The sun was shining beautifully, brightly and warmly on the body. Time shows at 7am. Jeff was no longer in his bed, apparently he was going to find breakfast. He bought breakfast for himself and Nirmala probably wanted to eat outside instead of the hospital. Finished buying everything, Jeff went straight back to Nirmala's room.

Jeff began to step his foot, until the step stopped because he heard there was a conversation in Nirmala's room. Jeff was so curious that he brought himself closer behind the door. Jeff recognized the voice, it was Kevin's voice.

Kevin arrived at the hospital early this morning and comforted Nirmala, while her brother still did not return. Jeff did not go straight into the room, he was still standing behind the door listening to what Kevin and Nirmala were talking about.

"How are you doing now?" Ask Kevin to Nirmala.

"Allah is well" answered Nirmala.

"Thank God, I brought you breakfast. Oh yeah, where's Chika? Did he take good care of you last night?" ask Kevin again.

Jeff was listening more and more to their conversation. Moreover, Kevin asked about his brother, he wanted to know the answer from Nirmala. Nirmala was silent for a moment thinking about answering Kevin's question in order to get the right answer. On the contrary, Jeff dag dig was worried if Nirmala told the truth and made Kevin disappointed.

It turns out that what Jeff was worried about didn't happen. Nirmala tried not to make Kevin anxious.

"Yes, Chika's sister takes care of me very well" said Nirmala.

"Where is he now? I didn't see it?" asked Kevin curiously.

"He's out to buy breakfast." Answer Nirmala.

Kevin believed what Nirmala said. He did not want to prolong his conversation anymore, moreover he also had to leave for the office immediately. Jeff who heard that answer also felt relieved. She did not expect that Nirmala would lie just to keep her brother's good name in front of Kevin.

"Oh, so Chika bought breakfast too huh, too pity when I've brought this." Kevin said while showing me the food box.

"I knew you wouldn't like food in the hospital, so I brought you a special breakfast. Your favorite food." Kevin again.

"Thank you Kevin, I've been troubling you." Nirmala.

"No, not at all troublesome. I'd like to give it to you myself." Said Kevin.

Kevin's phone rings. A call from his secretary at the office saying that a client from Singapore has arrived in Indonesia since then and is now heading to the office. This one client is very timely, he does not want if at the time of arriving at the office to wait for Kevin to come. That would have disappointed him and could have called off his partnership with Kevin's company.

Kevin understands that, as a young professional executive, Kevin does have many clients with different characters. And he always strives to keep the good name of the company by not disappointing his clients. Not wanting to be late for the meeting, Kevin finally said goodbye to Nirmala so that he could immediately leave for the office.

"You take good care of yourself, yes, I go to the office first." Said Kevin.

"Yes." Yeah." Answer Nirmala briefly.

Kevin starts leaving Nirmala and walks out of the room, Jeff who realizes Kevin's footsteps immediately leaves behind the door and hides somewhere else. Luckily there was a safe hiding place and Kevin didn't see it at all.

"For my brother to be like this. Hiding like a fugitive."Groused Jeff.

Jeff keeps watching Kevin's steps, making sure Kevin actually leaves and doesn't come back. Once convinced that Kevin has gone to the office. Jeff went into Nirmala's room. He opened the door of the room without excuse, then closed it again. Jeff pretended not to know that Kevin had just arrived. He came as if he had just returned from buying breakfast.

"Jeff, are you back here again? not going to school?" Ask Nirmala.

"No need to talk, because you can't go to school." Answer Jeff.

"I didn't tell you to stay here, did I, Jeff? If you want to go to school, you have to leave now, why are you still here." Nirmala.

Jeff is really weird, sometimes soft sometimes rough. It's hard to guess.

"If I leave now it's too late. Besides, I've asked our teacher for permission, if we don't go to school today." Said Jeff.

"I told you that you came home, and I told you that my brother was sick" Jeff said.

Nirmala was silent.

He thought, What village do I have? Jeff is just there. But thankfully he said that, if you say sick surely friends will come all here. And I'll feel uncomfortable.

Nirmala started to open her breakfast, she was about to eat the food brought by Kevin. While the food that Jeff bought, Jeff did not give to Nirmala and he said it would be given to someone else. But when Nirmala doesn't eat Kevin's food, she closes the box and grabs the food Jeff bought.

"I'll just eat your food." Nirmala.

Jeff was silent and a little incredulous. While they were eating, Chika suddenly came.

"You guys have breakfast not waiting for you." Sapa Chika's.

"I don't think you're coming" Jeff said.

"Hm ... So no breakfast for sister huh?" ask Chika.

"She, this." Nirmala handed over the food box that Kevin had brought.

"Kevin gave it to her this morning." Nirmala.

"I haven't touched it, if Chika's sister hasn't had breakfast, Chika's sister can eat it. Let's eat together." Nirmala.

Chika grabbed the food given by Kevin from Nirmala's hand. He opened it and smelled a very delicious scent. But for a moment he fell silent and began to be curious about the arrival of Kevin who he thought was too early, even coming at a time when he was not in the room.

