046. THE TRUE STORY

Ares dropped out of class and planned to go see his friends. The young man walked down the school corridor while looking at the mobile screen as he was replying to a message with his best friend.

"Sir Ares." Call Dyara waving her hand at Ares walking towards the girl.

A light sigh escaped from the young man's mouth as Dyara walked over to him. He saw all the eyes of the disciples there staring at him as well as Dyara.

"Aren't you going home?" Asked Dyara who followed Ares's quick pace. "Or is he going somewhere? How about if—"

Dyara's words were stifled when a young male student walked in the opposite direction while chatting with his friend. The student almost hit Dyara, who also did not see his way because he kept looking at Ares.

Luckily Ares grabbed the girl's shoulder by pulling her slightly into her arms.

Some people deliberately recorded the incident and uploaded it to the school forum. It became a warm conversation among the students.

"I'm sorry." Said the young man with a frightened face from seeing Ares.

"Jeez, it's a good thing you pulled me." Said Dyara who was still leaning against Ares' body.

"I'm sorry, Brother." Dylan smiled as usual. "So are we going home together?"

"I'm sorry, you better go home by yourself because I'm going to see my friends." Ares replied with a bit of confusion.

"Yes, okay. I don't mind if Brother meets Brother's friends. That's a good thing, right. I'll go home alone then." Dyara said with a smile.

Hearing that Ares was confused and astonished at the girl, but without a word Ares immediately walked away from Dyara. The young man turned to the girl who made him not understand her attitude.

"really? Is that girl his girlfriend?" Ares asked as he looked at Brodie.

"Yes, I didn't see it wrong. Even the reason the Red Zone beat me up was because I was meddling on something." Brodie.

"What business do you meddle with?" Ares is curious.

"One day earlier I saw Shane pulling the girl's arm at a karaoke belonging to the Shane family. Even she pushed him until the girl fell down the stairs." Bright Brodie. "I saw her and immediately tried to help the girl. Even I took him to the hospital, so Shane was mad at me and beat me up at the time because he thought I was too involved."
