"Married?" Nirmala suddenly stared at the sentence spoken by someone in front of her. The spoon in his right hand suddenly slammed into his bowl.
Now his face was focused on the pair of eyeballs of a man who was in front of him, Tirta. The man who was still sitting in the third grade of High School nodded slowly. Nirmala's reaction clearly showed her dislike. Tirta was delirious and messed up according to him.
"Me-it-would." Tirta spelled out his sentence to make it sound clearer in Nirmala's ear.
"Married, uniting the two hearts of man in a sacred bond legally and religiously. Being a halal couple, a husband and wife relationship." He explained in more detail as if Nirmala was a foolish girl who did not understand the meaning.
Nirmala felt like a thick fog was enveloping her, suddenly cold and her breathing was a little disturbed and her mind floated somewhere. Still with the body sculpting, but still able to talk.
"Now?" I don't know what that sentence said from Nirmala's lips made Tirta laugh.
Tirta still wanted to laugh but she tried to hold back her laughter. His right hand reached out to Tissu and gave it to Nirmala.
"Geez, you eat noodle soup until the straw so his chin, take nih tissue." Tirta.
Nirmala pulled the tissue given by Tirta and immediately cleaned her chin. He then continued eating very quickly. Hoping to immediately run away from the presence of high school children who forget their age and behave like a mature person.
"Well, are you hungry?" Tirta started teasing.
Nirmala focused on her boiled noodles and did not answer Tirta's question.
"So what do you think about getting married?"
"I'm sorry Tirta, I don't want to marry you. Besides we're still in high school, what do you think about getting married?" Nirmala.
"I want to go home." Further.
Nirmala walks out of the restaurant intending to find a taxi.
"Mala!" Call Tirta after the two of them are outside the restaurant.
"You're surprised that I'm asking you to get married?" ask carefully.
"Shocked? That sounds too simple. You made me suddenly have a heart attack. It looks like you're mentally ill." Nirmala.
"Are you sure you don't want to marry me?"
"No, no, no, no. I'm still not satisfied enjoying my youth anyway." Answer Nirmala firmly.
"If we talk about contentment, man will never be satisfied, Mala." Tirta started to get smart.
Nirmala sneered, she knew now she was dealing with a genius man who was indeed a different way of thinking to other children of her age. If Nirmala were to argue, it would be a mere waste, unable to win from her.
Why is there no taxi passing? Inner Nirmala.
"Tirta, do you want to waste your youth? It's a shame that a genius like you at a young age already has a wife, you don't work either. Aye right?"
Tirta just smiled.
"Many people who get married young and get divorced because they are not ready, some are divorced because of economic problems, yes because her husband does not work. Their marriage failed and they divorced and they hated each other." Say Nirmala again.
"I've never been married, but I think the things you mentioned have nothing to do. Divorce can happen, but the reason is not that. It's actually very simple, really." Tirta began to talk like an adult again.
"simple? There is something simple behind the decision to divorce. It could be an affair or it could be due to the absence of a child." Denying Nirmala.
"Okay .. ah. I'm going home." Nirmala said as she walked away from the restaurant.
Tirta continued to follow him without caring about the motorbike he parked in the restaurant.
"Ah, it's all just a cover. The real reason the love between the two was dead, was already nonexistent. Not because there are no children or because of economic hardship." Tirta said as she continued to follow Nirmala's steps.
"So what makes people want to get married? Love isn't?" Nirmala interrupted Tirta's words.
"And I don't love you, so forget your dream of marrying me. Just tell that to another woman." Nirmala.
"Hmm ... Is that so? But I love you, besides I want to avoid sin." Tirta.
Oh my God, he's talking about sin. Inner Nirmala.
"Stop ya Tirta, stop! You're scaring me." Nirmala took a blatant breath.
"Fearful?" Tirta turned to the right and to the left as she saw Nirmala starting to cross the highway. Getting further away from the restaurant.
"I'm just getting you married, I'm in love with you, I want to be with you. Marriage is the best way. Love can grow after that, right?" Now Tirta walked backwards in front of Nirmala so that she could see Nirmala's face clearly.
