024. A VERY STRANGE FAMILY

Kayden, who left the hospital, arrived at his home. The man rushed straight to his room to rest. It felt like he became very upset when he heard Ares' words, so he felt better to go from there.

"How's Tania doing?" Karen asked when she saw her son. "Is he really okay and there's no serious injury?"

"Then why did you come home?" Karen asked in surprise as Kayden did not remain in the hospital accompanying Tania.

"What's wrong with her? Why is he so again?" Karen muttered as she walked towards the stairs.

"Feed me a bribe." Ares said while taking a hospital plate containing Tania's food. "Wake up, you can sit down, right?"

Tania took a deep breath and ignored him. The girl tried to hold back her anger by looking coldly at Ares.

"I told you I don't want to eat." Answer Tania.

"You have to eat otherwise, you'll get sick and it'll be a responsibility—"

"Be quiet! I told you what happened to me wasn't your responsibility, you idiot!!" Tania exclaimed with a look of wonder at Ares. "You better get out of here, too, let me rest on my own."

Ares put down the plate he was carrying and directly held onto Tania's body without the girl guessing. The young man pulled Tania up to be in a sitting position.

The surprised Tania could not do anything because Ares did it all of a sudden and she also could not move her body freely.

"What are you doing?" Tania's eyes glared in surprise. The girl was a little scared because Ares had just done some unexpected things by holding her body to make her sit up.

"That's so you can eat." Ares replied as he took back the food plate he had placed on the table. "You should eat seka—"

Tania quickly snatched the plate from Ares' hand and immediately ate the food.

Seeing him Ares immediately sat back in his chair because his efforts were not in vain.

He stared at Tania who was eating because there was something the young man wanted to ask Tania.

"What's wrong? You're hungry too because it's looking at me like that?" The lyrics of Tania who noticed Ares' gaze on her.

"Why didn't you tell your mom about your situation now? And why don't you stay with your parents?" Ares asked who had seen a little conversation with Tania with the girl's mother in the message, when she took her phone. "Why are you living alone here? Do you still have a sibling relationship with the Headmaster and the Master Teacher?"

Tania lowered her plate and looked at Ares. The girl became astonished because Ares asked a lot about her.

"Jawab, can't I ask about you?"

"I don't think it has anything to do with the responsibility you're saying." Tania said she ate her food again.

"It's not that, I just think because you're a girl, but you live alone in a city this big and coupled with your stupid nature... That would be very dangerous." Ares said with a grunt.

"The nature of stupidity?" Tania looked back at Ares in annoyance. "What does that mean? I've always done anything after thinking things through a thousand times, there's no way I've got a stupid past." This time Tania looks upset because Ares insinuates the thing that the girl dislikes the most.

"Yes, you've been in fights twice, isn't it because of your stupid past?" Ares answered by turning one of his lips in an annoyed look. "What does one think a thousand times? You don't think anything and do everything all of a sudden. You are indeed very masa—"

Ares' words stopped and he turned to the open curtain. From behind the curtain appeared Tasya—ibu of the young man.

"Don't speak loudly to a woman." Tania exclaimed as she walked inside with a fruit parcel placed directly onto the table, then stood beside Ares.

"Ma—mama? Why is mom here?" Tanya Ares stood up in shock at the presence of her mother.

Tania simply smiled answering her son's question, then directed her gaze at Tania.

"How are you doing, are you okay?" Tasya asked with her gentle face.

Tasya just nodded thinly by pulling her lips. The girl was as surprised as Ares about Tasya's presence there.

"What's your mom doing here? Do you know where I'm from if I'm in this hospital?" Again Ares asked because the young man still looked astonished. "Ah, don't tell me that Uncle Lion told you?"

Tasya only turned her lips to respond to Ares's question and looked back at Tania.

Ares' uncle, Lion, is a well-known person in the country. His friend was everywhere and that made his uncle know where and where Ares was, because his uncle's friends would tell Ares' position to his uncle, which will eventually be infused to both parents. That's what makes Ares' parents never mind anything that the young man does.

"Tania, I'm sorry for what happened to you is Ares, because in exchange, I've settled all the hospital fees."

"You don't have to do it, madam." Answer Tania. "What happened to me was all my fault."

Ares did not answer because that was his intention. From the beginning he intended to take responsibility for Tania's condition.

"Tania, get well. I'd feel so guilty if something worse happened to you." Tasya said holding Tania's palm. "Alright, because it's night I'm going home. Ice, get the keys to this car. Replace your uniform with the clothes in the car. Mama's gonna bring your bike home." Tasya gives the car keys and Ares gives the keys.

"Mrs, thank you for visiting me." Tania.

After Tasya left, Ares again looked at Tania who also turned to him.

In the girl's mind, she came to understand why Ares insisted on saying about the responsibility so many times. Hearing the words of Tasya who also said that what happened to him was the young man's fault, making him think that the Ares family did teach him such a thing.

"Your family is very strange." Tania.

"No, you don't know anything about my family. But yeah... You could say my family is very strange." Ares smiled at his smile. "Then why didn't you answer what I was asking? Why didn't you tell your mother and choose to live alone in this town?"
