Ares was in his room thinking about what Tyaga said to him earlier. The young man continued to look for reasons why people like Tyaga would listen to Tania's words.
He also did not think that Tania would come to beg him not to be expelled from school.
And as for Tyaga's words before he came out of the OSIS room, the young man was still searching for what he meant.
The thing he asked earlier was whether Tyaga liked Tania or not. The young man's answer was, if what Ares was asking was true, then he would have done the opposite.
"So, does he not like it?" Tanya Ares kept thinking. "Then, why didn't he let me out just because the girl begged him?"
His gaze led to an object on the study table where he was. Objects that are still wrapped in wrapping paper bear picture. It was Tania's birthday present. Ares hasn't opened it up to this point.
Soon the young man took it and intended to open it. Slowly, Ares opened the tape that glued the wrapping paper. He was very careful when he did it.
A piece of paper was on an object that was the contents of Tania's gift. Ares took it to read the sentence written on the paper.
I don't think this is much different from the original. We shouldn't waste money on clothes.
Happy birthday to you.
Fight to graduate, so we can graduate school together.
After reading it, Ares immediately picked up the birthday present Tania had given him.
A leather jacket that only sees him knows how much it costs. His habit of buying expensive goods, making Ares immediately know the value of the goods.
Without him realizing it, he smiled when he saw the leather jacket.
"He must have bought this from his meager savings." Ares. "He shouldn't have given me a gift like this. Though he only ate bread or instant noodles every day."
Suddenly she remembered the photo that someone had sent her. Look at that photo again. The photo where Tania and Tyaga are being seen choosing a leather jacket at her favorite brand.
"What is he doing with this guy?" Ares asked in astonishment at the photo. "Who took these two pictures?"
Suddenly the phone rang. A call came in from Kayden. Soon the young man accepted it.
"Hows it? I haven't heard anything about you getting kicked out of school." Kayden cried directly asking for his destination calling Ares. "I guess they'll call me today. But even my mother, ah she means the principal didn't discuss the slightest offense you committed."
"He didn't report it to the committee." Ares. "He didn't get me out of school."
"What's? Are you sure? Why could? Didn't Tyaga really want to kick you out of school? When he had such a good chance, why didn't he do it?" Kayden was astonished when he heard Ares's reply.
"She said, Tania begged him. But something's weird. I feel like people shouldn't seem to be wasting such an opportunity just because someone asked for it." Ares.
"Ah, so it's like that." Answer Kayden. "That means it's very good. You're not getting kicked out of school."
"Do you know anything, Master?" Ares asked him to find out about the thing that made his heart run afoul.
"Know what?"
Ares thought for a moment. It seemed that Kayden would also not say anything to her if the man knew something. He would definitely keep it a secret like Tyaga.
"How's it going? Is she okay? When did he get out of the hospital?" Ares's question changed the subject by asking Tania about her condition.
"It looks like tomorrow he'll be out of the hospital. You should have seen him stupid. You didn't get kicked out of school because of him, did you?" Kayden Excited.
Ares thought about Kayden's words. He also felt that he should have visited Tania and thanked the girl. It was possible that by doing so, he became aware of the strong reason why Tyaga would listen to Tania's plea.
...***...
Tyaga was on the phone with Tania when the school break took place. The boy was in the OSIS room.
"Your uncle will pick you up and drive you home later?" Ask Tyaga.
"Yes, I'll also stay with him before tomorrow I'll go." Answer Tania.
"Tomorrow I'll pick up my transfer files by coming to school. I think we can meet." Answer Tania.
"Are you sure you're going to change schools? You can wait until you graduate to get back there." Ask Tyaga.
"Yes, I've thought about it carefully." Answer Tania. "All right, I'll hang up."
Tyaga put his phone on the table and got back busy with his work.
Cklek!
The focus is shifted when the door of the room opens and Ares appears from the outside. Looking at him, Tyaga looked resentfully at the young man. His repeated appeals regarding the young man's habit of entering without knocking on the door first seemed to have been ignored.
"What else are you here for? I didn't call you, why did you come here?" Tegur Tyaga with an unpleasant tone of voice. "Say it quickly and get out. I told you I don't want to waste time talking to fools."
Ares held back his emotions in order not to be ignited to hear Tyaga's slurs on him. His goal of coming to see the young man was more important to him.
"You've also seen the photos that circulated yesterday, right? Your photo with Tania who's at a clothing store." Ares asked what he wanted to know. "I just want to know, what were you guys doing back then?"
Tyaga snorted at Ares' question to him. He did not think that Ares would ask something about the photo that circulated yesterday.
"What do you see in that picture?" And back to asking.
Ares is upset to hear Tyaga not answer his question but ask him another question.
"You can just answer what I'm asking, why are you making it so complicated?" Ares asked grumbling. "You know? You really look like my dad. Are all smart people like that? You can answer it right away without making things complicated."
"I'll answer if I have to answer, so I want to know what I'm asking you first." Said Tyaga coldly. "What's your reason for asking about the photo? And what do you see just from a picture?"
"Everyone says you go out on a date. In this photo you both look very close."
"I told you it was just a picture." Tyaga.
"Because answer!" Ares was upset because Tyaga did not answer his question directly. "I wonder if you guys went together?"
Tyaga smiled a sceptical smile at Ares's annoyance.
"It seems I was wrong to come to see you. I shouldn't have asked anything—"
"We met there by accident." Cut off Tyaga who finally answers Ares's question. "I saw him looking at a leather jacket he couldn't possibly buy."
Ares was stunned by Tyaga's reply. Hearing the words of the young man, made him happy because it turns out the assumption of everyone who said that they both went on a date is not true.
"I know what he's been there for. I could've bought that jacket, but that's impossible for me to do, right? He would also reject it." Tyaga. "Until the end, he just asked me what size I was wearing. That's all it is."
"Is it really like that?" Ask Ares to make sure.
"Why don't you ask him directly? I think he'll answer that too if you ask him." Look at Tyaga in wonder. "I think I forgot that you were so stupid. Even though you like him, you blame him for the death of your best friend. It's like that, right?"
In fact, when Tyaga and Tania came together to meet Ares in his room, after coming out of the young man's room, Tyaga did not leave immediately. The young man stood outside by eavesdropping on the conversation between Tania and Ares. That's what makes him know what happened to the two people who immediately became visible far apart.
"I heard when you told him all that. He said that you could blame him for everything that happened to your best friend so you wouldn't be too sad. And you really blame her."
Ares remained silent. The young man simply clenched his right hand with a glare that looked grim because Tyaga's words were true.
"If it is like that. Keep going, you don't have to see her anymore or secretly see her." Tyaga continued after laughing a little because of something he knew. "You're so ludicrous, you don't want him to come see you but you're the one who came to see him by midnight."
Nothing came out of Ares' mouth when he heard Tyaga's slurs on him.
"As long as you know, other than he who kept you from being expelled, he also made your enemy retract his report. You owe him so much." Tyaga. "He cares about you a lot and wants you to graduate, but what did you do to him?"