"You make love sound so holy. But sorry Tirta, I'm so sorry I can't. I don't want to marry you. Oh my goodness." Nirmala looks very emotional.
"I'm less romantic?" Ask Tirta.
"Me!" Nirmala pointed at her in an annoyed tone.
"I am less romantic and now get out of my sight!" Nirmala.
Tirta laughed, she still did not give up on continuing to tease the girl before her.
"I might have to learn a lot to make you agree." Said Tirta again.
Nirmala did not respond to Tirta's last sentence. Suddenly Nirmala saw a taxi.
"Taxi ...!" Nirmala waved her hand to call a taxi. When the taxi stopped right beside him, he immediately entered and closed the door without saying goodbye to Tirta.
"Geez, I'm really sorry I received the lunch invitation." Nirmala muttered after she sat in the taxi.
"Where are you going, Non?" ask the taxi driver.
Nirmala then says her home address clearly. Not long after he finally arrived at his home. He started to enter the fence of his house. Trying to calm the breath that has been roaring ever since. His head was throbbing and felt tight. He stepped at an unusual speed, entered the house and finally reached the room.
He immediately closed the door and locked it tightly then placed the bag in the glass cabinet. Now he sat in front of the mirror, staring at his own reflection in the mirror.
"I look pathetic." Murmuring while holding both cheeks with the position of both hands she put on the dressing table.
Suddenly a subtle knock came out at the door.
Gts ... Gts ... Gts ...
"Non." Call bi Sona gently.
"Yes, Auntie. What's the need?"
"There's Non Anah, he just came."
Uhwhat? Oh gosh. At a time like this? Inner Nirmala.
"Yes, yes Bi. Nirmala's coming down."
Nirmala then set her breath again, she then washed her face so as not to look too panicked. In addition, the dust on the road was also enough to make his face look dull. Washing your face will make it fresher.
Nirmala now walks to Anah with a smile even though her heart is not upset. He went down the stairs with a shunt, Anah raised her head to see Nirmala walking on the stairs and started to approach him.
"Thank you Anah." Nirmala.
"Either. Mala, can we go out for a second?" ask Anah.
Nirmala who had just returned home actually felt tired, tired of heart and mind. Also tired of his body. It felt like it had just broken through space and time. But Anah even wanted to take him out. Nirmala could not refuse him.
"Where are we going?" ask Nirmala.
"As far as you are." Answer Anah.
"How about we go to the park?" Nirmala said as she stepped up to the room again to pick up her bag and phone.
They then walked out and asked Mr. Slamet to deliver even though it could actually be reached on foot. Arriving at the park, who would have guessed that Nirmala met Tirta again. Nirmala tries to hide behind Anah's body, but it's free. Tirta had already seen it.
Tirta walked closer to Anah and Nirmala. Anah still did not understand why Nirmala was hiding behind him.
"When will not my soul mate go to? The shoots of love have arrived." Tirta said after their close distance.
Anah did not understand what Tirta meant. But maybe the point is an unexpected meeting in the park, Tirta is indeed a genius so the sentence is difficult to understand, thought Anah.
Hearing Tirta's sentence that sounded so strange, Anah only smiled.
It was late afternoon, the atmosphere in the park was also not quiet, seen many people who enjoy the beauty of nature and the cool breeze. Nirmala is still hiding behind Anah's body and invites Anah to immediately avoid Tirta.
"Come on, let's just go there." Whisper Nirmala while pulling Anah's hand.
"We went there first, Tirta." Anah.
Tirta raised her right hand and said, "Okey."
Anah still did not understand what Nirmala was doing. Why is he hiding when he sees Tirta, but usually Nirmala is fine and never had a problem with Tirta. Anah does not want to investigate, for him it is not important.
The afternoon breeze cooled down the two companions who were now sitting on the swing. Anah and Nirmala relax in the iron swing face to face. They talked to each other about a lot of things, including Jeff. Anah is obsessed with Jeff and never stops talking about him.
