When Hamzah Met Alifa

When Hamzah Met Alifa
Jealous

"Hamzah, where do you plan to work?" tahya Haida on the sidelines eats at a fancy restaurant in the city center.

"I don't know yet, Oma. It's still looking for job vacancies."

"But Oma think you don't need to rush to find work, deh. You just graduated from college, let's take a break. Money matters, let it be from Oma alone."

Hamzah smiled briefly. "Thank you, Oma. But it's my duty as a husband to make a halal living for Alifa."

Hearing Hamzah's words, Alifa who was sitting next to him sighed. "Want to give a living how? If you're still unemployed."

"Alifa," Haida jolted a sharp glance at Alifa who she thought was degrading Hamzah. "He's your husband. You can't appreciate him a little."

"It's okay, Oma," said Hamzah softly. Then he glanced at Alifa who was beside him. "If we strive to be accompanied by the prayer of God's insha, there must be a way, Fa. You just pray that I get to work quickly."

Alifa just kept quiet and chose to continue eating. Meanwhile, Haida looked at Hamzah and Alifa in turn.

Without anyone to see, Haida smiled, as she felt she had chosen the right husband for Alifa. It is rare to find a man like Hamzah in this modern world.

Dinner was enjoyed in silence. For the rest of the event, no one spoke again until Alifa had finished first and permission to go to the toilet.

About five minutes later, Hamzah and Haida had also finished the meal. Haida intends to go straight home, but Alfa who went to the toilet has not returned.

"Hamzah, you try to follow Alifa to the toilet. Oma wait for you in the car. We're going home now, because Oma's gonna take a quick break."

Hamzah nodded steadily. Then got up from her seat and walked towards the woman's toilet.

At the same time, Alifa who had just walked out of the toilet door was suddenly intercepted by a man. Alifa rounded her eyes when she saw the man.

Vice versa, the man also seemed surprised to meet with Alifa accidentally. He pointed at Alifa and said, "Alifa? Are you here?"

"Kevin, what are you doing here?"

Alifa immediately circulated her gaze to look for Hamzah while in her heart hoping that Kevin would not meet her husband.

"I'm hanging out the same. Lah, you?"

"I'm…"

"Alifa," call Hamzah near to Alfah.

"Could have been me" muttered Alifa very slowly. He patted his eel and did not understand why things always cornered him.

Kevin turned to the man who had just come over while calling Alifa by name. Surat wonder was engraved on Kevin's face. The man held Alifa's hand.

"Oma, we're waiting for us in the car" said Hamzah to pull Alifa's hand.

However, Kevin asked, "Alifa, who is he?"

Hamzah looked at Kevin. Somehow there was a sense of dislike perched in Hamzah's heart when he looked at Kevin's face.

Putting on a flat face, Hamzah replied, "I am Hamzah, her husband Alifa."

"Husband?" Kevin jumped in shock to repeat Hamzah's speech. Then Kevin turned to Alifa for an explanation.

As Kevin knew, Alifa had never been close to any man at all but why all of a sudden the woman already had a husband.

"Is that true, Fa? Are you married?"

"Errr... anu." Alifa stammered unable to speak clearly.

He was confused as to how to tell Kevin. Indeed, Alifa would prefer if his marriage to Hamzah is kept secret and no one knows.

However, now one of Alifa's friends already knows his secret. Unfortunately again the person is Kevin, the man who always pursues the love of Alifa.

Unwilling to give a definite answer, Alifa finally said, "Sorry, Kev. I'll go home first, okay? I've been waiting for Oma."

Alifa ruffled waist while displaying a sour face. He is furious at Hamzah who made his secret leak.

"Why do you have to tell Kevin that we're married?"

"Are we married, right? I'm your husband and you're my wife" said Hamzah, who was not to blame.

This time I don't know what Hamzah is acting like. But one thing was clear, there was a rumble of anger when he saw Alifa conversing with another man.

While Alifa was with him, his wife was always surly.

"Yes, but I want our marriage to be kept a secret. I don't want anyone to know we're a couple" said Alifa, who appeared to be unheard of by Hamzah.

Hamzah himself was silent and realized he was being attacked by jealousy and he immediately took a breath.

Hamzah remembers a long time ago he read a book to overcome jealousy. A prayer that was once taught by Umm al-Mukminin Aisha from the apostle of Allah saw.

At first Hamzah put his right hand to the chest and said, "Bismillah, allhuma daawinii bidawaaika wasyfinii bisyifaaika wa'aghnii bifadhilka 'amman sivaaka wahdzar 'anni aadzaaka. By reciting the name of Allah, O Allah, heal me with Your medicine and heal me with Your healing. Fill me with Your grace from besides You and deliver me from Your torment."

Seeing Hamzah praying, Alifa snorted, looked away, and folded her hands in front of her chest.

"You're the weirdest guy I've ever met."

"Alifa, Hamza?" A voice rebuked the two of them.

Apparently the voice came from Haida who was walking closer to them. From inside the car, Haida observed Alifa and Hamzah who seemed to be fighting.

So Haida got out of the car and approached the two of them. Haida looked at Alifa and Hamzah in turn.

He observed every expression shown by each and Haida was able to conclude that the two of them were indeed at odds.

"What's this?"

"He used to be, Oma," alifa pointed to Hamzah. "She leaked our wedding secrets to one of my college friends."

Alifa was singing her lips in annoyance. He hoped that his grandmother would defend him and rebuke Hamzah.

However, Alifa mistakenly guessed. Precisely Haida shook her head staring at Alifa.

" Here you are wrong, Alifa. Don't throw blame at Hamzah!"

"Already, Oma. Let's just go home yuk," said Hamzah to ease the problem.

Haida looked at Hamzah with a shady look and allowed the man to get in the car first.

After Hamzah left, Haida refocused on her grandson. He looked at her with a difficult look.

Then Haida said, "Alifa, Oma knows you have to accept this marriage. But maybe if Oma asks you to show a little respect to Hamzah."

"Ck, Mom. I had to marry Hamzah. I don't love him."

"Yes, Oma knows. Hamzah was also initially hesitant to marry you but he was trying to be a good husband to you," Haida stared fixedly at her grandson.

Look at Alifa who turned her face away. So Haida pulled Alifa's chin gently, forcing her grandson to look at her.

"You don't want to go to hell just because you don't obey your husband, do you?" asked Haida in a soft voice. "You don't want to go to heaven?"

Alifa. "Kok Oma even discussed hell as heaven anyway? Bizarrely. Oma's been hit by Hamzah time, hasn't she?"

Haida chuckled at the words that Alifa said.

Then Haida again said, "Alifa listen to Oma carefully, a woman if she always prays five times, fasts in the month of Ramadan, keeps honor and *******, and obeys her husband, and obeys him, it will be said to him to enter heaven from whichever door you will."