"Kevin? Kevin has arrived? Then what did he say? Oh my goodness ... Did he know that brother didn't look after Nirmala last night?" Chika asked a question.

Jeff and Nirmala just kept quiet not responding to Chika's questions.

Geez, Kevin came by the time I didn't come back. How'this? Chika looks very anxious.

Chika looks like a confused person, she bites her finger and occasionally holds her head with her right hand. He stood up and started walking to the right and to the left, very worried. Worried that Kevin would be mad at him for not taking good care of Nirmala. Meanwhile, Nirmala and Jeff continue to eat until the food runs out.

After eating, Nirmala who saw panic on Chika's face tried to calm her down.

"Sister Chika doesn't have to worry, Kevin doesn't know about this." Said Nirmala trying to calm Chika down.

"Is that true, dear Nirmala?" chika asked as she approached Nirmala and sat down beside her while holding Nirmala's face.

"Yes, Kevin doesn't know." Nirmala said more affirming.

Chika felt relieved after hearing that sentence from Nirmala. While they were talking, the doctor came to see Nirmala.

The doctor said Nirmala did not need to be treated anymore, the wound was very light and did not need to linger in the hospital. Yesterday he fainted from shock and not from any serious injury. Just take care of the administration and you can go home after that.

"Let's take care of Chika, you guys just stay here." Said Chika.

"Don't bother, sister, Nirmala can take care of herself." Nirmala

"Have you been quiet here, let brother Chika take care, after all you have money?" Said Jeff

Chika looks smiling. He did it all of course to get Kevin's heart. Chika went to the administration room and took care of everything.

Nirmala felt her body was very fresh, just waiting for the former slap to fade.

Nirmala looked at her face in front of a small mirror that she used to bring to school while talking inside.

He rubbed his own face, Jeff kept watching him.

"No need to think, your face is fine no need to think about plastic surgery," said Jeff

A few hours later, Chika came.

"Everything's been sorted out, the queue's been so long." Chika said while throwing her fake smile.

"Can Nirmala go home now?" Ask Jeff.

"Please Jeff, it's only in the process." Chika said

They are still waiting for the administrative process, it does not feel the day is already noon. Kevin is also done with his client. He decided to visit Nirmala at the hospital. Kevin still doesn't know that Nirmala has been allowed to go home today. On the way he kept thinking about Nirmala's condition and sometimes he remembered bad events some time ago in his office that resulted in Nirmala being injured.

"Nirmala must no longer want to go to the office," Kevin drove his car to the hospital holding his head and said inwardly.

His mind did not focus until he almost hit the person who was about to cross the road. Fortunately, not until an accident occurred, he could still control his car. He only got scolding from mothers who crossed over and almost got hit by him.

Kevin immediately stopped his car and got down to apologize.

"If you drive carefully dong Mas, if I get hit do you want responsibility?" Said the mother scolding Kevin.

"Yes, I'm sorry ma'am, sorry ." Kevin said sorry words over and over again.

The mother then left with a still sour face, Kevin re-entered the car and continued his journey to the hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, he sees Chika, Jeff and Nirmala preparing to go home.

"Kevin has come" Nirmala told Chika, unaware of Kevin's arrival.

"Geez Kevin, you're coming. Nirmala can go home?" Chika said

"Is that right?" Ask Kevin

"Yes, Brother Chika has taken care of all the administrative costs." Nirmala

Chika looks very happy, she feels Kevin will definitely praise her and feel indebted. What Chika thinks is true.

"Thank you, Chik, you are my best friend." Said Kevin

"So now you can go home? Let's go home. " Get Kevin.

"Sorry Chik, you can go home with Jeff right, I can't take you home because I have to take Nirmala." Said Kevin

"Oh, yes Kevin is okay." Chika said with her usual smile.

But in his heart he was very upset because Kevin ah his just say thank you.

They started going home to each other. After taking Nirmala home, Kevin wants to go back to his office immediately. But bi Sona told him to have lunch together at home first. Kevin couldn't resist, they had lunch at Nirmala's.

"Thank you for lunch" said Kevin.

"I went back to Nirmala's office" said Kevin.

Nirmala nodded her head and gave a smile to Kevin.

Suddenly Kevin began to drift again his mind, he thought if only he was married to Nirmala. Maybe the atmosphere will be more romantic. Kevin smiled happily as he stepped towards his car.

"Be careful." Nirmala.

"okay." Kevin answered briefly and began to disappear from Nirmala's sight.

Nirmala walked into her room and allowed herself to relax without thinking about anything. He is still very traumatized if he remembers what happened. But he also began to think what about the fate of small employees and interns if in the office there are rats that are not humane.

Suddenly he remembered his father's office, one time he never came to his father's office. His father never took him to the office. He wanted to see things in his father's office. Without thinking much, he called his father who was still abroad.

"Hallo papa," said Nirmala

"Hallo baby, papa's girl what's wrong? tumben called papa once?" Said the father.

"Papa, when's papa coming home?" ask Nirmala.

"Maybe next week. What was? you want me to buy you something?"

It's not usual for Nirmala to call him and tell him she's missing. There must be something he's hiding.