To him, Jeff was a perfect man. He is handsome and also brave, very full of charm according to Ana's judgment. According to Nirmala, Jeff is a man who does not know manners and coercion. He was happy to impose his will. Jeff's a very annoying kid. Inner Nirmala.
They were still sitting on the swing very casually. Suddenly Tirta came and offered him ice cream. Anah immediately accepted Tirta's gift, while Nirmala did not want to touch the ice cream. He even threw his face away without even turning his head towards Tirta.
"Oh my goodness, this Tirta." Inner Nirmala again.
Tirta stood right beside Nirmala and held the swing handle, looking at the girl before him but she did not invite Nirmala to chat. She spoke warmly to Anah softly, not as usual. Usually he never likes Anah because he thinks Anah is always troublesome.
"Well, what about your efforts? Want to pursue your love? Is there a bright spot?" Tanya Tirta suddenly.
"Huh?" Anah was a little shocked because Tirta paid attention to him.
"Ganbatte (spirit)!" Tirta cried while clenching her right hand and showing it to Anah.
"Huh?" Anah was shocked again.
Tirta then left Nirmala and Anah.
"Mala," call Anah.
"Yes,"
"You feel like there's something weird about Tirta?" tanya Anah full of search.
"Tirta's been talking a lot, not like she used to." Anah continued her sentence.
Nirmala did not respond, she only hoped to breathe with relief after Tirta disappeared from before her. Her body feels tired but she still wants to enjoy an afternoon with Anah. While Anah enjoys her ice cream, Nirmala enjoys the wind.
Nirmala felt a cold wind pounding her body slowly, as if she was stroking him gently. He closed his eyes, enjoying the cold.
Wuss ...!
Suddenly the wind blew louder and felt colder than the first one. Slowly Nirmala opened her eyes. He faintly saw the shadow of someone walking towards him, not Anah. His body is tall like a boy. Nirmala then squinted her eyes and tried to see it clearly.
"Tyrs?" nirmala Gumam.
"Geez, didn't he just leave?" His inner.
Anah who was engrossed in enjoying ice cream was also shocked by the sudden presence of Tirta.
"I just want to give you this." Tirta said while handing over a picture book.
"What's this?" ask Nirmala.
Anah suddenly grabbed the book and opened it. Anah used to do that, snatching things belonging to others. But it was an impolite act.
"Why did you give that to me?" ask Nirmala Heran.
"Because it's a picture of how I feel about you." Answer Tirta.
Anah who heard Tirta's words immediately looked up and said that Tirta liked Nirmala.
"Tirta, do you like Nirmala? Oh my, you're so romantic." Said Anah.
"You draw Nirmala's face this much?" Anah began to open up the book sheet by sheet.
"Look through the last page." Advice Tirta.
Anah watched many sketches of Nirmala's smiling face. While Nirmala was reading a book in the library, while walking, even while sitting at the campfire while camping some time ago there was also. Everyone is always smiling. But towards the end of the page, his facial expression changed. His face looks strange and moody.
"It should have been Nirmala, not Anah." Tirta.
"You're saying this is about your feelings for Nirmala, but where are you? all Nirmala's images." Anah.
Nirmala was not interested in seeing him at all, but Anah's question made her curious.
"Why at the beginning did you draw a smiley face but at the end it looks weird and moody?" ask Anah.
"Look at it." Nirmala became even more curious. He opened it sheet by sheet and sure enough, at the end of the page the picture was made moody by Tirta.
"Just like I feel right now." Answer Tirta casually.
Anah looked up and looked at Tirta.
"But you're usually moody and lately you look happy, the opposite of this sketch." Said Anah again still could not understand.
"It's Anah, let's just go home." Take Nirmala by and leave Tirta alone in the garden.
Tirta is indeed so mysterious, she has many secrets and even she knows many other people's secrets. His mindset did not at all indicate his age as a teenager, he thought further ahead. It is fitting that the nickname Tirta the genius is always attached to him.
Tirta then took back the sketchbook left by Nirmala, Nirmala did not want to keep it. Tirta then sat on the swing and closed her eyes enjoying the cold wind. It is very comfortable to relax in a garden that has many trees equipped with wind.
