Jeff didn't go home right away, he went to a cafe where he used to hang out with his motorcycle friends. But because it wasn't Sunday night, there weren't any of his friends in there, not a single one. Such circumstances actually make it more comfortable because nothing bothers him.
"Good night." Greet a woman in front of a long desk counter.
"What message do you want?" continue with a smile.
"Mocca Latte." Said Jeff.
"There again?"
"Burning bread 2."
Then Jeff paid and took his order to the table, he picked a table by the window. That night there were no moons or stars, Jeff only saw a dark cloudy sky like his current mood. Sure enough, he had just sat down for a while, it was raining heavily.
Jeff started enjoying his coffee, he sipped it little by little. Without him noticing, he thought back to Nirmala. The girl who did not keep her promise. He immediately began to feel annoyed and wanted to be angry again. But he tried to calm down.
"Hi."
Jeff who was holding the mug then tilted his head glancing from behind the mug to the source of the sound that was in front of him.
"Hi." Jeff replies to a girl who just greeted him, the girl sits right in front of him.
Jeff didn't know her, but not the girl. The girl in front of him knew Jeff. He then extended his hand, inviting Jeff to meet.
"My name is Lisa." Said the girl.
Jeff hesitantly returned his hand, "I'm Jeff."
Then Jeff took off a handshake that night.
"I already know." Lisa said with a big smile on her teeth wearing stirrup.
Beautiful, but not prettier than Nirmala. Inner Jeff.
Then where does he know me? Inner again.
Jeff then put down his coffee and buried his face in both hands on the table, then he said, "You must be the wrong person."
Jeff did not dare to show his face, but Lisa then pulled his hand. It was like I knew what Jeff was feeling.
"Just relax, your secret is safe with me." He said while still holding Jeff's hand.
Slowly Jeff took off Lisa's hand. But the girl blinked, making Jeff's neck hot and coughed. Jeff was surprised when the girl took one of his breads and bit him without permission.
"Relius ..."
"Eh ... Sorry I changed the bread." Lisa said, laughing and eating the bread.
Jeff grabbed the other bread. Lisa later said that she knew Jeff well. He even knows and often sees Jeff at school likes to smile himself every time he sees Nirmala, all the friends at school already know that Jeff likes Nirmala. Suddenly Jeff chokes, "Uhuk ..."
Where did he know about Nirmala too. Inner again.
"Not to be surprised, all the friends at school already know. Jeff, when you didn't know me?" Said again.
"No." Jeff looked at Lisa's face, his face was visibly hurt. Jeff felt guilty.
"We are one school." Further.
Jeff became more sinful, the same time his schoolmate just didn't know.
"Sorry ... Sorry, my relationship with my friends at school is not good." Jeff averted his eyes but Lisa showed a charming smile.
Lisa again grabbed Jeff's hand, but Jeff immediately brushed it off.
"It's okay" Lisa said.
"I like to watch you at school and you always catch my attention" he added.
Jeff did not feel strange, in school there were many girls who expressed love to him. Although no one is as unique as Anah.
"Are you this ordinary?" Lisa looked at Jeff's face.
Actually, he wanted to ask, but he was worried that he would offend Jeff. Jeff feels surprised what may be because he still holds back the anger over Nirmala's lies. He then moved from his seat to the bathroom and reflected.
Jeff tried to catch his breath and take off slowly, he also tried to arrange for his heart to beat more calmly, should not he be angry to that extent. There was still tomorrow at school, he could still meet Nirmala and ask her directly why she didn't come to the restaurant tonight.
Why ask, forget it. He murmured softly while still staring at the mirror before him.
"Jeff."
Jeff turned to the source of the voice, apparently Lisa followed him.
God, he's following me. Inner Jeff.
Lisa looked at Jeff carefully and seemed to be trying to tease him.
"Wanna go home?" lisa asked as she lifted the paper bag and the bread box inside.
