WARLORD VS AMBITIOUS GIRL

WARLORD VS AMBITIOUS GIRL
023. RESPONSIBILITIES

"What did you say?" Tania asked in wonder to Ares. "Why are you here?"

Tania's question made Ares become aware because he also wondered why he had come there. His eyes kept turning around looking for answers and it seemed like he could think that his confusion was noticed by the two people staring at him.

"Yes, you're right... I shouldn't have followed her request." Kayden said as he stood up. "Please take care of him for a minute."

"Where are you going, Master?" Ares asked as Kayden walked past him.

"Smoking." Kayden replied after that stepping away from the room.

Outside the room, Kayden let out a very heavy sigh. Hearing Ares's words made him very bad right now. She should not have followed Tania's wishes.

"What's wrong with me?" Kayden muttered again as he reached into a pack of cigarettes in his pocket.

After Kayden left, Ares became even more confused. Plus Tania's gaze was like asking back about her whereabouts there.

"If I hadn't been like this, I would have approached you to kill you when I saw you coming." Said Tania coldly who could not move her body in the slightest due to the pain in her back.

Ares tried to stare at Tania with his sharp gaze, as if revealing his cold self.

"I came also because I feel responsible for your current condition. Because of me, you're having a bad thing. That's the only reason I'm here." Answer Ares. "No need to thank you, I am a good and caring person."

Tania did not reply and just stared at Ares. There was not even any expression the girl showed to respond to the young man's words.

It makes Ares more confused until he subconsciously rubbed his nape because confused to behave how else.

"Ke—why are you quiet?" Finally Ares asked with an awkward feeling as Tania continued to stare at him without any meaningful expression.

"You're saying I don't have to thank you, then why are you still standing there?" Tania asked her gaze remained unmoved at the young man standing near the already closed curtain.

"Well, you don't have to thank me..." Ares stepped closer to Tania by the bed.

"You can go now." Sela Tania who made Ares step stopped.

"What?" Ares asked in surprise at Tania's words. "You kicked me out? Why did you kick me out?"

"What else do you want to do here? Don't you just want to see me? You've seen it, haven't you? So there's no need to be here long." Answer Tania.

Ares was silent for a moment. Tania's words were indeed true, it should be that after seeing the girl's seemingly fine state, she could leave from there. But somehow there was a reluctance for him to leave the girl.

"What else is it?"

"I told you, I'll take responsibility. That's why I won't leave until you're sick." Ares.

"To be honest what happened to me wasn't your fault, you idiot. I got into that fight myself to get that kick." Tania Pungkas. "So you don't have to take responsibility for my condition either. Anyway don't pity me, 'cause I don't like being pitied by a dumb guy like you."

"But still, if I don't leave school you don't come after me and get into that fight!" Ares exclaimed in a slightly loud tone of voice as he became annoyed at Tania.

Tania felt strange at the way the young man who was nearby thought. However and how many times he thought about what happened to him was only due to his own stupidity and not anyone's fault. But Ares instead considered what happened to him because of the young man's mistake.

"You are stupid." Said Tania with a slow tone of voice.

"Be quiet, don't admit that you're responsible if you're a student not doing your part." Tania cried while trying to change her sleeping position to turn her back to Ares.

But the pain was felt in her back until the girl grimaced in pain.

"What's wrong? You okay?" Ares asked stood up to Tania and subconsciously held onto the girl's arm.

"Get your hands off!!" Tania glanced coldly at Ares who was holding her.

Ares immediately withdrew his hand with a look, as he felt he was making a mistake by subconsciously holding Tania.

Soon the young man sat back in the chair, while Tania who had changed her sleeping position turned her back to Ares because she did not want to see him.

An hour later Kayden returned to the room after the man smoked outside the hospital.

"You're still here?" Kayden asked Ares who was sitting on the chair while playing his phone.

"Yes, do you see that I'm still here, Master?" Ares answered, glancing at Kayden.

"Go home, it's night." Kayden Excited.

"I won't go home, I'll stay here. I'm responsible for his condition." Ares answered, turning his eyes to the mobile phone.

"responsible? What do you understand about responsibility?" Kayden was astonished to hear Ares' words until he snorted in annoyance.

"You two go home if you just want to make a scene here." Tania exclaimed in annoyance at the voices of the two men who were there.

"I told you, I'm not going anywhere until you get out of the hospital. I told you I wanted to take responsibility for my mistakes." Ares told Tania.

Once again Kayden snorted because of Ares's words which he thought were too excessive.

"You're just a student, your responsibility is to learn... But all this time you've been ignoring your responsibilities. And now what you're saying sounds really funny. What's your responsibility?" Kayden asked with a sarcastic laugh at Ares. "You're just a rogue student who doesn't understand what your true responsibilities are."

"God, Master wants to teach me about responsibility while you as your own homeroom teacher never do what you do." Ares was struck with emotion by the slur from Kayden until he stood up from his seat. "If you're in charge then why did you let your other students meet with a rogue student to ask him to go back to school? Isn't that a funny thing, too?"

"You two get out of here." Tania.

"Don't teach me about responsibilities if you don't also take care of your responsibilities." Ares continued so seriously that he did not hear Tania's words.

Ares' words made Kayden become silent because of it. The man became thinking of something that had been a burden on his mind all along. Something called responsibility.

Kayden took a breath to relieve his sense of regret for the young man who was his disciple. For a moment the man looked towards Tania and after that stepped out again leaving the room without saying anything.

"Did he go?" Ares turned to Tania as Kayden left from there. "Is Master angry? Are my words too outrageous?"

"Stupid." Tania said to Ares's question of looking stupidly at him.

Seeing Kayden's attitude just now made Tania begin to understand something about the man. There was something that his teacher had always thought of all this time.
