SEASON 2 PART 17

The parent meeting at Akila school ended smoothly.

All the parents and students walked together to leave the classroom.

They seem very enthusiastic when the teacher and also the father and mother give compliments.

However, only Akila was moody.

Seok Jin and Zahra walked over when the eight-year-old girl stepped foot while squeezing her strong carry bag.

"Sayang~" Call Zahra cheerfully rested in front of him.

Both of Zahra's slender hands gripped gently on Akila's shoulders.

The children of Raina and Jim-in continue to look down deeply.

"Honey, Aunt and Uncle want to apologize. because it has replaced eomma and Appa come to school. They-"

"Why? Why should Auntie and Uncle come to school? Why?" akila shouted making the attention of the children who were still in the classroom look at her.

Zahra, realizing this, tried to calm the child.

"Em, how about we go to the park first and talk there?" zahra asked trying to get his attention.

"That's right, honey. Here Akila must be uncomfortable, all playing together?" seok Jin continued to gather in front of him.

Akila only nodded briefly reluctantly looking up at the two.

Getting the approval of the child, Seok Jin immediately carried him and took Akila out of class.

They rushed from there and left the school building.

Along the way, Akila remained silent as she continued to look out the window. His face was so disappointed that it endured the pain in silence.

Both Zahra and Seok Jin continued to watch him through the rearview mirror.

They also looked at each other to understand Akila's condition.

"Let's love, how about we have lunch first?"

"No need," Akila replied in a trembling voice.

Zahra turned her head back to Seok Jin making the doctor nod for help.

"Sure you're hungry, we'll eat before we go home." Finals later.

Akila was silent again not responding to the words of the adult woman in front of her.

Until not long ago, the car driven by Seok Jin stopped at one of the nearby restaurants.

Zahra got out of the car and rushed to the back seat. He took Akila and brought her into the place to eat.

There were not too many people coming and there were only a few.

They also come from foreign countries that are enjoying halal food there.

Zahra, Seok Jin, and Akila sat together by the window.

The two women of different ages were side by side facing the handsome doctor alone.

One of the waiters came to give the menu, Seok Jin directly ordered food for them.

While waiting, two adults there again watched Akila who looked out again.

"Dear, what-"

"Why don't eomma and Appa come to school? Are they too busy to come see their own son?" tanya Akila cut off Zahra's words while sobbing.

" It's not like that, honey. Eomma and Appa are busy, so they-"

"What's so busy you can't afford to go to school? I'm ashamed, Auntie. I'm ashamed."

"Friends from earlier continued to whisper that I was an unwanted child, proof that eomma and appa did not come to school. Though... whereas I wanted to show my craft earlier," continued Akila crying as she pleased.

Zahra immediately hugged her tightly, rubbing Akila's back several times calming her down.

"I mean Auntie, eomma and appa do not want to make Akila and Jauhar sad or worried" said Zahra trying to give understanding to the little girl.

"What is the point of fearing me and Jauhar sad and worried?" tanya Akila let go of her embrace and then looked towards Zahra fixedly.

The woman turned to Seok Jin at a glance and rubbed the clear liquid on both cheeks.

"You will also know, which is clear at this time.we pray the best for eomma," said Zahra again.

"That's right, honey. We must pray for the best for eomma" continued Seok Jin

"Is eomma sick?" akila asked worriedly.

"Em, has Kila seen that eomma's been different lately?" ask Zahra again.

Akila was pensive given the state of the mother a few days back.

"That's right, eomma changed like a different person. Eomma seemed not to know me and Jauhar" Akila explained later.

"That's why Akila, as the eldest brother, had to be strong and patient so that Jauhar did not know what happened to the eomma. Akila can do it?" said Zahra again rubbed his temple dear.

Akila nodded quickly a few times.

"If it were so, Akila would strive for eomma. Akila did not want to see eomma, constantly in pain," replied Akila who now understood her condition.

"Alhamdulillah, then now we eat first and after this Uncle and Aunt Zahra will invite you to play, how?" seok Jin continued, again attracting the attention of the little girl.

Akila just assented without speaking while commenting on the sweet smile.

...***...

As promised, Seok Jin actually took Akila and Zahra to the playground.

There they ride various rides to restore the spirit of Akila.

The two did not want the child to hide the sadness behind a smile.

They wanted Akila to keep a sincere smile, even though she was not doing well.

Laughter was buzzing into a backsound togetherness. Like parents and children, they enjoy a good time.

A few hours passed, after being satisfied to play there, the three decided to go home.

The exhausted Akila fell asleep in Seok Jin's arms.

Zahra carries her school backpack as she walks along.

Under the twilight sky with the light of the sun shining down on their backs, Zahra was fixated on the resulting shadow.

He continued to stare one by one at the shadow of himself, Seok Jin, and Akila alternately.

The fluff in his chest whispered softly making him smile wryly.

" You are truly great at bringing back the joy of a child. You deserve the title of best mother, if you have children later" Seok Jin said.

However, those words made Zahra's footsteps stop instantly. He looked down as the main object.

Seok Jin who realized that the person next to him was not there stopped.

He looked back and found Zahra silent.

"Za"

"Thank you, but it looks like I'll never be able to get that title" Zahra quickly cut.

Now it was Seok Jin's turn to clench his lips to see the fake smile on that beautiful face.

He knew that right now Zahra was hiding her true feelings.

"Ah, sorry. I just just origin talk." Zahra laughed softly trying to look fine.

"Then let's go home" he asked again to step past the doctor.

In silence Seok Jin looked at the departure of the fragile-looking figure.