"I bought you 6 seeds in exchange for your bread that I ate earlier." Further.
Jeff nodded without a word. Then they walked out, the rain had stopped. Jeff heads to his motorcycle parking lot, Lisa follows him. Finally they arrived at the motor park.
"Why are you still following me?" jeff asked curiously.
"I'm not following you Jeff, my bike is parked next to yours." Lisa answered casually as she pointed at her parked motorcycle right next to Jeff's.
Suddenly, Lisa's hand hugged Jeff.
"Thank you" said Lisa who momentarily took off her embrace.
"Thank you for what?"
"For tonight." Said Lisa who seemed to have been sitting on her bike.
Jeff then got on the bike and put on his helmet. Lisa came out first. He is seen walking in a different direction to Jeff's destination. His heart was a little relieved now. He looks more relaxed carrying his bike. But it did not last long, a moment later he recalled Nirmala.
Jeff took a deep breath trying to restore his concentration that began to fade.
I'd be willing if you really didn't keep your promise. Inward again*.
This time he increased the speed of the bike.
An hour or so I resigned and still waiting for you. I've forgiven the promise you broke. But unfortunately, the shadow of your arrival filled my imagination. Jeff is still in.
This time the speed of the bike is getting super.
He suddenly started to reduce his motor speed when he saw that two middle-aged people looked confused in the middle of the road. Jeff stopped the bike and approached the two people who looked panicked as if they were looking for something.
"Is there a problem with the car?" Ask Jeff.
"Anu den, there's no problem with the car but the problem is you forgot this road."
Apparently they are pakde Slamet and bi Sona who just returned from the village, they have never passed the road before, he said, that was because the road they used to pass was closed because there was a road repair.
"Where are you going?"
Bi Sona and pakde Slamet feel Jeff like a helper god. From then on they were waiting for people to pass by but no one passed by, even if there they were no one to stop. Bi Sona and pakde Slamet then said their goal.
"Isn't that Nirmala's residential address." Inner Jeff.
Jeff then told them to follow him. Pakde Slamet and bi Sona got in the car and followed Jeff, they didn't think bad, they believed that this young man was a good young man. While Jeff although often at Nirmala's house but never met with bi Sona and Pakde Slamet. This is their first meeting.
Not long later they finally arrived at a road that is no stranger to pakde Slamet. Pakde Slamet then stopped his car, Jeff saw from the rearview mirror of his motorcycle and came to a stop as well. Mr Slamet got out of his car and thanked him and said there was no need to be in between again because he now knew the way. Jeff then turned around and returned home.
It's 11 p.m., Jeff glanced at his watch. But he did not worry about being angered by his father because his parents had returned abroad. As for Chika, her brother never once scolded her.
When she crossed a road near the park, many young people were dating. Some join hands with smiles, some just sit and stare at each other. But it was not Sunday night and time was getting late. But there are still many dating.
He thought back to Nirmala, but this time his heart was calmer. He also runs his bike at a moderate speed. Not long after, he finally arrived at his home. He then put the bread that Lisa bought into the refrigerator.
Realizing her sister's coming home, Chika then exits the room.
"Tumben's coming home soon?"
"What is this brother talking about? It's not Sunday night."
Chika looked at her sister's face, there was an aura of not wearing. But he didn't want to ask me that night, just tomorrow at breakfast. He thought, he told his sister to get some rest immediately, while he himself walked forward to lock the door. Jeff started to get into his room, he took off his jacket and jeans. Then washing his face, again he remembered Nirmala.
Nirmala's shadow never disappeared from her mind. His figure is always present so the first person who appears in the mind from just waking up to before going to bed. Jeff continued to wash his face, his lips always calling Nirmala, Nirmala, Nirmala.
"I'm almost crazy for him." He mumbled softly while drying his face with a towel.
After cleaning, she changed her clothes and began to lay her body on the bed. Staring at the ceiling of the room in silence, his eyes began to shut and he now woke up in his dream. He dreamed of Nirmala.
