sight.

Both Laluna and Dong Hyuk were struck by how much pain Zahra had spilled. The sobs slowly wound up giving wounds in their hearts as well.

Whether consciously or not Laluna also cried to see Zahra like that.

Just as he was about to approach, his movements were stopped by Dong Hyuk. The owner looked back to find his stepfather shaking his head briefly.

"Give your brother time to be alone" he said.

Want to not want Laluna to just nod, understand. They only saw Zahra who continued to cry alone not far from the cafe.

Not long after that he got up from there while wiping away the tears many times. He took a deep breath and exhaled and did so repeatedly.

As her feelings begin to improve, Zahra steps off again to somewhere. Laluna and Dong Hyuk who saw this thing again let.

They knew it would take time for Zahra to recover all her mental state. Dong Hyuk did not expect his stepson to be able to get such a heavy burden on his narrow shoulders.

He felt sorry for them at the same time. His affection as a father continues to be turbulent.