People say if we dream of someone it means that the person is thinking of us. But Jeff did not think so, he actually thought because he thought too much to get carried into a dream.
Although the dream is just a sleeping flower, but Jeff is very happy every time he meets Nirmala even though it is only limited in the dream realm. He was always happy and did not want to forget the dream. When he woke up, he was upset. He wanted to continue his dream back, but it was morning and he had to rush to school.
"Why the hell do I have to wake up now, but it was his dream again exciting."
Jeff almost dreams of kissing Nirmala, but not yet, the alarm sounds wake up his sweet dream and it really upset him. He then went to take a shower and prepared for breakfast.
"Good morning handsome prince." Sapa Chika who had already sat in the dining room.
"Good morning beautiful king's daughter." Reply Jeff but with an impassioned speech.
Chika who was chewing her food wondered.
"Eh ... It doesn't seem excited."
"Of course, hoam ..." Jeff said while yawning and complaining of wanting to sleep again.
They then eat together, initially Chika wants to ask about last night, but she undoes her intentions. Then Chika discussed another topic.
After breakfast, Jeff bailed to leave school, but Chika forbade Jeff to use the motorbike to school because he looked sleepy.
"Sister will take you to school, let's get excited."
Jeff remains uninspired but he agrees to be dropped off at school by his older brother. They go straight to school. Arriving at school, how happy Chika was because she accidentally met Kevin. But Kevin is not alone, he comes to school to take Nirmala, Chika's heart breaks but tries to pretend to calm down.
Chika stands in front of her car with Jeff, while Kevin stands next to Nirmala in front of her car.
"What a coincidence," Kevin approached Chika.
"Good morning Brother Chika," Sapa Nirmala.
Chika smiled and returned her greeting. Nirmala glanced at Jeff, but Jeff was seen throwing his face away. Nirmala then enters the school at the tail by Jeff behind her. Nirmala was silent, she moved her legs faster. Jeff wanted to ask about his promise, why last night didn't come. But his ego forbids it, he steps silently behind Nirmala without a sound.
Arriving in class, Nirmala sat next to Anah as usual. Ana still doesn't want to say hello. Nirmala stared without saying a word. Jeff had also been sitting in his chair, but he had hidden his face on the bag he had placed on the table. He's still very sleepy. He wasn't sure he could attend school that morning.
Just a moment he was closed, the bell rang the entrance sign of the class surprised him. Inevitably he had to wake up from his sleep and not long after, his class teacher was already standing in front of the classroom.
Today the class teacher announced about some events that will be held at the camp. Some students protested with the activities being delivered. But the teacher explained that it had become an agreement and no one should protest.
And every class should be the head of the camp. At first the teacher pointed at Tirta, but Tirta refused, saying there was something much more appropriate. Though the real reason is that he does not want to be bothered. The teacher then pointed to Anah, Anah is indeed the only student who is most happy and excited if camping.
"Well, you'll be the head of camping later. You must be ready."
Anah happily accepted it.
"Tirta, Jeff and Darrel. You guys should be able to help Anah prepare all the necessities for the event."
Jesus, me? Jeff's inner self pointed at himself.
"I don't want anyone to protest anymore, now open your student worksheets and work on pages 21-23 and collect before the break." The teacher then left the classroom.
Instantly the class became rowdy, Anah looked very happy and looked at Jeff endlessly making Jeff feel uncomfortable. Tirta who witnessed the scene looked very enjoying, occasionally she smiled wryly and made Jeff upset.
"Jeff, after school we'll find a tent." Bring Anah.
Jeff was silent for a moment and glanced at Nirmala, Nirmala just lowered her head. But then he replied, "Yes."
Anah does not believe Jeff's answer and asks him to repeat it again. Jeff also repeated it while continuing to look at Nirmala who was still down to focus on doing the task given by his teacher.
